In this work
Babalawo Obanifa will document one of the good luck formula available in Yoruba
Ifa spirituality for body cream. A good luck charm is an amulet or other
item that is believed to bring good luck. In this work are
documenting spiritual body cream for that purpose. For Awo to prepare this formula
he will need:
Awo Ekun (leopard
skin)
Ewe Isaju (leaves
of Blepharis Maderaspatensis)
Aso Egungun (masquerade
cloth)
Odidi ataare kan
(A whole alligator pepper/Aframomum melegueta)
Preparation
You will burn the
aforementioned to fine charcoal and grind it to fine powder. Mix it with body cream of your choice.
Incantation for
usage;
Egungun ki wo oja
ki o ma di eni apewo
Ekun ki wo oja ki
o di elero lehin
Ewe isaju loni ki
ti okunrin ti obirin ma se Isaju fun mi
Tewe tagba ni sanu
omo Orukan
Translation
Masquerade will
not enter market without attracting spectators
Leopard will not
enter market without attracting crowd
It is Isaju leaves
that will make young and old to favor me
It is both young
and old that favor an orphans
