Odidi ijapa ( A whole
tortoise)
Iyere mesan (Nine seeds
of Piper Guinensis)
Ewe Omonigelegele(Fresh
leaves of Cassytha Filliformis )
Ikoko Aseje (small local
clay cooking pot)
Preparation
You prepare the tortoise for
cooking, cut it to sixteen pieces. You will grind Iyere mesan (Nine seeds of
Piper Guinensis),Ewe Omonigelegele(Fresh leaves of Cassytha Filliformis ) to
fine paste. You will pour it on the meats inside the pot , add little palm oil and salt . cook it like
meat pepper soup. The person will eat it. All the bone of the meat will be
collected together and bury in open space.
