Ogiri ( A fermented
melons seed process for adding flavor to
food)
Eeru Alamon (Splited
Seeds of Xylopia aethopica)
Labalaba ( butterfly )
Omo agbara ojo (water
collected from rain flood /erosion )
Ose dudu/Ose funfun ( Black
/white local soap)
Preparation and Usage
The entire aforementioned
items will be grind together and mix with the soap . You will use little honey to mix it to make sure it easy to sue
for your skin.
Usage
You will be bathing
with occasionally.
When you put little out
of the soap on a sponge. You will then say the following recitation or chants
on it thus:
Iru ko ko ru awon omo
araye wa
Ogiri ko lo da won giri-giri
Eeru lo ni ki e wa ma ru
Ire aje wa bami
Eeeru alamon ko ninu a n
fi oro si
Eyin omo araye e fi oro
inu yin han
Atinu ati eyin ni
labalaba fi han Olodumare
Erin sese niti reri ko mi
Erin ni agbara n ri pade
Odo lona
Ati erin ati Oyaya ni ki
eyin omo araye fi ma ko owo fun mi
Translations:
It is Iru (the locust
beans ) that should push people to me in their multiltude
Ogiri should drive people
to my way
Eeru should make people
carry financial blessing to me
Eeru aalmon have no stomach
where it can keeps secrets
People of this world come
and show me your good thoughts
It is both outside and
inside that Labalaba (butterfly ) show to Olodumare
Rerinkomi leaves is found
of excessive smile and laugh
It is with great smile
and laugh that erosion run in full speed to meet the river
People of this world
should shower me with financial blessing with love and smile
. The person is going to
bathe with it.
