10. Ifa advises person  to offer the ebo of childbearing. Ifa says that all his friend  and the female friends shall receive the blessing of childbearing. Ifa advises him  to offer ebo with one matured pig, two hens, two guinea-fowls and money. Each of the women also needs to feed Ifa with one matured she- goat, one guinea-fowl, eight rats and eight fish. They also need to go and feed Opo, the Pillar as recommended by Ifa. On this Ifa say:

Gbagba too Iroko

Iroko naa gbagba too

Ilee mi o gba Ifa ni dida

Ona eburu ni Ifa a mi i gba

Teku-teku mojale

Dia fun Opo

Ti n sawo lo ile Oniwata-metu

Won ni ko sakaale ebo ni sise

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Nje Opo wo ni nbe

Opo ti ale e fori kan ni ‘Wata

Ti gbogbo aya fin bi beerebe

Translation:

Saa eesu

Saara gede

Gbagba too Iroko

Iroko naa gbagba too

Ifa’s message for Opo, the Pillar

When going on Ifa mission to the home of Oniwata

 Ifa advises this person  to offer the ebo of longevity for someone very close to him. Ifa says that the person being referred to his not living in the same locality where this client is living. Ifa advises this person  to offer ebo with one matured he-goat and money. on this, Ifa says:

Kii kan’gbe

Dia fun Agbe

Tii somoye Olu-Ogogo

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se 

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Oke rere la ngb’ohun Agbe

Agbe o dahun

Translation:

Ifa a matter had not yet become desperate

We do not handle it desperately

Ifa’s message for Agbe the blue turacco

The child of Oluogogo

They were advised to offer ebo for Oluogogo

In order for him not to die young

It is from afar that we were hearing the voice of Agbe

We were calling Agbe but he did not answer

 Ifa says that there is the need for this person to allow those who understand the workings of anything to be the ones who will handle such things. Ifa says is that she should not  use bias or favoritism in give out an assignment to those who do not have a deep knowledge of how to handle it. This may lead to serious crisis. Ifa also warns this person  not to fraudulently acquire an assignment that he/she  do not know much about. Translation

The house fly landed on top of the mortar

She twisted her waist sideways

And twisted her waist round and round

Ifa’s message for those in the household of Olojee

When they were going to contest for the conferment of

a chieftaincy title

That was the day that the slave in the home of Olojee

was claiming to be a biological child of Olojee

The servant of Olojee was claiming that he was a

biological child of Olojee

When Ajibogunde the child of Olojee was claiming to be

the biological child of Olojee

They were all advised to offer ebo

Only Ajibogunde complied

The slave carved the wood 

But he could not do it successfully

The servant carved the wood 

And could not accomplish his mission

It was the day that Ajibogunde the Aare Oje

Went to carved the wood at Ojigi Owon

The Apa tree is running and making movement

The iroko tree is also making movement

Nobody knows Lagbayi will land

Ajibogunde declares that he will land on the neck of atre

 Ifa says that it foresees the ire of prosperity and success from outside this person  domain. Ifa advises him to go and  present gift to the Sekere drummer. Ebo materials here are three pigeons and money. On this ,Ifa says:

Iwaju Irosun Ngbemi

Eyin Irosun ngbemi

Adunkanadunkan nirosun ngbemo re dojo ale

Dia fun Baba Onikeregbe

Ti nsawo lo salade Oyo

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se 

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Kekere Oyo tale o sin

Baba Onikengbe la o sin

Agba Oyo tale o gbe

Baba Onikengbe la o gbe

Translation

In front Irosun supports me

At my back Irosun supports me

It is with contentment that Irosun support his children till

night time

Ifa’s message for the Sekere drummer

When going on business mission to Oyo town

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

The youth of Oyo whom will you propitiate

It is the Sekere drummer that we shall propitiate

The elders of Oyo whom shall you support

The Sekere drummer is the one that we shall supports

Ifa warns this person against avarice. Ifa says that avarice can lead to his/her  premature death. Ifa advises him  to offer ebo with one matured he-goat and money. He  also need to feed Esu with one giant rooster. The most important warning her is for him/her  to heed to warning of Ifa. On this Ifa say:

Iku kan kii pani o

Okanjua nii paayan

Translation

Onikolo nigbuuwo

The rooster uses his two legs to turn the container of

palm oil upside down

Ifa message for Okanjua, Avarice

Who was the delegate of Iku death

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

No death kills anyone

It is avarice that kills

16. Ifa says that life will be very agreeable and comfortable

for you. You will be very popular round the world. Ifa

advises you to offer ebo with two pigeons, two hens, two

guinea-fowls, two roosters, two ducks, and money. on this,Ifa says:



Ato poro oko ma kaala

Atala agbe ma ka’kan

Dia fun Amoka

Tii somo Olodumare

Oba ateni legelege fori gbeji

Ebo ni won ni ko waa se 

O gb’ebo, o ru’bo

Amoka laa moorun

Amoka laa mosupa

Amoka, amoka ni won nmo’ru awa wonyi ninu Awo

Translation

He who walks the middle of the farm ridge without

harvesting okra

He who treks the boundary of the farmer without

harvesting the garden egg

Ifa’s message for Amoka

He who was known round the world

The child of Olodumare

The Oba whose spread his mat delicately on top of the

ocean

He was advised to offer ebo 

He complied

The sun is known the world over

And the moon is known the world over

We shall be known the world over in our Ifa business.
