In this current work Babalawo Obanifa will reveal and document one of the spiritual chants/prayer available in Africa Spirituality that can be used to spiritually deliver an individual from the spirits of prostitution, promiscuity and sexual sins. There are many people both male and female that are under the bondage of sexual sin such promiscuity and prostitution. By prostitution within the context of this work I am referring to the act or practice of engaging in promiscuous sexual relations especially for money. Whenever prostitution is been discussed the mind of people and attention is usually on woman. But in real life situation men and women engage in prostitution. There is no need to be gender discriminatory about it. Anybody who offer sexual intercourse in exchange for pay is a prostitute. Prostitution is simply the practice or occupation of engaging in sexual activity with someone for payment. Any act of casual sexual intercourse in exchange for money is prostitution. So Prostitution, is the practice of engaging in relatively indiscriminate sexual activity, in general with someone who is not a spouse or a friend, in exchange for immediate payment in money or other valuables. Prostitutes may be female or male or transgender, and prostitution may entail heterosexual or homosexual activity, but historically most prostitutes have been women and most clients men. While Promiscuity is the practice of engaging in sexual activity frequently with different partners or being indiscriminate in the choice of sexual partners.^[1] The term can carry a moral judgment if the social ideal for sexual activity is monogamous relationships. A common example of behavior viewed as promiscuous by many cultures is the one-night stand, and its frequency is used by researchers as a marker for promiscuity. So it therefore follow that a person may be promiscuous and not been a prostitute.  But both constitute sexual sin. Each and it causes will be explain in seriatim

Type of prostitution

Street

The prostitute solicits customers while waiting at street corners and park and walking alongside a street. It is serviced in side streets, vehicles, or short stay premises (Kambiz Akhavan 2005).

Escort

Clients contact sex worker directly by phone or via hotel staff. It is relatively expensive because of low client turnover. Services are provided at client’s home or hotel room (Kambiz Akhavan 2005).

Sex tourism

Sex tourism is trips organized from within the tourism sector, or from outside this sector but using its structures and networks, with the primary purpose of effecting a commercial sexual relationship by the tourist with residents at the destination (World Tourism Organization n.d.). Author Nils Ringdal (2004) stated that three out of four men which are between the ages of 20 and 50 who have visited Asia or Africa have paid for sex. Nils fail to mention that women also do this. The truth is that women also do it.

Other types of prostitution

Prostitution can be demand through various media including noticeboard, magazines, newspaper advertisements, ‘sex worker catalogues’ with mobile phone numbers and the internet via virtual brothels. Services are delivered mostly in brothels and other indoor venues such as apartments (Kambiz Akhavan 2005).

Though Kambiz Akhavan 2005 is extensive on type of prostitution, he fails to include Employer -Employee medium of prostitution where boss sleep with their staff, subordinate, or even domestic staff in exchange for money or certain favor.

Causes of prostitution

Causes of Prostitution May either be  Physical Or Spiritual

Physical Factors:

Poverty and unemployment

Poverty and unemployment are seeming to be the main reason where woman will choose to enter the industry of prostitution. Hagan and McCarthy (1997) measured the relationship of prostitution to a number of background factors, including age, gender, unemployment, hunger, shelter, number of times left home, length of time on street and street friends arrested. They found that unemployment and lack of shelter were the more influential predictors of entering into street prostitution.

Woman has been tricked into prostitution

Most of the women who are lived in rural society earn lower income compared to women in urban areas. They are often tricked into prostitution with guarantees of decent job opportunities in the city or abroad. Therefore, they are attracted to the job in the city offered by the middleman. There is also a possibility where they are kidnapped and are then forced to work as prostitutes (Harvard style 2008).

Family expectation and problem

Women in particular are pressured to pay for their sibling’s education or support a sick family member. Other aspects such as dysfunctional families or constant sexual abuse from parents have lead adolescents to leave their home. Running away is often a survival or defence mechanism that follows sexual abuse, and sexual abuse is a factor commonly present among prostitutes. Nadon, Koverola and Schudermann (1998) found that 68% of female prostitutes in their sample experienced childhood sexual abuse (p. 214). Foti (1994) compared children who had and had not been sexually abused, and determined that the participants who were sexually abused as children were twice as likely to become prostitutes.

Careless parental care

In order to provide a better education for children, parents often send their children to other countries and let them rent cheap rooms. As a result, they are exposed to male predators. Idleness after school and the absence of parents guiding them through their homework causes the youth to spend their time outside the house. In the process, there is a possibility where they will discuss things including making easy money, sex and women (Joseph Mulopi, Redemptor Atieno, Godfrey Rugumayo, Mary Nakirya & Ednah Karamagi 2009)

Causes of promiscuity

• Being raised in a household where sex was taken lightly or not included in education
• Too much exposure, or too little exposure to sex during one's early years
• Traumatic experiences early on with the opposite sex
• Intense loneliness in life and desire to be accepted
• Being too trusting-or falling for guys too easily
• Trying to make up for other problems in life-financial, loss of job, etc.
• Drug abuse some men or women lose control of their sexual libido when they are high on drug like concaine,heroine and alcohols.

Preparation

You will grind the leaves together to fine paste . You will use it to cook the two snails add little shea butter. Use Iyerosun to imprint Odu Ifa  Obara Odi thus:

Translation

Obara cover your buttock

This awo of women

Who sleep with every women he encounter

She was warn that there is danger in her act

That her act was not profitable

She was advised to offer ebo

She complied

She offer ebo with snail

Two pegion

And eso leaves

She was free from Ajogun.

You will pour it on the preparation and give it to the woman to eat after cooking.
