In this current work Babalawo Obanifa
will document one the chants fall into category of what is known as Ofo(spiritual
chants ) in Africa Spirituality. It is amazing the number of people in the
world who do not wish good to others. Matter of Fact, they wish the very
opposite; they often wish evil upon you. Although we are not able to stop
them from wishing evil towards us, we can surely stop their evil powers from
being our portion. These prayers will give you victory as you counteract
their evil power.
When you are in a battle and you
realize someone is shooting at you, you must defend yourself. Believers
use the Word of God to return fire. Below is one of the chants you can chant on
oil. It is known as Ofo Abaniseta (Chants for Victory over Enemies).

Ile lo ni kia won ota ma yanku

Ki ori mi damilare niwaju omode ati

Translations:
Abanisetaa-(He who to secure victory
over enemies )
Abaniseta -(He who to secure victory
over enemies )
Abaniseta is the name we called fa
Olagborandun( the divine Advocate is
the name of the mother earth)
Adanilare (He who vindicate one) is
the name of Ori
Ada-fi-eeku -sakin is the name of Ogun
Okunrin gbinrin-gbinrin is the name
of Esu
Okunrin koroboto ti teepa oje
Is the name of the Orisa
Ofojona fi epo rara is the name of Sonpona
When muiltitude of enemies are their
enemies
They invoke mother earth to kill
their enemies prematurely
They invoke mother earth to kill
their enemies untimely
Adanilare is the name of one’s Ori
My Ori should vindicate me in front
of young and old
Mother earth should come to my aid
Ogun should ome to aid
Esu should put trouble in their life
Ofojana fepo rara should start to afflict
enemies with diseases
Anybody who think evil of me
Evil should begin to befall them
Theses aforementioned seven people
have victory over their enemies
I should be the one to have victory over my
enemies
