SPIRITUAL CLEANSING FROM
SPIRITS OF REJECTION (AWE-OKUTA DANU) BY BABALAWO OBANIFA -Obanifa extreme Documentaries
In this current work Babalawo
Obanifa will document one of the potent spiritual formula available in
African Spirituality that can be used for spiritual cleansing of an individual
from the spirits of rejection. The formula for this purpose that will be
document in this work is known as (Ose Awe-okuta Danu). By spirit of
rejection within the context of this work. I am referring to the attitudes and
actions of others either real or simply perceived as real that signal to us
that we are not worthy, but are worthless. Going by literal dictionary meaning
of rejection, it defines rejection as “ an act of throwing
away or discarding someone or something’’ which implies lack of value on
the part of the thing or person thrown away . The reverberating effects of rejection is to make
the victims feel that he/she is not accepted or simply not value. Been rejected
will make such individual feel valueless or worthless. When an individual
become victim of spirits of rejection. He /she will start to experience
abandonment, hatred without cause, victim of use and dump. The effect of
rejection is to sink the ship of the life of the victims. When an individual
become a victim of spirit of rejection his /her joy in life become scuttle and adulterated,
the future will become dark to him/her because he /she will be in state of perpetual
loss and hopelessness.
Because of this
devastating effect of spirit of rejection on it victim. The wicked people such
as witches and evil medicine men have always result to invoke the spirit of
rejection to afflicts the life of their prospective targeted victims. The enemies in their strategy against their victim
can employ spirit of rejection and abandonment to wound the life of their prospective
victim. The worst part of it is that anybody who have fall victims of spirits
of rejection will find it difficult to maximize and utilize his/her God-giving potential. In Yoruba spiritual parlance
the elder refer to spirits of rejection as Ami Okuta. The evil people
can use it attack the business ,
occupation , or personal life of their victim with Okuta . When the business or
Occupation of an individual is under attack from spirit of rejection. The
elders will say won da Okuta si Igba
tabi oja eniyan- that is the
enemies have attack the business or work of such person with spirit of
rejection. In such instance the business will not suffer lack or patronage. The evil people can attack the physical body
of their victim with the spirit of rejection, in such instance, the elders
will say won da Okuta sile aye eni na (
that is the life of that person has been affected by spirit of rejection).
How Can Someone know that his/her life is under the attack of spirits of Rejection?
There are various symptom
that can give an individual an inkling that his/her life is already under the attacks spirits of Rejection. Some of those symptoms
are:
1. Constant feeling of abandonment – This is when an individual feel that he/she is
been abandoned unjustifiably by people whose interaction will be beneficial
to his/her life .For people in business such as contractor or those that own store
or shop that operate one business or the other, They may begin to sense that
they are been abandoned . If it is in relationship the prospective active partners
or friends or even business associates may suddenly abandon the victim.
2. Low self-image-
An individual who has been under intense attack of spirit of rejection can
start to develop low self-image, in most cases some of them result to addictions
and substance abuse (alcohol, drugs, even immoral sexual intercourse) as temporary
relief from the burden of spirit of rejection on their life. Having addictive relationship, Their self-image is based on their acceptance
or rejection of in their interaction.
3. Self-pity-
You see your situation as all bad and others as all good, you will be thinking
that you are the one who have the worst situation in the world. whereas you are
not.
4. Often
feeling misunderstood “people don’t get me”- You always feel you are right
but no body is agreeing with you even when you are right in your opinion or suggestion.
5.
Feeling
inferior - When the people who were supposed to show us love didn’t do so,
then our tendency is to doubt the love of God and we start to feel we are worthless.
We start to engage in act of self-condemning and self-hate . Always explaining yourself
because you feel misunderstood
6. No lasting relationships – You will be finding it difficult to have long
lasting relationship either business, romantic or platonic relationship.
7.
Try to please others without getting desire
result from them
8.
Feeling worthless
9.
fear of rejection almost on anything
10.Approval-seeking
on things you known you are competent about.
11.Depression
without any good reason
12.Experiencing
unrequited love (no love returned)
13. Attention seeking behavior (fabrications
etc) because you feel unworthy
What Cause
Rejection?
There are many ways
that the spirit of rejection can explore to find its ways into some one’s life.
Some of them are:
1. Attack from evil people – I have told you at the beginning of this work that
some people can use the spirit of Okuta to attack the business or of
life of their victim. The result which will make the victim to be under intense
attack of spirit of rejection.
2. Self -Inflicted Cause- This second factor mention is what the elders call Afowofa,
this is when the spirit of rejection is tormenting the person life due to
his/her action or omission which have place him/her under curse.
3. Hereditary – This is known as Ajogunba – that is when
the spirit of rejection syndrome is transfer from one’s parent to the life of
the child. Egun Idile (generational curse)
fall under this category.
Some
Visible and Invisible Consequence Of Spirit of Rejection Attack
These
can still be regard as same thing as the symptoms. They are:
1.
Depression and suicidal
thoughts – An individual suffering from rejection here and there either in
business or relationship will become dull mentally and emotionally and his/her
energy will become sapped. Because when his/her spirit become dull this will
drain such person of his much-needed energy or vitality
2.
Self- Isolation-
An individual who has been a victim of rejection for long will self -isolate.
They isolate in their own fear of been rejected not because people isolate them
3.
Solitary life-loneliness
is major part of resultant effect of spirit of rejection. Since they have self-isolate
loneliness will definitely crawl in.
4. Reluctancy to try
to enter new relationship or approach prospective business prospect out of fear
of rejection.
Solution to the
problems Of Spirit of Rejection
1
Ifa consultation
and ebo- Person experiencing this kind
of problem can adopt mechanism of Ifa consultation and ebo to spiritually
diagnose the causes and equally ascertain the solution to it.
2
Spiritual
cleansing- Person who is under attack of spirit of rejection can undergo
spiritual cleansing. Below is one of the effective formula available in Africa
spirituality for this purpose as document by Babalawo Obanifa.
I .
Preparation
You will pound the
entire aforementioned leaves with soap,
use the water to mix it.
You will use
Iyerosun(Ifa consultation powder) to imprint Odu Ifa Ejiogbe thus :
I I

You will then chant
the following Ifa recitation on it thus:
Enini wele-wele ni

O ba weri mi kuro lowo gbobo Ajogun ibi
Awede Werisa
We ori mi o
Translation:
It is plenty of morning
dew that cleanse the head of Emo(Brown rats)
It is rain droplet
on the leaves that cleanse the head of the Adan (bat)
It is Agemon Ogun
that Cleanse the head of Oloja merindinlogun
This was Ifa’s
message for Erua Odan who will cleanse the head of Onyagbe (the farmer ) from all
the malevolence forces
He was advised to
offer ebo
He heard of the
ebo and complied
Weri-weri come and
cleanse my head
Awede werisa wash
my head
Cleanse me my head
from all the malevolence forces
Awede werisa wash
my head.
You will pour this
inside water collected from the sixteen coconut fruits. You will mix it with
the soap.
Usage
The person
suffering from Okuta (spirit of rejection) will take this to a flowing river or
stream and bath with it with new sponge. The cloth he/she wears to the river including the sponge or
bailer used must be burn and the ashes must be bury.
In some case you
may be in a town or city that have no flowing river or it may be difficult to
find one. You will dig a pit and bathe inside it with the soap. You will bury
the sponge and the bailer inside it,
Third method of usage
available is when you have to access to the two method explain above. You will make
the person to stan inside a big bowl. The
person will take his/her bath there with soap and new sponge. You will flush
the bath water away via your WUC.
White Garment
Churches Modification of this Cleansing Work
With the coming of
white garment churches, the early Prophet and Prophetess in that clime have
come through the back door to obtain some of the knowledge from the African tradition
with so aim of helping their member or prospective client. My research in that clime reveal that have
modified this method of cleansing even in uncompleted format. The format of
modification is in various Sample. I reveal one of the sample in this work.
Ewe Omisinminsin
tutu (Fresh leaves of Abrus Precatorius)
Ewe Afeloru/Ajekobale
tutu(fresh leaves of Croton Zambesicus)
Suga Oniko (Cubes
of Sugar)
Ose Lux (lux soap)
Agbon meje (Seven
Coconut fruits)
Seven blue candles.
Preparation
You will pound the
items together with lux soap. You will
break seven coconut fruit and collect it
water while you surround the bowl that contain the coconut water with seven blue candle . You
will light the candles and recite Psalm 18, Psalm 59, Psalm 94 and psalm 144 on
it. You will use the water to mix the soap. In Celestial churches or even
cherubim and seraphim there are places call Ile Annu (holy land/scared
land-land of mercy ) .NB. They are the one designated such place for such
purpose nothing special about it. That
is where the remnant of the blue candle use will be bury.
Usage
You can tell the
prospective person you want to conduct cleansing for to fast for that day, some
prophet will even be making to be fasting for some day preceding the day that
the cleansing will be conduct for you. You can assign some of the previously mention
Psalm for the person to read during this period.
The Person will go
and bath in the river with the soap. After this some prophet or prophetess may
make you stay around the premises of the churches for some days, all these are
formality.
NB : the candle ,the fasting and staying around the premises
of the church are formality and window dressing for the work . Not doing did
not affect the efficacy of the work.
This I jus one of
the various samples of the modification.
Modification By
Muslim cleric popular called Alfa/Afaa or Alaafa
The Muslim clerics
have their own modification. I will also show one sample of it. In my part of
the world here In Yoruba land, The Muslim cleric will called it Ise or
Asiri(the secret). But it nothing but slight modification of tradition
spiritual preparation. They will use the traditional item whether in it complete
but in most cases in incomplete and unprofessional manner and add some Arabic prayer
which they called Tira to it to market
it. Here is sample of one of the modification of this formula by Muslim
clerics.
Ewe Ireke tutu (
fresh leaves Of Sugar cane Sccharium Officinarium)
Ewe Iyeye tutu (Fresh
leaves of Hogplum leaves/ Spondia Membin)
Ewe Omisinminsin
tutu (Fresh leaves of Abrus Precatorius
Ewe Oriji(fresh
leaves of Africa Myrh)
Preparation
You will pound it together
with soap.
NB. Most Alfa/Afaa,
Muslim cleric cannot identify these leaves as most of them depend on leaves
seller to obtain it.So most do use dry leave they buy.
You
will write Ayat ul kursi,Surah
AL-BAQARAH ,VERSE 255
on a parchment paper , some Muslim cleric still use board known as Wahala
dudu as well for this purpose.
'A 'oothu billaahi
minash-Shaytaanir-rajeem. Allaahu laa 'ilaaha 'illaa Huwal-Hayyul-Qayyoom, laa

thai-lathee yashfa'u 'indahu 'illaa bi'ithnih, ya'lamu maa bayna 'aydeehim wa
maa khalfahum, wa laa yuheetoona bishay'im-min 'ilmihi 'illaa bimaa shaa'a,
wasi'a kursiyyuhus samaawaati wal'ardh, wa laa ya'ooduhu hifdhuhumaa, wa Huwal-
'Aliyyul- 'Adheem
Translation:
I seek refuge in Allah from Satan the outcast. - Allah! There is
none worthy of worship but He, the Ever Living, the One Who sustains and
protects all that exists. Neither slumber nor sleep overtakes Him. To Him
belongs whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth. Who is he that
can intercede with Him except with His Permission? He knows what happens to
them in this world, and what will happen to them in the Hereafter. And they
will never encompass anything of His Knowledge except that which He wills. His
Throne extends over the heavens and the earth, and He feels no fatigue in
guarding and preserving them. And He is the Highest, the Most Great.
It is also the coconut water that
will be use to mix it with soap. The Muslim cleric in this part of the world
will say it is Asiri. There is no any Asiri about it. It is pure traditional
spiritual preparation.
NB: with adding those Arabic window
dressing to it. The formula still works.
