You cannot be as expansive as Eji-Ogbe on the Ifa tray

Ifa’s message for Orunmila

When lamenting his inability to receive all ire of life

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

An Awo does not need to pound 

An Awo does not to grind

When an awo wakes up 

He would bath and eat

Ifa advises this person to offer ebo against trouble. He also needs to offer ebo for him/her to have rest and peace of mind. It is a taboo for this person to carry load on his/her head. The ebo materials here are: three roosters, one load carrying pad, one basket of calabash for carrying load and one sandal and money. on this, Ifa says:

When he was advised to feed his Ifa with stale pounded yam

Today is the period of inconvenience of the awo

By tomorrow there is going to be peace and comfort for the awo

Ifa says that this person is about to buy something. What he/she want to buy will make him/her succeed in life. Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with four pigeons and money. on this, Ifa says:

Translation 

The broken calabash fell inside water and it made a loud noise

The wet mud landed on the ground with a thud

Ifa’s message for Olubi

When going to buy Apa as slave 

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

The slave that I acquire has turn me to an Oba

My slave had turned to a prosperous person

When he woke up early in the morning

And was lamenting his inability to secure all ire of life

He was advised to offer ebo

He complied
