Obi oloju mefa (kola nut
with six lobes)
Ewe epa mefa ( Six leaves og groundnut plants)
Erupe Agbede( sand taken
from black’s smith shop)
Eruipe oja(sands taken
from the market )
Iru ori ( head of the
head of the user)
Odidi atatre kan ( a whole
alligator pepper /Aframomum melegueta)
Preparation
You will burn the aforementioned items together
and use it to imprint the sixteen Odu Ifa
Usage
Make incision from the
front of your head to the back . You will apply the powder of the preparation
on it ,You will chant the following recitation on it thus :
Ota mi koroju pa mi
Irafaa mefa won ki roju
para won
Alagebde ki roju pa ile
aro
Irafa mefa won ki roju para
won
Agbagba mefa won ki roju pa ile oja
Irafa mefa won ki roju
para won
Ela ki ba igi oko wo eew
Irafa mefa won roju para
won
Translation
My enemies can not succeed
in killing me
Irafa mefa was incapable of killing one another
The black smith don’t have
time to paint Ile aro

The six elders don’t have
time to sweep the market square

Ela can not shield leaves
