ODU IFA OGBE IKA INCANTATORY CHANTS TO PAY HOMAGE  IN IFA SPIRITUALITY BY BABALAWO OBANIFA-Obanifa  extreme documentaries
                                     

In his current work  Babalawo Obanifa will document  one of the sacred Ifa stanza that  can be used to pay homage to Olodumare (God ) and divinities . Homage means great respect and honor, or something done to honor a person or thing. We pay homage to our ancestors and say prayers in homage to their memory. In Ifa spirituality  it is strongly believe that paying homage homage will easily facilitate  acceptance of prayers,chants,venerations and propitiation . Hence paying homage before you offer ebo or perform any ritual or before you even speak in gathering of elders is one of the condition precedents to have a successful spiritual landing.  In this work I will document one of the powerful Ifa chants that can be used to pay homage in any of the above mentioned occasion . One the powerful Ifa chants that can be use for such purpose is derived from Odu Ifa Ogbe Ika/ Ogbeka  a mere chant of this sacred stanza will achieve the aforementioned result.  The chants goes thus:

Won ki yo eyin adiye ninu omi lataro kutu

Ko di ale ko to gbe

Bi jowolo Ogede ba pe ninu omi lapeju

Won ki le gbe boro-boro

Afoso ninu eji

A ri orun sa

O di ola ko to gbe

Dia fun Akoda ti n ko gbogbo aye nifa

A bu fun Aeda ti n ko gbogbo agbagba ni Imonran

Won ni ki awon mejeji rubo ki won ma ba ja titi aye

Ati ki oruko won makle pare

Nje Iba akoda loni

Iba aseda loni

Gbogbo omo awo ni ko ma juba won

Nje iba niti oniba

Omo Awo ti ko ba juba akoda Ifa re ko ni se

Iba niti Oniba

Awo ti ko ba juba Aseda

Ebo re ko nida

Iba niti oniba

Emi Babalawo Obanifa( a o daruko wa) juba Aseda ati Akoda

Ohun gbogbo ti mo ba wi ni ko ma se

Ase

Translation:

If you remove egg from water early  in the morning

You will not wait till the evening before it dry

If rotten banana stem stay long in the water

It does not get dry easily

We wash clothe in the  rain

There is no sun to dry it

It will be dry by Tomorrow

This was Ifa’s messages for Akoda that reach everybody Ifa

Same Ifa’s message was made For Aseda that teaches the elders Knowledge

The two of them were advised to offer ebo so that they can be immortalized

I pay homage to Akoda today

I pay homage to Aseda

All the initiate should pay homage to them

Homage to whom homage is due

Omo Awo  that does not pay homage to Akoda , His Ifa will not come to manifestation

Homage to whom homage is due

Awo that does not pay homage to Aseda

His ebo (sacrifice ) will not be accepted

Homage to hwim homage is due

I  Babalawo Obanifa( The prospective user will mention his/her name  ) pay homage to Akoda and Aseda today

Anything I say should come to manifestaion
