Ifa advises the client to whom this Odu is reveal  that if anyone who is closer to him or whoever it may be in his household falls sick, and if the sickness is a serious one or if there is any fearful spiritual attack on him or someone closer to him, the client  will need to do this Ifa preparation in order to have victory over the ailment. You will procure one ram. Cut the right side of the forelegs of the ram alive. Then, use iyerosun to imprint Obara-Bogbe on the sight of the cut on the foreleg and recite the ese Ifa written below on it. The family of the sick person will go and throw it into the bush that is far away from the sick person’s home, and they must not look at the back until they get back home. The remaining ram will be eaten by the Awo and others except the sick person. On this Ifa says;

Ifa says that there is the need for the person to whom this Odu is reveal  to propitiate Egungun Alaso(masquerade) in order to achieve success in all his  endeavors and for him to have ire  of all the good things of life. Ifa says that if somebody is sick and they cast ifa Obara Ogbe  for the person, if Obara-Bogbe is revealed during the consultation, the sick person must be well taken care of. The Awo will consult Ifa to know what Ifa and other divinities will take. On this, Ifa says;

 The one who cast ifa and also and ibo determinant
And the caster who always cast to remove hair
The two of them were going to Olofin’s house to safe the life of an Awo
 They were advised to offer ebo
They complied
Therefore, Olobara you should offer ebo of ogbe satisfactorily
So that it will not remain in the head
Nor remains in the leg Olobara, you should offer ebo of Ogbe satisfactorily

Ifa says that there is one thief in the place where this Odu is revealed. Ifa says that this thief has been using spiritual power to cover-up his misdeeds. Ifa advises them  to offer ebo with one matured he-goat and money. They also needs to offer one he-goat to propitiate Esu Odara.  Ifa advise the person who have engage in any kind of theft to stop and offer ebo so that he will not suffer public humiliation and disgrace. On this, Ifa says;

Ifa advises the client  to offer ebo because the Elders of the night and negative principalities are tormenting him. He  need to offer ebo with16 rats and money.  These rats will be put on fire to remove the hair on the skin briefly. The ears, tails, legs and the whole body must not be allowed to get burnt or cut off. He  will also offer one he-goat, one she-goat and money  as ebo. Ifa warns you never to behave like someone who knows it all. If you do, those helping you will simply abandon you, and what they do for you will have a serious problem. There is also the need for you to propitiate Esu and prepare Ipese for the Elders of the night. On this, Ifa says;

Ifa says there is someone very close to the client  who needs to offer one flower-designed dress as ebo for childbearing. She also needs to offer ebo with 4 rats, 4 fish, one hen and money. There is the need for her to feed Ifa with whatever Ifa will take. On this, Ifa says;

10. Ifa foresees ire of wealth from outside the place where this person  was born and also in his place of birth. In fact, there is no place he  stay, that he cannot succeed in life. Ifa advises him  to offer ebo with 2 gourds, 4 guinea fowls, 4 pigeons and money. He  also need to feed Ifa with  fish and rat. On this, Ifa says;

 Ifa says that client  need to offer ebo for accomplishment.  He is planning to possess something which, according to Ifa, he will get. You need to offer ebo with one rooster, one hen, 2 rats, 2 fish and money  On this, Ifa says;

 Ifa foresees ire of longevity for client . Ifa says that he  will have victory over untimely death. Ifa advises him to propitiate Obatala with 16 snails, efun (traditional white chalk), one he-goat and money. On this, Ifa says;

 They inquired from him from him the reason for consulting Ifa
 He said it was because of Amore, his son
 They advised him to offer ebo with 1,400 cowries
 Twenty is for Alagbaa
 1,400 for Esu-Odara

Ifa says that the first woman/man  that this person got married to was not likely to be his /her  rightful spouse. Ifa says that his  second marriage will be a blessed one. In other words, if the woman you are married to presently happens to be your first wife, the only option is for her to pack out from your house to her family house or wherever, and you will go to her place to ask for her hand in marriage as if you are marrying a new bride. But, if the woman in your home now is the second one, it means that you are now married to the right person, according to Ifa. Ifa advises this person  to offer ebo with one guinea fowl, one pigeon, one rooster and money. On this, Ifa says;

Obara boo-boo 
 Dia fun Egbodo 
 A bu fun Sapala 
 Sapala jade 
 K’egbodo wole 

Translation:

Obara boo-boo This was the Ifa cast for Egbodo, fresh yam

 Also for Sapala, corm pod Sapala please give way

Let Egbodo, new yams come in

19. Ifa foresees ire of all the good things of life for the person to whom this Odu is reveal. Ifa advises him to  propitiate Egbe with different types of eatable fruits and one he-goat. He also need to have the icon of Egbe in his  house, so that he  can be doing the propitiation on a regular basis. On this Ifa says;

Senkutu wele 

Welewele senkutu 

Dia fun Orunmila 

O n torun bo wale aye 

Dia fun Aje 




O ntorun bo wale aye 

 Aje, aya, omo ati ire gbogbo o ma je n ribi rin 

Senkutu wele 

Welewele Senkutu 

Translation:

Senkutu wele

Welewele senkutu

This was Ifa’s message
 to Orunmila

When he was coming from heaven to the earth
 And also to Aje
When she was coming from heaven to earth 
They were advised to offer ebo
 They complied

Financial success, good spouse, children and all the good things of life came in abundance

20. Ifa says that the  time of tribulations of this client  has come to an end. Ifa advises him to offer ebo in order to achieve financial success.  He  will offer ebo with one ram. The fore-legs will be cut. One will be used for ebo and the second fore-leg will be thrown away into the bush in the outskirt of the town or somewhere that is far from your home. This stanza in Obara-Bogbe says;
 Agege ni o se pajuba legan 
 Dia fun Akin 
Akin nbe lawujo iponju 
 Ebo ni won ni ko waa se 
 O gb’ebo, o ru’bo 
 Akin o le ja 
 Akin f’apa agbo segun 
  Akin o le ja 

Translation:
 Agege ni o see pajuba legan
 He was the Awo who cast Ifa for Akin
 When Akin was in the circle of distress
 He was advised to offer ebo
 He complied
  Akin could not fight

Akin won the battle with the arm of the ram
 Akin could not fight



21. Ifa advises this client to whom Obara Ogbe appear  to be helping the helpless at all times. He  must not be selfish and he  should always try all his  possible best by putting smiles on the face of the needy. By so doing, Olodumare will continue to enrich his  pocket. Ifa says that there is the need for him to be propitiating Oosanla(Obatala) on a regular basis.He is also  advised to offer ebo with pigeon, dog’s fore- leg, ram’s fore -leg and money. On this, Ifa says;
Adaba rusurusu Awo ile Onileto 
 Dia fun onileto 
 Omo aji ni ojoojumo f’ohun toro 
  At’apa aja, ati teki agbo 
 Ko to ohun ti Oosa di segbinrin 

Onileto roju o f’ohun tooro 
 Translation:
 Adaba rusurusu, the residence Awo of Onileto
 Make  Ifa for Onileto
 The offspring of the one who woke up in the morning to give gifts to people
 The fore-legs of the dog and ram altogether, was not up to what Oosa gave back in return
Onileto try to be giving gift to people

Ifa says that this person will become wealthy through a way that looks like stealing to many people, but to him it is a blessing. And nobody can query him about it. He is   advised to offer ebo with 6 water yam and money. He  also need to propitiate Sango with one rooster, bitter kola and money . There is also the need for you to propitiate Oya with one hen . On this, Ifa says;
 Eji werewere ni o je ki n rese Akala 
 Iri woroworo ni o je ki n rese ole 
 Dia fun(Orunmila) Olobara 
 Won ni ki Baba o jale 
Ko mu sorun araa re 
 Won ni ko ru’bo 
 O gb’ebo, o ru’bo 

Translation:
 Incessant rain did not allow me to see the footprint of Akala
 The drops of dew did not let me see the leg of a thief 
 These were Ifa’s declarations for (Orunmila)

 Baba was advised to steal
In order to take care of himself 
 He was advised to offer ebo
 He complied

Ifa says that there are negative forces in your house and there is the need for you to offer ebo in order to chase them away. The ebo materials include one she-goat, rat, fish, bird and money. You also need to feed Ifa with 6 he-goats. On this, Ifa says;

Sogo oromo 

Sinnringunsin 

Seeregomo 

Dia fun won n’Ijesa orun eja 
 Nijo ti ajogun ko won mole pitipiti 
 Ebo ni won ni ki won se 

Won gb’ebo, won ru’bo 

Won ni awon sebo Sango-oromo 
 Awon ti sebo Sinnringunsin 
 Awon ti sebo Seeregomo 

 Awon ti sebo Gudugbu (ewura) 

Translation:

Sogo oromo 

Sinnringunsin 

Seeregomo 

They were the Awo who cast Ifa for them at Ijesa
When the evil principalities invade them
They were advised to offer ebo
They complied
They said they have offered the ebo of Sango-oromo
They have offered ebo of Sinnringunsin
They have offered ebo of Seeregomo
They have offered ebo of Gudugbu(water yam)
 24.

Ifa says that there is a woman where this odu is reveal , this woman is looking for the fruit of the womb. Ifa advises her to offer ebo with hen and money . She also needs to feed Ifa with 2 rats and 2 fish.  On this, Ifa says;

Obara boo-boo-boo Awo Eko 
Dia fun Eko 
Eyiti n lo si isale abata 
Ti nloo kanrile omo ni bibi 
 Ebo ni won ni ko waa se 
 O gb’ebo, o ru’bo 
 Ko pe, ko jinna 
 E wa ba ni ni jebutu omo 
 Translation:
 Obara boo-boo-boo, the resident Awo of Eko
 He cast Ifa for Eko
 When she was going to the muddy area to start childbearing
 She was advised to offer ebo
 She complied
