In this current work
Babalawo Obanifa will document one of the leading Ifa incantatory chants available
in Yoruba Ifa spirituality that can be used to avert untimely death on the head
of a person who is terribly sick and bedridden with sickness. One of this special
Ifa prayers that can be use to avert untimely death on the head of a person that
is bedridden with terrible sickness is derive from odu Ifa Odi-Ogbe also known
as Idi -Gbe. To make this prayers. You will need to sweep the dust under the
mat or bed that the person that is bedridden with terrible sickness sleep on .
You will sweep from the head side,You will also sweep from the legs side. You
will mix the two together and use it to imprint odu Ifa Odi Ogbe thus :
