IFA TEACHES ON DEDICATION
AND HARD-WORK AS THE KEY TO SUCCESSFUL LIFE BY BABALAWO OBANIFA-Obanifa extreme Documentaries
In this work Babalawo
Obanifa will examine the Ifa theological and philosophical thoughts on concept of
dedication and hard work as the only key
to successful living. There is no doubt about the fact that man cannot make any
progress without effort and hard work. For example, one who studies
whole-heartedly becomes a scholar. Similarly, a farmer who ploughs the farm, sows’
seeds in it and waters them, is soon rewarded with crops. On the other hand,
whoever is lazy and indolent and does not do any work, is faced with woes and
worries. Indolence and irresponsibility results in poverty and grief. Success
have a price the price of success is hard work and dedication. The only place where success come before work
is in the dictionary. In real life situation ,work is what come first before
success. If you want real success, you must be able to put in the hard work require , You must be a risk taker.
Many will say, I can take risk, I cannot do this work, I cannot do that because
it is too risky. The work is hard, the business is hard. If you cannot do those
things that are hard and risky, I belt with you, you may find it difficult to
become successful. Taking risk or hard work is never enough. You must remain
dedicated and committed to your course, business or life goals.
What do I mean by
dedication within the context of this work. By dedication I am referring to the
willingness to give a lot of time
and energy to something because it is important. The
quality of being committed to a task or purpose. When you commit yourself to something?
It will be deemed feet that you are dedicated to such thing. When you are focus
and committed to certain goals, believes or idea. You will be deemed to be dedicated
to such goal. Without dedication human
can never become successful in their assignment, goal, business or even
relationship. For success to come,
dedication must be combine with the spirit of Hard work before success can
manifest. What do I mean by hard work within the context of this work, I am referring
to a great deal of effort or endurance? When these two are merged together
in whatever one do. Success is what will follow.
Odu Ifa Ejiogbe
scriptural stanza lay emphasis on the need for hard work. Ifa says, an individual
who refuse to work should not be feed. Ifa says those who claim they don’t want to do dirty work because it is
dirty, it will be difficult for their mouth to eat good food. And those who
rely on what they get through inheritance exposes their self to suffering.
Ejiogbe Emphasis on diligence in one’s work. On this Ifa says:
E je ki a se Ise
Mo ni mi o ni sise
Dia fun Ole
Arise ma se
A sun lale ba oorun la
Awon Agboju le ogun fi
ara won fun osi ta
Bi a ko ti a ko sise

Translation:
Let us work I said I am
not working
This was Ifa’s message
for lazy person
Who see work and refuse
to get engage in it
He will sleep until
sunrise
Those who rely on resources
they get through inheritance have make their self-vulnerable to suffering
If we refuse to work
And shed sweat profusely today
We cannot become wealthy tomorrow
Step on the mud
I cannot step on the mud
If we refuse to step on
the mud
Our mouth cannot eat good
food
This was Ifa’s message
for a lazy person
He has physically able
arms but refuse to work with it
Those who choose to be
lazy at the early morning of their life
They only postpone their
suffering till the evening of their life
Only work can bring one’s
favor and fortune
Laziness will not bring
any good things
Those who refuse to work
They did not deserve food
If a lazy person is
hungry
Let him die
Whether alive or dead
A lazy person is useless right from time
Let us work
Moon is busy with work in
the sky
See its bright
Illumination
Let us work
If one refuse to work
One cannot become successful
Those in poverty should
not venerate Osun
It is not a matter of
venerating Orisa
If you like venerate
Sango
If you like venerate
Obatala
It is on the day you
start to work for money that you will bless with food to eat
There is no Orisa that safe a lazy person
It is your handwork that will take you to greater height
Learn from insects
Let us work.
The Odu Ifa explained
