Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Ko pe, ko jinna

E wa ba ni ni jebutu ire

Translation:

Let us overlook it and eat the vegetable

This is because all vegetables look like grasses

This was Ifa’s message for Kanjuola

Who was the husband of Kanjuola

They were advised to offer ebo

They complied

Before long, not too far

Join us in the midst of all ire of life



2.

Ifa says that it foresees success and accomplishment for this person outside his/her locality that he/she plans to go. Ifa warns this person not to eat where he/she is going. It is advisable for this person to take along with him/her the food that he/she will eat where he/she is going. He should offer ebo with  two guinea fowls, and money. One of the two guinea fowls will be slaughtered and this person will be given one lap, one wing and the breast of the guinea fowl to take along on the trip for consumption. On this Ifa says:

Ita gbangba laa je awodi

Eni ti iba je’gun

Nbe l ‘alade orun

Dia fun Aridegbe

Ti nloo won iyo wa’ le aye

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

Translation:

It is in the house that we consume the hawk 

And we consume the eagle outside in the open

He who dared to consumed the vulture

The person is in heaven

This was Ifa’s message for Aridegbe

When going to heaven to return

He was going to buy table salt and bring back to earth

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

Where the dwarf cow is sold for only 200 cowries 

And they add two female sheep as bonus

I was offered the flesh of the vulture





I refused to eat

I ate the flesh of the guinea fowl instead

Ifa says that it foresees the ire of child bearing for a woman here where this Odu is reveal. Ebo should be offer with the following:one pack of tobacco leaves, two hens and money. On this Ifa says:

Ofun mu taba nturu-nturu

Ofun mu taba nturu-ntuye

Dia fun Olukoti

Omo a-gun-aran Ogodi nitori omo

 Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

 Ko pe, ko jinna

E wa ba ni ni jebutu omo

Jebutu omo ni a n a bani lese ope

Translation:

Ofun consumed tobacco with joy

Ofun consumed tobacco with satisfaction

This was Ifa’s message for Olukoti

She who offered tobacco leaves as ebo for child bearing

She was advised to offer ebo

She complied

Before long, not too far

Join us in the midst of many children

It is in the midst of children

Ifa says that it foresees the ire of child bearing for a woman in need of this blessing.  She should offer  with: two parrot tail feathers (ikodide), two hens and money.The woman will use one ikodide  and one hen to feed Osun. On this Ifa says:

Inu ni o run’mo

Ko fi de gbongbolo itan

Ooyi ni o kun’mo ni’badi ranyin-ranyin

Dia fun Aridegbe

Omo arikoo b’Osun nitori omo

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Ko pe, ko jinna

E wa ba ni ni jebutu omo

Jebutu omo la n beni lese obarisa  

Translation 

A child cannot feel the pain of stomach ache In the region of his thigh 

A child cannot feel dizziness in area of his waist

This was Ifa’s message for Aridegbe

She who has ikodide to feed Osun in order to beget a baby

She was advised to offer ebo

She complied

Before long, not too far

Join us in the midst of many children

It is in the midst of amany children you will meet us at the base of Ope

Ifa advises this person to offer the ebo of prosperity and at the same time, offer the ebo of longevity. Ifa says that as there is prospect of success, so also is there problem of premature death. Again, wherever he/she goes, he/she must not eat there. He/she must make provisions for his/her food before leaving the house. He should offer ebo with :two guinea fowls, one female sheep and money. One guinea fowl will be used to feed Ifa.the lap of the guinea fowl will be given to this person together with eko, corn meal for consumption. On this Ifa says:

Ile laa j’asa

Ode gbangba laa j’awodi

Eni yoowu to je’gun

 O d’ode orun gbako-gbako

Dia fun Aridegbe

Ti nr’ orun Atuba

Ti nlo ree won Ileke

Translation:

It is in the house that we consume the hawk

They were only weeping over themselves 

And lamenting over their plight

That was why we were buying on credit 

And we were drawing the money with force

When going to transact business where people never returned

Where the sell 20 dwarf cows for 200 cowries 

And the added 40 female sheep as bonus

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied 

Aridegbe, welcome back home

Ifa says that this person, if a man, loves to associate with women so much. He also loves to have love relationship with many women at the same time. He should offer ebo with one she goat and money.He also needs to feed Ifa with another she goat and feed Osun with hen, akara and maize beer. On this Ifa’s says:

Ona to tarara ma ya

Dia fun Orunmila

Ti yoo maa sore Aridegbe 

Aridegbe nloo wo’ lero isu tuntun l’odun

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Nje Aridegbe o, ore mi ni

Imule mi ni

Osun Aridegbe o, ore mi ni

Imule mi ni

Translation:

The straight unbending road

Ifa’s message for Orunmila

Who would be the friend of Aridegbe

When Aridegbe was to celebrate the annual yam festival

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

Now, Aridegbe is my friend

She is my confidant

Osun Aridegbe is my friend 

And she is my confidant

7.

Ifa says that this person must never contemplate separation or divorce from his/her spouse. Both of them were made for each other from heaven. Ifa says that they were both dark skinned in complexion. Separation or divorce will lead to untold hardship and anxiety. He should offer ebo with one she goat and money. On this Ifa say:

Ogongo-ntona

Dia fun Sunnsun-un awo eba ona

Ekun obinrin lo nsun

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Ibi a ba r’o ko laa ri’yawo

 Ogongo-ntona

Translation

Ogongo-ntona

This was Ifa message for Sunnsun-un, the Awo of the Road-side When weeping that he had no woman

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

Wherever we find the husband is where we will find the wife Ogongo-ntona



8.

Ifa urges this person to follow Ifa in all his/her undertakings. Ifa promises that all evil will be blocked out of his/her life and success chances will be created for him/her. He/she should offer ebo with  three pigeons, three guinea fowls, three roosters and money. He/she also needs to feed Ifa with one she goat. This person need to procure Idi  leaves  and pound them with  soap  for bathing. On this Ifa says:

Agija gogoogo awo abe owu

Dia fun Orunmila

Yoo yi’ ta di ’ na iku f ’ omo re

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

 Ifa lo wa d’ ewe oludina t ’ emi

Ona iku ni ki o di

Koo ma ma di’na an t’ ifa

Translation 

Agija Gogoogo, the Awo of the foot of the cotton tree

This was  Ifa’s message  for Orunmila

When going to block the path of death for his children

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

Ifa declared that I now have my own path blocking leaves

 Block the path of death 

And leave open the path of success
