In this work Babalawo Obanifa will document one of the spiritual formula available in African Spirituality that can be use for spiritual fortification against physical and spiritual attack . This fortification is known as Agbo Aye. What does it mean to fortify yourself? to protect or strengthen against attack; surround or provide with defensive military works. to furnish with a means of resisting force or standing strain or wear: When we are talking of fortifying yourself within the context of this work. That is what we mean. To fortify yourself spiritually.  One of the spiritual formula that can be use for this purpose is Agbo aye . To prepare and use Agbo Aye been document in this work. You will need:

Ikoko tutun (big  clay pot)


Ewe Amuninmuye(leaves of Emilliapraeter Missa)

Epo obo(bark stem of Obo tree)

Ewe ati egbo Ogolomonsi ( leaves and root of Carica Papaya /pawpaw)

Eyin Adiye Ibile kano roro(freshly lay raw egg)

Obi meji(two kola nut with four lobes)

Preparation

You will put everything mention inside the clay pot and fill it with water. You will then you will boil it together, The pot  must remain on fire like that for seven day. It bottom must not touch ground.

Usage

You will be drinking the water from it daily on the seventh day you peel the egg and eat .
