He was the Awo who cast Ifa for Gbolu
When going for the annual planting season
They advised him to offer ebo
Gbolu was a farmer.  His harvests from the previous year were  total failure.  He couldn't explain why, but all the crops he planted the  previous  year did not do well.  He lost heavily.  Out of frustration and disappointment he intended to enter other business. As a result of the bad harvest the previous year, he owed many  people a lot of money.  This was why he went to his Awo to find out if he had to continue cultivating the land or change in another trade.  He felt that agriculture was a very risky business.   When Ifa was consulted, Otura-Meji was revealed.  Ifa assured Gbolu that  he would succeed on a land and farming  that year.  They told him not to change his  business and that success  will come from the business he do.  The Awo told him that the agriculture would benefit him that year.  They advised him to focus on the  yam plantation.  They also told him not to sell his yam at all. They asked  him to turn everything into Elubu, yam flour and save it.  The Awo  said it was from the sale of yam flour that his success would come.  He was   warned however that Gbolu  should never announced when this success  come.  Gbolu was advised to offer ebo with two pigeons, two roosters and money.  He was also told to feed Esu Odara  with  a large rooster and Palm oil.  Gbolu complied with all the recommendations of the  Babalawo. That year, Gbolu had a very generous harvest.  He refused to sell his yams.  He and his family were busy drying the yams and  turning them into yam flour, Elubo, when all others farmers were selling theirs.  Soon after this, the rain stopped to fall.  There was hunger.  The farms were dry;  the cropsm remaining on the farms were destroyed.  There was a shortage of food.  The People rushed to Gbolu to sell Elubo to them.  Gbolu was in no hurry for doing so.  People came back asking, Gbolu was not ready, and they
multiplied the price alone, just for them to have food on their houses.  Gbolu was not read.  When he agreed to sell himself, the price of his Elubu had been increased in several folds.  Gbolu became a man immediate lucky.  People envied his success.  There was nothing that he He wished he couldn't wear it.One day, Gbolu looked at his environment and realized that there was nobody in the community whose success was close to theirs.  He decided to sing in the appreciation of what Olodumare had done for him.  He concluded that this miracle in his life should be appreciated and the only way to do this was to let the world know that he was not an ungrateful person.  So he started singing like this:
Baba ad´eda, Ifa gba wa o o
 Baba ad´eda o
 Asanwewe, Awo al´atioro
Baba ad´eda, Ifa gba wa o!
Translation
Father of miracles, Ifa please come to my aid
 Father of miracles
Asanwewe, who adds beautiful feathers to the body of the Atioro bird
Father of miracles, please come to my aid!
Gbolu sang and danced about in true appreciation of what
Olodomare had made it for him.  He said that Atioro, bird had four colors  different in the feathers of his body. But for these Olodumare gifts, this bird would have been just like some other ordinary bird.  He was compared to this bird because it was Olodomare who gave the good harvest and foresight and if not, he too he would have been fighting for food like other citizens. When all those who envied his success heard this however they thought Gbolu was proud and arrogant.  They said that he he made a joke of them because of their misfortune.  They all came together and  they vowed to teach him a lesson he would not soon forget.  The part of the plan was to set fire to his house, to ruin his farm and attack  his family severely.  If some or all of them died in the process, they they concluded, he was going to serve them well.  They set the time to carry out  their  plan for five days time. As soon as these conspirators concluded their plan, Esu Odara  approached Gbolu and reproached him for stopping listening to the advice given by his  Awo.  He informed Gbolu that song had put him in danger because  all his enemies planned to ruin him.  Esu advised that he change the song ahead.  Esu taught him another song that he should start sing immediately.  Esu made this clear to Gbolu because Gbolu gave a  rooster when he offered ebo to Esu  will not allow the enemies of Gbolu would ruin him because Gbolu's gesture had made Gbolu his friend.  Esu promised to be for Gbolu till the end.  Gbolu thanked him and began to  sing the new song like this:

Omo-sanda, Ifa gba wa oo
Omo sanda
B´iku ba n sa´ke
T´arun n ho kun l´ode
Omo sanda, Ifa gba wa o

He sang and danced to all corners of the community.  The conspirators  heard loud and clear.  None of them could have any sense of this new song.  Esu Odara was to find the conspirators where t they were deliberating on their next line of action.  He told them that Gbolu he had been informed of their  plan with one of them and that Gbolu had gone to relate them in the appropriate rooms.  If they should do something wrong to Gbolu, Esu warned them, they would arrest all of them because all their names had been  mentioned by the traitor.  When they heard this, mutual suspicions they entered stealthily.  They could no longer trust each other.  They now scattered in complete confusion.  Gbolu and his family lived to enjoy their wealth and new status for him. For the  rest of their lives. On this Ifa says :

She asked, therefore, Orofo refused to offer prescribed ebo.  Soon after this, Orofo laid two eggs and hatched both.  She has achiever  her mission as  a proud mother of two babies.  She was very happy.  Anytime  she was invited to any event, she was going to make sure she arrived there late.  If asked why she was late, she would answer that she  I was taking care of the two babies.  She would make it clear how difficult this was( babysitting one baby )  talk less than two at the same time.  She went to  conclude in her   explanation by saying that her house was filled to the brim with consequently the arrival of these babies.  At one stage Orofo formed a song for her.  All day, she  would sing 'IIe kun soso (my house is full on the brink) repeatedly. One day, people called each other together.  They said there was a need  for  them go to the Orofo house and capture her and all her children who filled her house her to the brim  for food.  They said how could they be hungry when Orofo's house was furnishedly populated.  They set a date  to go and do this job.  On the designated day, they went to the house of  Orofo very early in the morning.  They killed Orofo and his two children for the  food. When they discovered that only three of them were in the house, they  said, had they known that they were only three living together, they wouldn't have bothered themselves coming for Orofo and his children first.  That's how  Orofo used his mouth to set the trap for herself and she fell into the  trap alone.

These were Ifa statements to Orunmila
 Coming from heaven to earth
They advised him to offer ebo
Olodumare's original intention was to put Orunmila in charge of the people of longevity.  If someone wanted to live a long time, the person had to approaching Orunmila and he would ensure that the person lived a long time. When Olodomare told him that they would put him in charge making people live For a long time, Orunmila replied that the wealth that Obaluwaye rejected;  and the  spouse that Esu Odara refused to accept;  and the children that Iya-mi-Osoronga does not  wanted  should be given to him in addition to the longevity that Olodumare at  initially planned to give it.  His request was granted by Olodumare.  Moments after this, four of them dropped heaven to earth.  Four of lived close to each other.  When Obaluwaye, Esu Odara and Iya-mi-Osoronga rejected the offer made to  them by Olodumare, they had no idea how life on earth  would be.  When they got to earth feeding became a problem for them.  They had no companion and they were not endowed with children.  On the other hand, Orunmila was endowed with wealth, many women and  children.  Before long, envy crept in.  The three others were made  of all Orunmila's achievements.  They too were frustrated  that these offers were made before to them but they were the ones who rejected them .  One day, three of them picked up to regret their ordeals on earh .  They  concluded that they must summon Orunmila to their  presence and accuse him of   insensitivity to their action .  They were convinced that Orunmila did not  had no right to enjoy when they suffered;  he didn't have any  right to have several spouses when they had none.  and he doesn't had no business to give birth to many children when they did not have  none.  When they called Orunmila, the day was an  Ose -Awo when no Awo   seriously expected to leave home or go anywhere .  They told him to come and  seeing them during that day Orunmila returned to them who, when they were  aware that there was an Awo- day  and the next day it was Adabo.  And It was not  advisable for him to leave his house during that day.  He promised to come and see them after Adabo.  As soon as the Orunmila message was relayed to them, they concluded  that Orunmila was too full of him and proud .  They accused him of being arrogant,  proud and inconsiderate.  For all of these, they must teach him  a  bitter lesson  .  Obaluwaye swore that he would drain all the wealth that Orunmila had acquired that made them arrogant.  Esu Odara said that he would ensure that  all his women left him at once and he would cease to be
proud to them.  Iya-mi-Osoronga swore that she would kill and consume everyonee children he had who made him inconsiderate.  All of them  they planned to start these tasks in three days. Meanwhile, on the same night, Orunmila had a terrible dream.  He  summoned his Awo for Ifa consultation.  During this session, Otura-Meji was  revealed. The Awo told Orunmila that there was the fight and conspiracy of those of the  same blood with him.  The Awo explained that his three brothers were mad at him for all his accomplishments on earth.  Obaluwaye was not happy that  Orunmila was endowed with financial success and not him;  the Esu Odara was sad  that Orunmila was endowed with many spouses and not he;  while Iya-mi- Osoronga was unhappy that Orunmila was endowed with many children and not her.  The   Awo stated that three of them planned to ensure that he lost everything  had ever acquired in your life and that they were going to start their bad plans  in just two days.
The Awo advised Orunmila to offer Ebo with three roosters immediately.  Orunmila obeyed.  After this, the Awo told him to fill a basket with money  and go to Obaluwaye's house to present him as a gift.  He shouldn't behave as if he knew that Obaluwaye was planning any evil against him.  He was only to mention that he felt  Obaluwaye was not happy with him.  After this, he was to fill another basket of money, adds one of his wives to i and introduces him to Esu-Odara as the  present.  He was to fill a third basket of money, add one of his children to it and present it to Iya-mi-Osoronga as his gift to her.  He must never leave none of them knowing that he was already aware of his bad plans against him. The next day, very early in the morning, Orunmila brought a basket full of money  and went to Obaluwaye's house.  When he got there, he saw Obaluwaye in  a tattered mat looking very downcast.  As soon as Obaluwaye saw him,  Orunmila shouted a song Iyere, saying:

When Orunmila entered the house, he prostrated  for Obaluwaye.  He told her this When he thought about the economic situation on earth, he felt that there was  need him to attend Obaluwaye to avoid a situation where  Obaluwaye would accentuate himself too strongly before he could  feed.  So he had brought the money for himself to spend on the  feeding himself.  The money was bigger Obaluwaye had put ever your eyes on everywhere you stay on earth.
Orunmila assured him that the money was for himself and that many more  they would come on a regular basis as from that time from here on  ahead. When Obaluwaye saw what Orunmila had done, he became confused.  How  could he drain the money from a brother who had promised to expand the part
of your wealth to him regularly without prompting him to do so?  In the same moment, Obaluwaye swore never lend a hand in the destruction of Orunmila.  He told Orunmila that as to  from that day onwards, no one could spoil their things other  time.  Obaluwaye swore that someone who plans to ruin Orunmila had  (Obaluwaye) to compete.  Orunmila thanked him deeply and returned to his  House. Afterward, he filled another basket of money.  He called Agberu his wife.  He explained  Agberu that as of that day, she was going to become Esu's wife Odara.  He explained that Esu Odara needed a partner who would have looking after him and children for him.  Since Agberu had just arrived in Orunmila at home, she had never slept with Orunmlla, she had no child to  Orunmila, she would be Esu Odara Orunmila's best wife.  promised him that  I would be well cared for by Esu Odara.  After discussions

When Iya-mi-Osoronga heard that the money belonged to her alone, she was very  happy.  She then told Orunmila that they had planned before. Discipline her, but now that he had remembered her, she would not participate in his .  Orunmila thanked him and went home. As soon as he was gone, Iya-mi-Osoronga began to think.  She was convinced that Esu or Obaluwaye had escaped their secret to Orunmila She said that as a woman, she was suspicious of people escaping her  secret and now it was a man who did it.  After much deliberation /  she concluded that it must have been Obaluwaye who revealed his secret to Orunmila.  Meanwhile, Obaluwaye was totally convinced · that it must be Esu Odara who told Orunmila his projects while Esu Odara suspected Iya-  my-Osoronga to reveal his secrets to Orunmila. For this reason, Iya-mi-Osoronga called an urgent meeting.  When they three arrived at the premises they are in, they accused each other of revealing  its secrets to Orunmila.  After much argument, they realized that Ifa he must have told Orunmila all her plans against him.  They then they concluded that it would be wise for them to formally forgive Orunmila  so they sent a message to Orunmlla to come and see them. When Orunmila arrived, they told him that they had called for them to inform him that they had no more grudge against him.  For this, he grateful to them.  They told him to go and get three Okete, gigantic rats, one for each of them.  They asked him to put each one in a container  separate for each of them and for him to present to them that day. Orunmila left to go and look for the rats. When he got the rats, he groomed them when he had been instructed.  He He found them again where they were.  When he got there, he faced Obaluwaye first and he Iyere sung, saying:

Later, Orunmlla was in front of Esu Odara, and sang the same saying of

It was the Awo that launched Ifa for Orunmila
When he and the missing 400 Irunmole started a joint contribution
 monetary
He was knowledgeable to offer you ebo
At its regular meetings, the 401 Irunmole came up with an idea. That they could start a consumer cooperative where they would contribute money, since be it in cash or in class.  If the money was contributed in this meeting, it would be delivered to one of them to start a business.  In the next  meeting, the money would be contributed and given over to another Irunmole for  start business.  This was the way they would rotate her around all of them and  they would all get the money to embark on commercial ventures viable.  All the Irunmole present at the meeting welcomed an idea with enthusiasm.  They decided that they would start the contribution with 2,500 cowries per Irunmole, To start.  This translated for a million cowries even if the deposit of the  money did not put  money in it.  This meeting took place every five days.  This mean it would take about 57 months for that to turn  around all the Irunmole. They concluded that Osun would take first, followed by Esu Odara, Obatala, Ogun, Sango, while Orunmila would take the last one.  They were all of agreement, and all of them considered that deliberation for one the most helpful that they had ever had in recent years.  After  this, all Irunmole went to their various houses.  When Orunmila came home, he called his group of Awos who was in fact his  alumni for the Ifa consultation: Would this Inrunmole decision be so  rewarding how did it look?  Did Irunmole benefit according to  plan?  During the consultation, Otura-MeJi was revealed. The Awo told Orunniila that the movement would benefit all Irunmole  except Orunmila except himself.  They told him that his fate gave him no support  to enter into joint venture or joint financial contribution with others.  He was well informed to offer you ebo as stated above.  After that, he was told to withdraw from the contribution.  Orunmila complied with the advice and offered him the ebo.  He however found it impossible to withdraw because he did not want to be seen as the one who spoiled the  plan of all the Irunmole.  He was convinced that he should if he retires, his  Action would have a winning party effect, and the contribution would collapse.  He continued with them anyway. When they started, the first contribution was given to Osun When she  came home, she started her trading business.  She took some of the money to get a big hen and pig to make your Oke-Ipori.  The next on the day of the meeting, the money was given to Obatala.  He started his business, and took  part of the money to buy 16 snails and ori (sea butter) to  feed your Oke-Ipori.  Ogun fed his Oke-Ipori with a male dog and  started his business.  Sango fed her Oke-Ipori with a ram and started her  deal.  Orisa-Oko fed her Oke-Ipori with a mutton cooked in soup Egusi, melon soup and beaten sweet potato added for that before starting your  deal.  Obaluwaye fed his Oke-Ipori with sweet potato porridge and fried  shrimp and washed with water all with freshly beaten palm wine  slightly.  That was how completely the Irunmole was  performing every time they got their  The contributions.  Their businesses flourished. After all, it was Orunmila's return to collect her contribution.  That day, No Irunmole came for the meeting.  He waited and waited.  When he didn't see them went home.  He sent his children to the Irunmole to bring their contribution to him.  They made excuses.  That was how Orunmila lost a million cowries that he contributed for more than 57  months.  When he remembered Ifa's message he was not completely surprised.  He just praised his group of Awo who  earlier they had warned him against him.

He was the Awo that make  Ifa for Orunmila
When coming from heaven to earth
He was advised to offer   ebo
When he was with God, Orunmila was a prominent leader among his Egbe.  He was respected and adored.  While he was among his Egbe in heaven, there was no  crisis because he always applied his wisdom and understanding to manage the   affairs.  When it was time for him to come to earth, the egbe accepted  this  is done reluctantly.  They made him understand that they couldn't affor him staying too long on earth.  They urged him to make his stay  temporary  and very short on earth .  For this Orunmila went to  ajenje-ni´regun-ni´ of one of his numerous students on how to  accomplished his  assignments on the earth.  Orunmila was taught how to prepare Aroko.  Shortly after this, he left heaven to earth. While on the earth, his Egbe in heaven found it difficult to manage his affairs  effectively as Orunmila used to do when he was with them.  The  The situation was not going smoothly as they would have loved.  For many attempts  , they couldn't find the meaningful solution for many of their problems.  They were all convinced and concerned that the situation was not bad when Orunmila was with them in heaven.  Tired of all these  problems, they discussed  and concluded that Orunmila should be called  back to heaven to come and take over the management of the affairs of  his Egbe This time, it was not even until 10 years that Orunmila left heaven to earth.  They started calling Him repeatedly.  They appeared before to him in his dreams, he saw them in the corners of his room in flashes, he knew of them the Ifa that he released for himself and the others.  That was when he knew  that there was a need for him to send the Aroko to his egbe so that  he could fulfill his mission on earth. He got all the materials he needed for ebo and preparing the  Aroko and called another student from here on earth to help him prepare it.  He  offered him the ebo.  and gave the Awo instructions to do about the  preparation of the Aroko.  While they were doing these, his egbe in heaven sent the delegates to him  to bring him  to heaven on that day.  In heaven though, a big reception have been  prepared for his arrival.  That was the only topic for debate between  all the egbe members in heaven back then.  They were all full  of great expectation.  As soon as Orunmila and her Awo completed the Aroko, the delegates  arrived.  The delegates asked Orunmila to follow them to heaven.  They explained to all their egbe eagerly awaiting his arrival because everyone have lost their unmatched administrative capacity.  Instead of following delegates, Orunmila gave the Aroko to them and sang like this:

Delegates could not make meaning of the content of the Aroko and the  song that he sang.  They asked him to explain the meaning for them.  Orunmila changed the direction of the dove's head and said to them that  represents financial success.  He said he needed to succeed before  to return to heaven.  He showed them the head of a chicken and said that  represents a good spouse.  He explained that he must be blessed with a  good wife before she got back to heaven.  He pulled out the rat heads and  fish;  He explained that they represented the children.  He made it abundantly  clear that he couldn't reach heaven until he had the children who would continue for him when He decided to return to heaven.  He put out the head of a chicken from Guinea and told them that it represents peace and comfort.  explained that he would not return  to heaven until it's very comfortable.  He took out all the fruits and told them that  they represented sweetness and happiness.  He said that without these, he couldn't go back to heaven.  He showed them all the contents in Aroko's bag and explained what  that all of them  They represented.  He promised that as soon as he acquires all the good  things in life, He would go back to heaven. When the delegates heard these statements, they were very sad and disappointed that Orunmila was not unprepared or in a condition  return to heaven at that time but they recognized the fact that he needed  fulfill his mission on the earth before returning to heaven.  They accepted the Aroko from  him and asked how soon he would return to heaven;  Instead of giving a  definitive answer, he just said, 'the same soon'.  They couldn't understand that.  Again they asked him to tell them how long that was required to  return to heaven.  His response again was, 'very long.'  After  with much deliberation, the delegates returned to heaven together with the  Aroko,  help  Orunmila. After this incident Orunmila lived on earth for several years and managed  all the Ire he had chosen in heaven before he finally returned  to heaven to collide with his egbe he was welcomed by  excitement when he finally got to heaven.

Orunmila replied that he had landed at the ajero palace
Not until two Itadoguns (17 days) that Orunmila returned from the palace of Alara  an   Ajero's emissary arrived.  Ajero asked Orunmila to follow his emissary  immediately because there was an emergency.  When he arrived at the palace of  Ajero, Ifa was consulted.  During the consultation, he discovered that Ajero's wife  she  also  have been in labor and she was also having difficulties with the delivery.  Orunmila asked Ajero to offer him ebo with a goat and money and they did it.  Before long, the wife gave birth to a  bouncing baby girl.  As soon as this happened, Orunmila asked permission to  leave and  it was granted.  A few moments after this, the baby began to cry.  uncontrollably.  All efforts to keep her from crying failed.  Ajero  got confused.  He sent the emissary to go and bring Orunmila back.  He gave them  three horses.  He asked them to run quickly to meet  Orunmila before he reaches Ipapo and brings him back.  He gave the emissary  instructions to release one of the horses to Orunmila to return to his palace.  The emissary found Orunmila on the edge of Ipapo village.  He said to him to return to Ijero Ekiti immediately.  He rode one of the horses and they  they came back in a hurry. When he arrived at Ajero's palace, he found total chaos.  All the world  were running around  without knowing what to do. Orunmila consulted Ifa  and it was revealed that  as soon as he had, Orunmila had gone out that they had been calling the  different infantile new names that his Ori had denied.  Orunmila did  understand Ajero that the baby brought a special name from heaven. When Orunmila gave the baby this special name she stopped crying  immediately.  After this Ajero refused to allow Orunmila  return to Ipapo until after two months.  Before Orunmila  returned to Ipapo, many people on earth had start to  complain that was no longer interested in taking proper caution from them.  They complained that  Orunmila preferred to go and function for other people at her expense.  When  Orunmila was put on this allegation he replied that an Awo should never refuse to answer the call of someone who needed his / her service and the  assistance.  He also pointed out to them that there was not the main crisis of  the one that was neglected when he left them and that he always had  endeavored to return to Ipapo at the first opportunity.

It had been happening there.  They had consulted Ifa and they had been advised to move out of his wife's land if they wanted peace and harmony will return to them.  Ifa said they planned to bring her  to the market at  next day, because that was the day that Ifa asked them that they should display her  in the market. When Orunmila heard this, he quickly offered  the prescribed ebo and He mounted  on the horse that Ajero gave him and head to the town of lbariba.  He  arrived there at dawn the next day.  He headed straight to the   market.  When he approached the market, there was no one there.  He waited  impatiently for the market to open. As soon as the market was opened to the public by the Parakoyis, the market officials Orunmila began to move from a position to the  other.  Before long, he saw his wife being brought to the market.  When They saw each other, warned into the wind, and hugged each other. Orunmila told the man that he was bringing his wife to the market in which he  he was interested in buying his back.  The man simply said to  Orunmila to take her out free of charge!  The man was so happy that he had removed problems.  Orunmila and Osunfunmileyo that his wife come back home .
In her turn Osunfunmileyo explained how she was captured very early in the morning throbbed in pulp and forcibly removed nakedly from the house.  She said to  Orunmlla they  wanted to kill her here and now but a certain amount of them said she may be sale  in the market to make money instead of  just wasting instead  her for nothing.  That was how  they decided to sell her completely What did they say she had done?  Osunfunmileyo replied that the  conspirators said Orunmila had abandoned them.  One of his children  he twisted his ankle and they complained that Orunmila was not around to  help them straighten the leg.  That was the only complaint they made against  her and her husband. Orunmila told Osunfunmileyo that it would be wise for them to escape  from Ipapo back then.  At the same time, it would not be wise to in full  day light.  They waited until the night breaks and the two of them move  surreptitiously home.
The next morning, Orunmila ordered for several metal barrels of  Corn beer from the sekete and the Emu, they hide wine in the palm of the hand.  He  He also placed the order for various kolanuts.  When he secured all of these  items, he shipped as all the people from lpapo land, both all  world to come and feast on his  Head towards the target so that he would show you his appreciation for the burial adequate that they provided to his beloved wife.At night, all the inhabitants of the land gathered at home Orunmila.  He thanked them for everything they had done for him in his  absence.  He prayed to Olodumare to please pay them there for the same  way they had done to him.  Neither of them could say "Ase" that he then asked that the party is declared opened.  It  was the leader of the ring  which  declare the party opened.  That was when Osunfunmilayo brought the beer  palm wine , Sekete and kolanuts that the ring leader must use in declaring the  party open up.  All Ipapo land dwellers could not believe their  discernments.  They were all served with kola nuts, sekete and Palm wine.  Neither of them could eat the kola nuts or the drink beer and palm wine. Orunmila implore them that  they should drink and they should eat.  They just couldn't. Then Orunmila asked them;  "What wrong ,did  I do something against you, for you to treat me the way you treated me '?  that none of the  could answer the question.  One by one, they quietly came out on the  shame.  None of them could probe what went wrong.  How did you know Orunmila where was your wife?  Who told?  How did he manage to see through of their plan and their  conspiracy?  After much deliberation, they decide  on  consult Ifa.  They went to the  house of  Babalawo for Ifa consultation:

The Awo replied that Orunmila was not someone's property or possession.  He said that Orunmila was free to go wherever he likes and in any time he wanted.  The Awo got mad at them when they continued arguing.  He told them that he had originally intended to  follow them in going and attract Orunmila to please forgive them but the way they were arguing, he wouldn't follow them anymore.  He chased them away from his home and  He told them to go and face the consequence of their actions.  That was  when the elders and youth of Ipapo realized that until  now they had been arguing blindly.  They turned to the Awo for follow them in pleading with Orunmila, the Awo agreed after much persuasion. When they reached Orunmila head towards the target, they began to implore.  The  Awo led the elders and youth representatives to  home of Orunmila.  They began to beg him.  They all fell down.  The Awo did not give  Orunmila the opportunity to say anything.  He tell  Orunmila that they had narrated everything that took place for him and had been found guilty.  After much pleading, Orunmila forgave them.
It didn't end there.  Everything they did to  Orunmila, the  Oba was not  informed.  When he heard what happened, he called the whole town to his  palace;  Including Orunmila.  He asked them to tell their stories. They made.  The elders and youth of lpapo began their blind discussions  again.  They were again found guilty.  The Oba was in particular  furious with the elders that he accused  them of misleading youths.  The Oba  said that the elders did not give correct leadership .  He made the request  so that they are severely punished.  Orunmila however implored him to forgive them  and the matter was decided amicably.

This was Ifa's message to the Blind
Going to beg alms in Hausa land
He was knowledgeable to offer ebo
 There was popular  blind man known  for his style of begging.  He never begged  someone to give him  alms.  He would simply say to someone he finds, 'If you would do well, you do that for yourself; And if you are evil, you  do it for yourself. '  He used to make a difficult trip from town to town  another, from one town to another and from one house to the next, begging for alms. many people usually don’t give attention  to this Blind because they considered  his style of begging  as a great insult  to their individual and collective personality .  Unknown to the Blind, however, was the fact that the  Oba of  Hausa considered the blind man's style of pleading so irritating and absurd. The reason was because people were saying  what the blind man said was  highly philosophical and so  wise that the saying had no business coming out from  the  mouth of a beggar and a blind man at that!  The Oba considered that it was  only him, his royal family member alone  and his Council of Chiefs who had the  right and the privilege to make philosophical statements .. He consequently concluded that the blind man would be taught a bitter lesson than others people would learn.  Around the clock, Oba called his best hunter to get a  live cobra for him.  Within two days, this item was obtained.  The live cobra that  the hunter got was very big and crazy.  The Oba ordered him to  pocket the cobra.  This was done.  On the afternoon of that day, the blind man came as  always and the Oba presented this 'gift' to the bling man.  When the  Blind man excitedly purse, he thought it was a pangolin.  He was very  joyous And to show his appreciation, the blind man declared;
bi o se ire
o se fun ara a re
Bi o si s´ika

The blind man threw the 'gift' on his shoulder and continued begging for alms.  While he  He was going home  and retired from his begging that day. , he found Aremo, the heir to the throne .   Arema was angry that the blind had received a  gift for his father.  Because evil begets evil, the father's evil was  also in the son.  The Aremo could see no reason why the blind man should  retain this gift.  Out of anger, he moved the gift from the blind, gave him Three heavy slaps on the face and she snatched the 'gift' from him.  In his reaction,  the blind man declared: Bi o se e re, o see fun ra a re, Bi o si se ka, o se e fun araa  re ", and he came out. As soon as the blind man was out of sight, Aremo decided to examine the  gift that the blind man carried about.  He dipped his hand inside the bags and look at it!  the cobra bite  him and poured all the poison that  had accumulated for three days during the time it had been held in captivity in the hand of the Aremo.  The Aremo screamed uncontrollably, People run in  a hurry to  the site, they saw the cobra and killed it.  Except before assistance could be given to Aremo he had died.  His lifeless body was then taken to the palace.  When the Oba heard about what happened he remembered the saying of the blind man. The dirty conscience could not allow him to raise his hand against the blind man.

By going to heaven to learn wisdom
He was well informed to propose to Ebo
Orunmila lived peacefully with his wife Osunfunnleyo in Ile-Ife is wife  involved a seven-mouth pregnancy when Orunmila tried for  go to heaven to go and learn the wisdom of the elderly.  He went to the Awo  previously mentioned that the consultation for Ifa determines how his  trip would be  in  heaven.  The Awo advised Orunmila to go and that his trip would have a lot  success and profitable.  Three days after this, Orunmila settle out  on his journey.  It took him three years to reach the heaven  gate.  When he managed to get there, he  He went directly to the committee of greatest sages in heaven.  When asked  what he came, he replied that he had come to learn the wisdom of the greater.  They demanded a lot and received nine bags of Orunmila cowries. The next day Orunmila began her studies.  This first lesson was taught 'Bi affefe ba nfe, ma duro l´abe igi "when the wind is strong, don’t   stay under a tree. '  He was trained to repeat this a thousand times a day.  He was also instructed to search for a thousand meanings of this statement.  He was directed to gain meaning a day for a thousand days to complete  the thousand different meanings for which he was instructed to look.  Orunmila agreed and did as he was trained.  This research will  took three years to complete.  He then returned to the committee of wise men  in the heaven.  Putting himself there, he told them that he had completed the assignment. congratulated and asked to get a rooster to feast the greatest wise men to  celebrate his success.  Orunmila obeyed and told them that he wanted to learn more.  They they taught him "B'odo ba kun, ma woo" meaning "If the river is full until  the edge, don't swim in it. "He was then instructed to repeat this a thousand times by day and find a thousand senses as instructed above for a thousand days.  Is  research also took more than three years to complete.  After the completion, Orunmila went to the committee to report back to them.  They congratulated him  and asked him to get a ram to feast the  wise elders in order to celebrate success.  He obeyed and told them that he wanted to learn  plus.  At this stage, they taught him "Ma binu ojo kan"  never get mad on any matter without proper deliberation or in a hurry .The greatest sages also instructed him as they have done before.  Orunmlla obeyed and this also took him three years to complete.  Starting thereafter, he returned to them the report of their investigation.  Watching her report, the greatest sages congratulated him on his success and asked him to kill a cow to make a feast for the elderly.  He obeyed.  They said to him that their studies had been completed and they had asked to go home.  On his way back to the world the journey was supposed to take three years.  He was however returning in the company of two great personalities and his  entourage.  These personalities are 'Meduugu olowo orun, The rich man in the  earth and Meduugu olowo orun, the rich man in heaven. '  Each one of them was  accompanied by 200 entourage carrying belongings the wealthy men were going  to use on earth.
One afternoon, they suddenly found out that there was a turbulent wind to compete with. The entourage therefore decided to stay somewhere to allow the wind goes out.  They all looked for a safe place to hide from the  wind effect.  Meduugu olowo aye however decided to stay under a large banyan tree.  Orunmila immediately remembered that one of the  teachings that he had come to learn in heaven was "Bi afefe ba nfe,  ha ha l` abe igi ", meaning if the wind blows turbulently,  stay under the tree. '  He then came to Meduugu olowo aye and advised that he  leave where he was because it could be very dangerous to stay there. Meduugu olowo aye however assumed that it was perfect to stay there, and it was not his first time staying under a tree where there was a strong wind.  All efforts to deter Meduugu olowo aye from staying under the tree were fell on deaf ears.  Finally, he was left alone to stay there.  A few moments after this, the wind grew stronger, so strong that  uprooted one of the branches of the tree.  When the tree branch fell, it hit  Meduugu olowo aye on the head, smashed his head and killed him on the spot.  Immediately after this, the pandemonium erupted Orunmila managed to  restore normality and also made arrangements for the burial.  He even presented one  of his  dresses for burial.  Meduugu Olowo was given a burial  convenient under the supervision of Orunmila.  A few days later, they continued their journey together with the entouraged of  Meduugu olowo aye.  They reached the river on the edge of the sky that they had to cross.  There was heavy precipitation(rain fall) and it made the river to be full at the border.  The seasonal pattern in the sky was three months of precipitation without stop and three months of non-stop dry season.  Orunmila recalled the second lesson 'B'odo ba kun, ma  woo ”" 'when a river is full to the brim, don't try to cross it. Orunmila  therefore I instruct all people (402) including him who goes to earth not to  cross the river due to strong current.  He advised that they wait for three months before the current could sink them.  He concluded that
It would be very dangerous to cross the river then.  Meduugu Olowo Orun thoughts  I wouldn't accept any of that.  He was in a hurry to reach the earth.  He knew  that they would need three years to move to earth.  He therefore couldn't see any reason why he should wait three long months before  that he could go on his journey.  He then decided to cross the river.  All the advises given   fell on deaf ears. When he got in the middle of the river, he lost his step and the current of the river  swepp him  away and he fell into the river.  The river then swept him out of sight Other entourage then waited for three months for the water level to drop before the  river crossing.  After three months, they saw the decomposed body of  Meduugu Olowo Orun among the roots of some river plants.  Orunmila took one of his caps, tore off some leaves and put on the cap for the rites  burial site of Meduugu Olowo Orun.  They then gave him a burial land next to the river that is convenient .  From that day one If some one die died inside the river, they are buried next to the river and given the  same rites that Orunmila performed above.  Thereafter they circulated, the entire entourage that came with Meduugu  Olowo aye and  Meduugu Olowo Orun said that they don't know anywhere or anybody in the  Earth.  Therefore, they decided to go with Orunmila who had shown the  love  as their teachersdelivered all the wealth to his house   Finally, they got down to earth and headed towards the house of  Orunmila.  By this time Orunmila arrived home, it was already late at night.  He  entered his house and to his surprise he found two people sleeping and  he wondered who could sleep with his wife.  'Could this woman sleep  around with men in his absence?  Orunmila thought and was furious until  the point that he decided to slaughter two of them now that he had grabbed her  flagrant.  Suddenly he remembered the third lesson he learned over three  years during his course of study while in heaven "Má binu Kan eye "sense: never get mad without proper deliberation and investigation of no matter.  As a result, he decided to calm down and wait until  next morning before he could take any action.
In the morning when the wife saw Orunmila she was glad to see  her husband and immediately called her boy 'Awosoro come and greet her father;  he has arrived'.  At the same moment, Orunmila realized that the person that he saw last night who slept together in the same room with his wife was  really his  son.  What would have happened if he had killed him  in  the  midnight?  The thought troubled Orunmila's mind, and he said to him that  It would have been a tragedy for him if he had done so.  He then ordered that
the 400 entourage will bring into the house all the wealth and possession that he inherited from
Meduugu Olowo aye and Meduugu Olowo Orun.  Orunmila became lucky and  prosperous and sang like this:

Ifa advises the person for whom this Odu is revealed to offer ebo with  one mature goat and money.  He / she is also expected to feed Esu  After this, he / she has to put his / her faith and  fear in Olodomare in all his / her thoughts, speeches and actions.  In  this, a stanza in Otura Meji says:
Ìgbònwó méjèèjí ni o seé gb`agbon s`ájà

Tíí s`erú Olódùmaré agòtún

This was Ifa's message to Alukandi
 Olodumare's messenger
Coming from Orun (heaven) to ayé (earth)
They advised him to offer ebo
Alukandi was one of many Olodumare messengers.  He is  usually send  to deliver special messages to the human race regularly.  Everyone  delivered  these messages to. He  had delivered without any fault and also without putting the  fundamental reason in doubt behind them.  Alukandi's attitude had  made  him   loved by  many Irunmole in Heaven.  Whenever there was any  message to be delivered, Irunmole would quickly suggest the name of  Alukandi to Olodumare.  They would send him then, and the message would be delivered so  As soon as possible.  During the course of delivering Divine messages to human beings, Alukandi came  to realize that there was great love and affection for human beings living on earth  by Olodumare as much as Irunmole Alukandi couldn't understand why this  should be;  it was not this that the same human beings kill, mutilate, do  harm and destroy each other at the slightest opportunity?  Because While Olodumare been in love with those who destroy the environment;  pollute the air and water;  they kill insects, rats, fish, birds and beasts at   Will;  war against each other for no justifiable reason that  show supremacy to each other?  Why should Olodumare be  in love with those who were not in love with Him;  who disrespect  to him and his Irunmole and who had not shown any remorse?  At first, all of these stunned Alukandi.  They later turned the  confusion for him.  In his confused state of mind, he was determined to punish them  for all that he perceived for this bad behavior of the human race.  When the time came for Alukandi to go to earth to deliver the  message to Olodumare, he saw this as the opportunity that he had to  take advantage of the deal to the fatal blow on all humans  ungrateful.  When he came to his assignment, he asked for special powers and  his request was granted.  On his way, he decided that he would show no mercy to anyone;  why  should  he show compassion to those who destroy Mother Nature at  Will?  He concluded within him that they did not deserve his compassion or  piety.  The day he arrived on earth was a market day.  As soon as you set foot  on earth, He  declare:

 Behold, here comes Àlùkándí, Àlùkándí

 Àlùkándì !!!!!
Before anyone could realize what was happening, Àlùkandì released the  special  power given to him in heaven and started killing everyone in the market.  Pandemonium everywhere.  Each one ran for his life!  Nobody really could  explain what goes wrong.  The next day, people came to choose the  corpses of their loved ones for burial.  Uncertainty enveloped the  world.  They all got together in small groups to make  sense of what had just happened.  They could not.  At last they .They approached the Oba, which in turn set a general meeting to take place in the  market on the next market day  During the designated day, the entire market square was packed on the brink.  Those who lost their loved ones were  first gave the opportunity to  talk.  While they were expressing their ordeals and agony, Àlùkándí arrived and  stated:
Emi Àlùkándí, Àlùkándí
Èyí tó bá wù mí ni n ó pa
Àlùkándí!!!

 Behold, here I come Àlùkándí
whoever I want I'm going to kill
 Àlùkándí
The entire market instantly dispersed.  Each led the jump.  Many  were killed by Àlùkándí himself, many more were trampled on the death.  In total, more than a quarter of  the population died.  From that time on, a regular event was held every  market.  No one dared to go to the market anymore.  Chaos and anarchy took over completely.  No one wanted to go in the day, talk less about the night time. Anyone who wanted to live long needed fear of Àlùkándí. One day, some elders got together and together they went for the consultation of Ifa determine exactly what was going on and at the same time find a  permanent solution for it. The Awo told the elders that what occurred  was the misuse of power and opportunity.
They were told that Àlìkándí believed that he could fight for Olodumare and Irunmole. The   Awo Olòdùmarè and Irunmole do their fights when the time was right and appropriate.  He assured them further that Àlùkándí would surely fail because he did not sent him on his assignment.  He advised that the elder to  offer ebo with a mature goat and money.  After this he said to them feed Èsù òdàrà with  a large rooster.  The elders obeyed  immediately.  As soon as the ebo was offered, èsù Òdàrà submitted a request to heaven  and complained about this Àlùkándí  who had been misusing the  special power given to him.  He said it had unspeakable havoc ruining the land.  He  insisted that only the withdrawal of that power would do .  Olódùmaré sent another  Irunmolè to go and investigate what Esù Òdàrà had said.  They confirmed  all his reports and the special power given to Àlùkándí was withdrawn.  Unknown to Àlùkándí that he has lost his special power, he was busy  planning his  adventure for the next market day.  Esù òdàrà was the one who gather  people to  oppose to  Àlùkándí during the  next market day.  Èsù Òdàrá assured people that their  arch enemy  had no power to ruin any havoc on them.  He told them to stay  firm. During the market day, Àlùkándí came as expected.  As soon as  he came stated:
Emi Àlùkándí, Àlùkándí
Èyí tó bá wù mí ni n ó pa
Àlùkándí!!!
Translation
 Behold, here I come Àlùkándí

 Àlùkándí !!!!
Instead of panic, Àlùkándí found the resolute people .  Instead of fear, he found courage.  They all responded in harmony, saying:
Ìwo Àlùkándí, Àlùkándí
Ìwo kíí bèèrú Olórun
Àlùkándí!!!
Translation
 Behold, you àlùkándí
You have no fear of God deep down
 Àlùkándí
Àlùkándí was  surprised.  He did not listening to them, but   Instead, he saw that she had no power to do anything.  The next thing that he saw were the people who tied his  hands and legs together.  He was abruptly returned to heaven from where he came.  When he arrived, he did not  allowed to return to earth, again.

He who eewo (taboos), destroyed his destiny
They advised him to offer ebo
Eselu-mogbe was initiated  in Ifa.  During his Ìtèlódù Otura-Meji was revealed as his  Odu.  Furthermore, Oba ljado had Otura-Meji as his own Odu during their Ikosèdáyé With all the promises of this Odu, they both had  too little to show in terms of achievement.  Conversely, they had stories lengths of misfortune to count.  Their lives had no meaning to them anymore.  When Oba ìjádó wanted to start a company, he organized a group of his friends together.  They started contributing money, and the money was given to  one of them to start the business.  The friend became instantly lucky.  The next month, the same amount was contributed and given to another friend and this  friend was also successful.  There were twenty of them in this monthly company.  As the organizer, the Oba hoped that ìjádó would collect his own money next . Twenty months later, when it was his own turn, all his friends  they disappeared.  They left him in the cold.  He prayed and fasted, all in vain.  To along side of this unwelcome experience, he lost three of his daughters in fast succession .  These daughters were his favorite boys and they took after his  mother anyway.  They even decided to do the work themselves  that his mother did.  This was done by Oba Ìjádó to be very proud of them.  But why should these lovely and obedient children die just like this? '  he sk.  He concluded that it must be the work of his enemies or the Elders of the night.
In Eselu-Mogbe's case, he had changed his job several times and yet, he had no  success.  He was convinced that he was better than most of his  friends in total life departments.  He used to tell his friends.  The biggest  part of his friends were more successful than him.  This led to drunkenness excessive to 'drink from their sorrows.  His wife and children abandoned him when he he became an alcoholic.  He lied freely in the hope that he could use  such lies to cover up some of their weaknesses.  This only brought  shame and hate.  He concluded that his imaginary enemies were in the  job  and vowed to avenge.  He tried to destroy the achievements of his imaginary enemies and he  was caught.  They gave him the hit of his life.  One day both Eselu-Mogbe and Oba Ìjádó met.  They quickly  they realized they had a lot in common;  They both had stories of  misfortune and calamities to them were both unsuccessful;  both were moving from the grace to the grass;  they were both mocked in their various  communities;  life became worthless to both.  They were then tied to  the common obligation of punishment.  When Oba sanded, Eselu-Mogbe said that his  parents tell him that Otura-Meji was revealed during his Ikosedaye, Eselu-  Mogbe replied that Odu himself was revealed during his own Itelodu Que  it was when they both knew that their misfortune was not a mere coincidence. Very early one day, Eselu-Mogbe went to the house "Eye nsunkún eji 'to  Ifa consultation.  The Awo told him that his misfortune had nothing to do with work  from bad people or witches.  He ran from Babalawo's house of anger.  He was fully convinced that his enemies were  really at work against him.  He called Oba Ìjádó his friend and explained this to him. They both reflected on it and both decided to go to another Babalawos for separated and returned home to compare the information they had gathered. Oba Ijado went to "Opo gbe` buule o derinmi "and Eselu-Mogbe went to" Okan soso  omo` kun or bo sinu okun or mo roro "for the Ifa consultation: What were the causes of his misfortune in life?  Could they beat all of these problems?  Did they still have a chance of succeeding in life? The Two Awo told them that they had been getting into those things that  their destinies forbade.  Consequent on this, all your misfortunes and  pains had been self-inflicted.  The Awo separately assured them of this if they  could avoid afflicting the taboos in their Odu, they put the possibility of  stop all misfortunes, erasing them from their lives and advance.  In the case of Eselu-  Mogbe, they asked him if he remembered the taboos that were listed for him  to avoid.  He replied that he couldn't remember any.  When "Opo gbe `buule or derinmi" asked Oba Ijado if he could remember his own taboos.  He replied that his parents never told him that he had either. "Okan soso Omo o bo sinu okun o mo roro" gave Eselu-Mogbe sixteen (16)  taboo and the consequences of breaking them.  They gave the same taboos to Oba Ijado for "Opo gbe` buule o derinmi "These taboos are:
 1. No Otura-Meji children should take part in any form of the  financial contribution, economy or Cooperative this should avoid being  cheated or cheated
2. They should avoid eating the squirrel to avoid exposing yourself to enemies and  conspirators.
 3. They  should never brag or brag to avoid being destroy  by enemies.
 4. They  should never take part in excessive alcoholic drink to avoid  working  against their  destiny.
 5. They should never take part in arguments to avoid attracting the negative aura and  spirituality to them ..
 6. Their  daughters should never take part in the same job as their mother to  avoid  losing them in rapid succession.
 7. They should not change the job at will to avoid ruin their destiny
 8. They never  never avenge to avoid inflicting further pain on their self .
 9. The  should never show evil to avoid being turned against by their community   community.
 10. They  should never lie to avoid being ridiculed in public.
 11. They should never fast or skip meals to avoid working against their   destiny .  (Otura-Meji children who take part in the fast will never be  able to achieve their goals in life)
 12. They  should never be envious of other people's success to avoid Public  hatred .
 13. They  should not place too much emphasis on their rights to avoid  confrontations with the Elders of the Night.
 14. They should never be selfish to avoid losing everything he had gained in  lifetime.
 15. They  should avoid using the Opeere bird to avoid missing out on great opportunities in the life.
 16. They should never use any part of the araba tree to avoid being disqualified from assumption of command positions.
When they both returned home, they compared the information they had  received.  No one had to tell them before they known  what  had  caused their  downfall.  They also realized that their  life is  completely left in their  hands.

The most important thing1 according to the stanza above is to first examine  ourselves before making false accusations on others.  Is better  first determine whether or not the cause of our misfortune may be traced back to our wrongs before we start accusing witches,  magicians, enemies and conspirators.  More often than not, these 'enemies'
