 Babalawo  Obanifa will through the medium of this work document some of the preparation  available in Africa Ifa spirituality .That can be use to enhance the efficacy of spiritual preparation .  The nomenclature for the preparation of this nature is known as  Ajegun . One of the Akose Ifa (Ifa Medicine ) for this this purpose is derive from Odu Ifa Ogbe Irete also Known as Ogbe Ate. For an Awo to prepare this medicine he/she will need the following:

Ewe  Iyalode (Leaves of Jathrophas Curcus)

Ewe Esisin ( Esinsin leaves )

Ewe Ayunre (leaves Albizia )

Preparation

You will roast   the tree aforementioned items to fine powder.

You will use to imprint Odu Ifa Ogbe Irete thus:

You will chant the following Ifa recitation on it thus :

Orunmila ni o di Ologoronjo

Emi n ani o di Ologoronjo

Olomi lolo Abe ota

Ara Ile won o gbodo mu

 Awon Ajoji won o gbodo bu san ese

Dia fun Orunmila nijo to fe lo gba Ajefo latode orun

Ebo ni won ni ko se

 O si gbo ebon be o rubo

 O ni gbogbe ewe ti mo ba ja no ko ma je

 A ti Ayunre je oloja Ogun

 Translation:

Orunmila say it has now become a compiling of matters

I retort that it has now become a compiling matter

The clean water under the rock

 The house owners must not drink

Strangers are not allowed to wash their feet with it

This was Ifa’s message for Orunmila

When he was going to receive Ajefo (power of efficacy of the preparation) from Olodumare

He was advised to offer ebo

 He complied and offer the required ebo

He declared that any medicine I made will always work for me

We have made Ayunre leaves the king of all medicinal preparations
