base of Ege will not allow any one to climb it
The mature ram at the
base Of Ege will not allow any one to climb it
Ege tree bear wealth on
it tree
The back of Ege tree is
full of Expensive beads
The middle of it is full
of Brass
It is only Orunmila that know
how to offer ebo

Application and Interpretation
of this stanza of Odu Ifa Irete Meji during Ifa consultation
Message
If Ifa Irete meji comes
out for a client during Ifa consultation . If the Ifa comes out with Ayewo(negative)
and the Ayewo is Ofo(Loss ) or Ija
(fight) . You will tell the client that is making the Ifa consultation that
he/she is experiencing Obstacle in attaining financial success. You will equally
tell the client that three obstacle are disturbing him or her from attaining
the financial success . You will advise the client to offer ebo with Eepo Isu
(yams peels),Akasu Eko kan (one wrap of palp), Erinka.Egungun (bone) and money
for you as Awo. That is what you will use to make ebo for him/her. You can
Equally advise the person to feed Orisa Aje with Ogede Omini(banana) Ekuru and
pegion .

Scriptural Narration
Behind This Stanza
In ancient
time, there is a tree in Ife city known as Igi Ege. This tree bear wealth and
other expensive beads. But only the age who is about to die can climb it. The
young and virile can not climb it. All the Irunmonle have try every means
possible to climb it with no avail. There is a ram and dog and myriads of Snakes
that guard the bottom of the tree. The Ege tree cannot climb by anybody.
Anybody who climb it will definitely become rich. Orunmila have intention of Climbing Ege tree.
He went for Ifa consultation to known what he can do to climb the tree. He was advised to
offer ebo with Eepo Isu (yams peels),Akasu Eko kan (one wrap of palp),
Erinka.Egungun (bone). He complied. When
he get to the base of the tree. He dropped the ebo. The ram was busy with yam
peel eating it, while the Dog is busy eating the bone . The snakes was busy biting
Eko. In the end. While they are busy eating . Orunmila climb the tree and cart
away the fruits.
