In this work Babalawo obanifa will document varieties
of herbal formula available in Yoruba herbal medicine for treatment of bed wetting in children and adult. Bedwetting, or nocturnal enuresis, refers to
the unintentional passage of urine during sleep.
Enuresis is the medical term for wetting, whether in the clothing during the
day or in bed at night. Another name for enuresis is urinary
incontinence. When necessary physical and behavioral measure have been taking to treat the bed wetting but such child
or adult in question is still bed wetting .Then some of the formula that I will
document in this work can be use as for treatments
of the bed wetting . The term use for this formula in Yoruba herbal medicine is
known as Ogun Itoju Toole toole (remedy
to cure bed wetting ). Below are documentation of some of the formula available
in Yoruba herbal medicine to cure bed wetting
as document by Babalawo obanifa

Atare(alliagator pepper)
Wonda kola (wonder kola)
Igbe adiye (fece of an
hen)
Preparation
You will grind the three
aforementioned together.
Uses
The person suffering from
bedwetting will be licking it.
2.
Ewe ailu tutu( fresh
leaves of Secamone afzeli)
Iyere(pepper Guianese)
Ifun adiye(intestine of
hen)
Preparation
Grind the Ewe ailu tutu(
fresh leaves of Secamone afzeli),Iyere(pepper Guianese) to fine paste . Use it
o cook Ifun adiye(intestine of hen).The person suffering from bed-wetting will
eat it.he/she will be healed.

Funrifun inu suku agbada
( the with foam content inside the corn cob)
Atare (alliagator
pepper/Aframomum melegueta)
Preparation
You will burn the two together.
The person suffering from bed-wetting will add the mixture to his corn meal and
eat it. He will stop bedwetting.
4.
Ewe arunfnfo(leaves of
hyptis suaveolens)
Igbe adiye(feces of hen)
Odidi atare ( A whole alligator
pepper)
Preparation and Use
Burn the three aforementioned
item together. The person suffering from bed-wetting will be licking it he/she
will be healed

Ewe Dandito(unidentified)
Odidi ataare ( a whole alligator
pepper)
Preparation and Use
You will grind the two together,
The person suffering from bedwetting will be licking it.

Wonder kola(Wonder kola)
Kanhun(trona)
Igbe akukodiye(comb of
the head of a cock)
You will grind the aforementioned
item together.
The persons suffering
from bed wetting will be licking it .he will be healed.

Ewe arojoku tutu (fresh leaves of Anisopapuss dalzielii or elicpta prostate),
Ifun adiye ( intestine of an hen), Odidi atare kan ( a whole fruit of alligator
pepper with scientific name aframomum meleguetta). All the aforementioned items
will be burn together and grind to fine powder. Usage:
This preparation should be added to corm meal or custard for the the bed wetting children.

Ewe tapara tutu ( fresh leaves of Griffonia
simplicifolia), Iyere ( African black
pepper with scientific name Pepper guineese) , Eja ojoji ( electric fish). All
these aforementioned should be used to prepare soup for any children suffering
from bed-wetting to eat.

It also good for children suffering bed-wetting to be taking one tea spoon of Oyin
igan ( original wild honey ) three time a day it can help cure bed wetting in
children.

If the person is a child
.in the olden day in village setting. Such children will be advise to be
urinating in Adiro gbigbona(tripod that still have fire in it before he/she
sleep) but the spate of modernity where every body is now using electric or gas
cooker has put halt to usage of such formula it is no longer easily obtainable
unless in rural setting.
Children who have
complicated bed-wetting may be referred to a specialist in urinary tract
problems (urologist) for further evaluation
