HERBAL CURE FOR EPILEPSY BY BABALAWO OBANIFA – Obanifa extreme documentaries(vol 3)
In this work Babalawo
Obanifa will document some of the herbal formula available in Yoruba herbal
medicine that can be use to treat and
cure epilepsy. The term for Epilepsy in Yoruba herbal medicine is know as
Warapa. Below are documentation of some

Eeru(xylopea aethopica)

Oro agaogo(cactus plants)
Egbo arunpale( roots of
Chenopodium Abroissioisdedes)
Egbo Oganlegun(unidentified)
Egbo Jasoko(Unidentfied )
Egbo Ifon(roots of
Treculia Africana)
Epo Igi Apa (bark stem of
Anthocleistia Vogeli)
Preparation
You will chop the
aforementioned items into small pieces . You will soaked it in cold water for 72
hours
Usage
The patient suffering epilepsy will be drinking one glass of the herbal concoction
in the morning and evening.

Preparation
You will peel the root mentioned.
Grind it together and use it to cook the pegion
The patient suffering
from epilepsy will eat it.

Odidi eye Igun ( A whole
vulture)
Eso apa (fruit of Anthocleistia
Vogeli)
Imi ojo (Sulphur)
Ako kanhun(Trona)
Preparation
You will grind the
aforementioned items together.

You will be adding it to
cook soup for patient suffering from epliplesy

bat)
Odidi Akere meji (two
frogs)
Epo konukoho to sile
funrare (Uidentified)
Preparation
You will grind the
aforementioned item together and use blood of dog to mix it. You will use it to
cook ripe banana for the epiplesy patient to eat. He will vomit what is causing him/her
epilepsy.

Ewe Isin(leaves of akee

Ejo isan (Isan snake)
Odidi ataare (Alligator
pepper/Aframomum melegueta)
Preparation
You will burn the
aforementioned items together.
The patient will be licking
it.

Epo obo (bark stem of Obo
tree)
Ewe Ominsinmisin (leaves
of Abruus precatorius)
You will grind the aforementioned
item together. And blood of dog to mix it
Usage
Patient suffering from epilepsy
will drink it . he will vomit what is causing him epilepsy.

frond )
Ewe Oyoyo (jute leaves )
Preparation
You will grind the
aforementioned together and use it to cook cat fish. The patient suffering from
epilepsy will eat it.

Ese Osi Agbonrin(left leg
Of antelope)
Igbe Agbonrin(feces of
antelope)
Igbe Eran Ekiri(fece of
Ekiri /unidentified )
Igbe Esin(feces of horse)
Prepaartion
You will grind the
aforementioned item together and use to to cook dog meat and electric fis (eja
Ojiji) . The patient will eat it.

Grind the aforementioned together
and use blood of dog to mix it .use it to cook white yam porridge .The patient will eat it. He will vomit what is
causing him epilepsy.
