Ekiti Banmba ( the big ant hill) the Awo of road side

This was Ifa message for visitor coming on the way

He was advised to offer ebo so that he can settle in the house of someone else

He complied and offer the ebo

Compliance with the term of Ebo

Don’t you see how Ifa prediction come to manifestation

Onile  (the home owner) was the one advised to offer ebo so that he will not get implicated in legal matter by the guest he will entertain. He was advised to offer ebo and avoid taking stranger for that month. He refused . he said defiantly that no stranger can implicate him in his own  house. He said if the awo need food from him they should have asked directly. Ero ona ( the stranger on the road) too was looking for where to settle, therefore went to Ekiti bamba to make Ifa consultation for him. Ekiti bamba  advise her to offer ebo . she complied. That evening she enter the city . It is the abode of onile she went to ,she  told him she did not  know where to pass the night and she did not know anyone in this city. Onile said that she should not worry she should bring her load and her children in to his house. My house is your house he said. The visitor that night in the course of force feeding her children that night with eko ogi (corn meal) . The child died in the process. She cry out . please help me I don’t know what this house owner put in the food he gave to us now he have killed my child. Immediately people hear this noise they handpicked the house owner and took him to the king to face judgement. The house owner said he was just trying to help. The council of elders told him that he knows the custom that he ought to have involve others or  bring it to the notice of others before taking stranger s to his house. They conclude that failure to do this proof his culpability that he have ulterior motive . His quest is not lying, they concluded and they  sent him to prison. That is when he remember what his awo have told him .he said that is exactly what is Awo have said:

He was advised to offer to offer ebo so that he can reap the Ire of this world

He refuse to offer the prescribed ebo

Life was hard for him as stone

He subsequently complied and offer the ebo

Mammoth wealth was bestowed on him

He is now living his life with ease

Not too far, not too long

Come and meet us in the midst of blessings

Igun was the one coming from heaven. He went to his Awo to know what life will look like for him. They told him that life will be good for him but if he can offer ebo and feed Aje  so that he can reap the blessing of the world with ease. But Igun refuse to offer ebo. When he arrived in the world everything was though for him. He can not make both ends met. He experience this hardship for a long period before he remember that he default in making his ebo in heaven. He finally offer the ebo and life pleases him. He said that is exactly what his Awo have says:

Babalawo Igun

Ifa advise  this person to offer ebo with 16 pegion,16 guinea fowl,16 hen ifa says that life will please him, Ifa say he should also offer one snail and one hen as ebo so that he will not live a solitary life.Ifa also advise the person to who this Odu is feed Egungun. Ifa say that this person to who this Odu is reveal will become famous in life. On this ifa says:

Oyeku dawo osu tele

Okanporo Babalawo Agogo lo dia fun agogo

Opolopo ni to’su Awo Osu lo di fun osu

Won ni ki Agogo ru eyele kan lebo

Agogo was advised to offer ebo with one pigeon

Osu was advised to offer ebo with sixteen pigeons

They both complied

Osu stand straight don’t ever bend

Osu is stnding in uprit position

 Ifa says there is a woman where this Odu is revealed.  This woman will be blessed with many children.  There are  however the need for her to offer ebo  so that she can be a mother  all the children that  She has in her belly.  Ifa advises this woman to  offer ebo with a matured goat, two chickens,  Eight rats, eight fish and money. She also  needs to feed Ifa with four rats, four , fish and a chicken. On this, the Ifa say:

 Dia fun  Aitale

 Ti n moju ekun sungbere omo

 Won ni ko rubo

 Oh gb'ebo, oh ru'bo

This was  Ifa's message for Aitale( insect)

 She was crying for her inability to have children

 She was advised  to offer ebo

 She complied

 Before long, not too far

 Meet  us in the midst of many children



Aitale( insect) have been married for long and was unable to have children of her own .she went to the aforemention awo to consult to know what will be her chance of having her own children in this world .he was advised to offer ebo.He complied. Before  long not too far she was blessed with children.She sait that is exactly what his awo have predicted

 Ifa says that it  will provides many children for the person to  who this Odu is revealed.  He / she will receive this blessing in abundance.  Ifa advises this  person to offer ebo with two chickens, four rats,  Four fish and money.  On  this, Ifa  say:

 Dia fun Orunmila

 Ifa  feyinti, fekun sunrahun omo

 Won ni ko rubo

 O gb'ebo, oh ru'bo

 This was Ifa message for Orunmila

 When  he is crying fo his inability to have children

 He was advised to offer ebo

 He complied

 Before long, not too far

 Meet  us in the midst of children

 Ifa says that there is ire of blessing and abundance and prosperity for the person to whom this Odu is reveals.  He /she should offer  ebo with .two pigeons, two chickens, four rats, four fish and money. On this, Ifa says :

Ti n roko Ailero Odun

 Won ni ko rubo

 O gb'ebo, o ru'bo

 Ki lagbado mu pada bo wale

Igba aso ni Agbado mu padabo bowale

  Translation

 Oyekurosun

 This was Ifa message for (Yangan) the corn

 When going to the farm for the annual field cultivation

 She was recommended to offer ebo

 She complied

 How many  garment did  the corn brought back?

 200 different garments are what  corn bring  brought back

 How many children made did corn bring back ?

 200 children is what the corn brought back



Yangan (the corn) was poor with no children, clothe and money. She want to enter the ground in the cultivation season. He went to awo for Ifa consultation to know what his chance of success will be .She was advised to offer ebo with .two pigeons, two chickens, four rats, four fish and money. That she will gain prosperity and increase in everything in multiple folds. She complied . Before long , when she enter the ground between the span of three moon (approximately ninety days )She have growth and  have many clothes on her and many children. she was happy. She said that is exactly what his Awo have said:

Ifa says that there is ire of motherhood and having successful children for the person to whom this Odu is reveals .  Ifa says it is advisable for this person to live very close to either a stream, the River, the lagoon or the sea.  It's in that position that everything he/she want will reach his hand with ease.  Ifa advises this person to offer with  two chickens, two pigeons and money. On  this, the Ifa say:

Dia fun  Keere

 Ti n se aya abata

 Won ni ko rubo

 O gb'ebo, oh ru'bo

 Keere  mama de oo Aya Abata

 N ba bimo bi Keere  Nba jo ,N ba yo

 This was  Ifa's message for Keere

Who is the wife of  Abata( the swamp)

 She was advised  to offer ebo

 She complied

 Here comes Keere, Abata's wife

 If  am lucky enough to give birth to  many children like Keere I will be happy

 Ifa says he foresee prosperity for this person.  Ifa  advise this person to join any Cooperative society  of money contribution or form or established one .  Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with four pigeons and the money .He should also feed Aje with necessary item. Life will please him on this Ifa says;

Dia fun won Laajo Eesu

 Nibi  won gbe kori Aje jo

 Won ni ki won rubo

 Won  gb'ebo, won  ru'bo

 Aje or that the boy ran restrained awa

 This was Ifa message for them in Egba Eesu,Where they engae in thrift contribution

 They were advised to offer ebo

 They complied

 Wealth will not disappear in our lineage

 Wealth will continue to multiply

 Ifa says that there was  a young man where this Odu is revealed who  must get marry  to an awo in the order  for her not to continue to  suffer from incessant ailment.  Ifa advised that she offer  should offer ebo with a goat  matured, four rats, four fish and money. The rat and fish will be used to feed Ifa. On  this, Ifa says:

 Eyinndunaja

 Orulenigbogboarako je tohun

 Dia fun Oye Ogosun

 Ti n se Baba Ojuumoto

 Won ni ko rubo

 O koti ogboin si ebo

 Oye -Ogosun, o ba foju

 Hey, Ogosun

 Translation

 Pepe is suffering from human body aches

 And Aja is afflicted with further ache

 Orule complains that every part of his human body  is in pain

This was  Ifa's message for Oye-Ogosun

 He was advised to  offer ebo

 He refused to offer prescribed ebo

 Oye -Ogosun, why don't you make  up  your mind

 and hand over Ojumooto for an awo in the marriage

 Ifa says that this person must be very careful  before employing  any house help, to  avoid a situation where house help will end up inflicting serious pain on those who that  employ her.  In fact, it is also a taboo that that this  person dispatches his / her child's  as  house help of the house for someone else .  The result will certainly be  disastrous.  Ifa advises this person to offer ebo with money.  and  goat ,on this .Ifa says

When going to send her  child in servitude to Ologini (the cat)

 She was advised   to offer ebo

 She refused

 Failure to comply with the teram of ebo ,don’t you see how Ifa prediction come to pass

 Ifa advises this person to hold on to Ifa and make  Ifa his / her sanctuary.  Everything he / she is  searching for  will be given on him / her through Ifa.  Ifa advises this person to offer  ebo  and undergo Ifa   initiation life will pleases his. He  should offer  ebo  with four pigeons, four  chickens, four guinea fowls and money.  he / she  she also needs to feed Ifa with four  rats and that four fish.  On this, Ifa says:

Oyeku Baba Irosun

Dia fun Oye

 Tii somo Oluigbo

 O feyinti o mu omi oju surahun Ire

 Won ni ko rubo

 Ohgb'ebo, o ru'bo

 Nje Orunmila gba mi o

 Ifa ma kemogba



Eeyan  bake gbami laagba

 Gbami oh, mokemogba

 Translation

 Oyeku Irosun's father

 This was ifa’s message for Oye

 Oluigbo's boy

 When he lamenting for his inability to get all the Ire of life

 He was advised to offer ebo

He complied

 Ifa  I come for you as my sanctuary

 It is whoever asks  you for protection that you   protects

 Please be my rescue

 I implore thy for  protection

Ifa advise the person to whom this Odu is reveals to offer ebo and he should not be miser with drink like wine to the visitor. He should always lay the bottle of his drinks down immediately he finishes it. In other not to incur the wrath of Sango.He should also offer ebo with wine and alwat entertain visitor with wine.)n this ifa says :

Ipin lawo omode

Awalanfa lawo Agago

Aye n re Ife awo soko

Dia fun Oye ogosu ti o muti Ogoji dun sango

Ohunge otin n gbe Sango

Sango rin rin o de ibi won gbe mu otin

Translation

Ipin is the Awo of Omonde

Awanlanfa is the Awo Agago

Aye n re Ife is the awo of Soko

This was Ifa message for Oye ogosu

Who will drink 40 bottles of wine to the displeasure of Sango

Sango was thirsty for wine

He walked to the spot where people are drinking wine

The bottle of wine stands upright

But there is no wine inside it again

Sango get angry and use it stone to attack them.
