In this current work Babalawo Obanifa will document in detail the due process involve in consecration of Orisa Aje (goddess of wealth). This work will be useful for any practicing Babalawo or Orisa devotee who wants to have full knowledge on how to consecrate Orisa Aje. It is instructive to note that the author of this work (Babalawo Obanifa) is a practicing diviner and an established authority in field of Yoruba herbal medicine and Ifa spirituality, the knowledge reveals and document in this work is for actual spiritual practice. The essence of documentation is to prevent extinction of genuine knowledge of this preparation for future practitioners and as well to prevent fraud on the part of the practitioners of this generation who lack the knowledge of this preparation but still offer the service to the unsuspected member of the public. We don’t do this for money; we are doing it, because we love it.

Who is Orisa Aje ?

In Yoruba culture and spirituality Orisa Aje is known as female offspring of Olokun. Hence Orisa Aje is been refer to as Aje Olokun ,better put in Ifa spiritual parlance Aje Olokun Seni Ade.It is believe in Yoruba spirituality  that Orisa Aje is the spiritual energy that is in charge and control of creation and maintenance of wealth. It is deemed to be the spiritual energy and force in charge of trade, commerce, finance and other economic and financial related activities. It is believed that the spiritual energy of  Orisa Aje is feminine. As a result of the important of the nature of this Orisa energy. From time immemorial people have always try to create nexus between them and Orisa Aje to be able to live a life free from financial stress. The method to achieve this is through veneration or consecration of Orisa Aje element. Usually this element is usually in term of consecrated cowries, sea shell, gold coins or any form of coins or even paper currency, or any  durable items that have been used has symbol for exchange of value at any period of time  in the history of human being can be consecrate as symbol of Orisa Aje element.

How doe Orisa Aje Energy Works?

In my years of practice, It have taken me  a lot effort to explain what Orisa Aje represent and how it work to people ,ranging from clients , even to most practicing Babalawo and Ifa devotees  regardless of age whether Young or Old ,some don’t know how this element work, It is not their fault anyway, your   age or religion orientation  will not tell you what you don’t  know,only the knowledge and experience of it will. Most people usually believe  Orisa Aje element is all about you seeing free money or currency at your home or getting the money you don’t work for. I am using this medium to tell you that  Orisa Aje energy is not Ogun Owo(The popular Money ritual).Orisa Aje is just a facilitator of wealth creation that will make you experience spiritual buoyancy and prosperity based on the service or value you can offer for the benefit of other human being in return for money they will give you. What the element will do is to make your fellow human being to deal in the way you want to deal so that money can flow from them to you in exchange of value, good or service you will offer them wish will be of benefit to them. Hence items normally use for consecration and making of Aje element as always be anything that is use as a symbol of exchange such as cowries, minted coins, sea shell ,durable paper currency etc. A genuine Babalawo must not involve in using human being for ritual or money making ritual which is the trending thing in most spiritual practice in todays world, those who do such and claim they are Babalawo are either fraudster who hide under the guise of Ifa spirituality to perpetrate evil, and they are cursed. Dont deal with them they are evil and evil will follow them and those who deal with them, either they call their selves  Babalawo, alfa-muslim cleric or woli –prophets or pastor ,evil will always follow the evil doer in whateever guise they use to practice it. So Orisa Aje will not bring cash notes on your table unless you have business venture or work you engage in, no free money anywhere don’t be deceived.

How do I know that I am in need of  Orisa Aje Element?

The truth is that anybody who have attain the age that know the use of money can have  Orisa Aje element. But in most cases It can be reveal to some people through Idafa (Ifa consultation that they need to venerate or have Aje element).And many people do voluntarily ask for Orisa Aje element for their personal use or their business.

Who Can Have Orisa Aje Element?

The truth is that anybody body can have Orisa Aje element. Business owners, individual person, Religion organization such as churches or mosque, temples, shrine etc. Though in recent time most serial internet fraudsters do have Aje Element to aid their work (it is instructive to note that what you sow you will reap). Most Orisa priest or priestess who claims to be offering such service to people or unsuspected member of the public may actually be committing fraud. But it is instructive to note that anybody who have access to this current documentation and have sense enough to read and understand it, will be able to consecrate a genuine Orisa Aje Element, this documentation will eliminate fraud on the part of any Awo who want to make Orisa  Aje element for their client either now or in future.

Consecration Of Orisa Aje Element As Document By Babalawo Obanifa

The first step in consecration of Orisa Aje Element for a client, is that after the Babalawo in question would have collected the money for the whole service from the prospective client in question who is need of the consecrated Aje Element. He will tell the client to supply his/her name and name of his/her mother. For example Babalawo Obanifa omo Toria( Babalawo Obanifa son of Toria.
The Babalawo will then use Opele(Ifa divination chain) or Ikin(sacred Ifa nuts) to make Ifa consultation to ascertain the number of Eyo owo(cowries) Aje Olokun(sea shell) Owo irin (minted coins) ,number of pigeon and snail and bottle of gin the Eleda (destiny) of the person in question will take for the Orisa Aje to work with him or her.
It is instructive to note that this stage is usually very funny in the sense that, the consultation can pick a very few number of cowries or sea shell. With experience I have seen where the consultation will pick just four cowries and four sea shell and four coins for a client. Don’t bother yourself about the numbers. Whether it is plenty or small they are of equal strength ,value and validity.It is not about the numbers it is about the strength.

Consecration Proper

For consecration proper You will need the following:
Ewe Ela tutu(fresh leaves of Aclypha Wilkesiana)

Ewe Aje/sefunsefun tutu(Fresh leaves of Gloria Superba with scientific name  Aerva  lanata)
Ewe Akisan tutu( fresh leaves of Stachytapheta angustifolia/Trianthema portulacastrum)
Ewe olojongbodu tutu(fresh leaves of  Solenostemon Monostachyus)
Ewe Sikirmini(fresh leaves of Latana Camara/Hibiscus surrattensis)
Ewe Atewogba tutu( fresh leaves of Impomea mauritenia)
Igbin(snails)

Eyele(Pigeon)
Odidi agba Elede( A mature pig)
Ori oka(cobra head)

Ori Ere( Python head)
Okuruku ihunso Ofi
Oka baba lopo( Sorghum millets)
Egungun monu
Otin schinap(dry gin).

Preparation

Egungun monu, you will peel little out of Okuruku ihunso, Ori oka(cobra head) Ori Ere( Python head) , Oka baba lopo( Sorghum millets, You will burn the five aforementioned items together  to fine powder. You will grind it to become a fine powder. Mix it with Iyerosun Ifa (consultation powder) and pour it on opon Ifa ( carved Ifa wooden divination tray). Use it to imprint Odu Ifa  Obara Meji  thus:

You will then begin to use Iroke Ifa (ifa divination tapper ) to tap the opon Ifa why you chant the stanza below on it.

Translation

Lack of money create vicious circle of poverty
It is poverty
That make the rich to treat the poor with disdain
Because if two thousand unit of money is invested in farming activities and there is plenty crop to harvest
It is also take  two thousand unit of money that will be needed to conduct the harvest
Cast Ifa divination reading for Orunmila
When he wake up in the mornings without a single unit of money to spent
No single cowries to use for Ibo
He advised to offer prescribed sacrifice
Plenty sorghum is part of sacrifice
He obliged and perform the sacrifice
Conducting the sacrifice proper make prayer to become accepted in miraculously way
In a very short period of time
Come join. Me in this mist of all fortune of life
It is with blessings and goodness one do hear about wealth
It is with goodness and wealth people should hear about me
Babalawo Obanifa( the name of your prospective client will be insert).

After this prayer has been chant, you will use your right hand to carry little out of the powder on the Opon Ifa tray inside a bowl. You will pour the liquid content of many bottle of dry gin inside the bowl. You will pour all the fresh leaves mentioned earlier inside it range from: Ewe Ela tutu(fresh leaves of Aclypha Wilkesiana), Ewe Ela tutu(fresh leaves of Aclypha Wilkesiana)Ewe Aje/sefunsefun tutu(Fresh leaves of Gloria Superba with scientific name  Aerva  lanata),Ewe Akisan tutu( fresh leaves of Stachytapheta angustifolia/Trianthema portulacastrum),Ewe olojongbodu tutu(fresh leaves of  Solenostemon Monostachyus),Ewe Sikirmini(fresh leaves of Latana Camara/Hibiscus surrattensis),Ewe Atewogba tutu( fresh leaves of Impomea mauritenia).
You will then proceed to use the rest of the powder on the Opon ifa (Ifa divination tray to imprint Odu Ifa Otura-Ose thus:

Translation

Extreme poverty is not a desirable thing
Suffering is not a acceptable thing
If one is living a penurious life
The members of one's household with  treat one with contempt
Cast ifa divination reading for Labomo
Who is going to be on top of the world
He was advised to offer sacrifice
He complied
Of what use is Egungun?
Of what use is Orisa?
Of what use is human being?
All of them Egungun, orisa and Eniyan
Who doesn't know among the three that it is Aje (godess of wealth) that is above them all
Aje is the Labomo who is on top of the world
Without Aje, no acceptable sacrifice can be make to any orisa
Aje is the most prominent of all the orisa
Kindly join me in shouting the name of Aje
Aje that turn Metamorphosis youth to and elder
And an elder to youth
Join me to shout the name of wealth wealth
Aje (wealth) come and make my (I babalawo obanifa)house your domicile.(The awo will insert the name of the prospective client here)

After this has been performed you will remove the head of the pigeon and some feather from it two wing you will add it to the leaves inside the bowl. You will add the number of previous cowries,sea shell or coins as prescribe from the first Ifa consultation for the client inside the bowl you will use hand to squeeze it together. Pour the blood of the pigeon inside it. Pour little out of the powder on the opon Ifa to it
Then proceed to use the rest of the powder on  opon ifa the to imprint Odu  Ifa  Oyeku Owonrin thus

Opon ifa aboju telu
Asise oju ode abaya gbaragada
Difa fun osuniyi
Ti n se aremon Olokun
Nijo ti n sunkun ohun laje

Ki a to ki barapetu laro
Emi babalawo Obanifa
Ji ki iwo aje loni
Je ki ni lowo
Ma je ki ni o lorun

Translation

Opon ifa with big hollow surface
The gate entrance with wide chest
Cast ifa divination reading for Osiniyi
Who was first child of Olokun
When is lamenting his inability to get wealth
It is aje we should greet
Our praises or eulogy should go to Aje
Before we greet Barapetu
I babalawo Obanifa have greet orisa aje today( You will insert the name of the prospective client)
Let me have wealth in my hand
Don't let debt hang on my neck.

After this you will call someone to help you to hold the pig while you hold the snail. You will use the rest of the powder on Ifa tray to imprint Odu Ifa Odi otura thus:

You will then chant the following Ifa incantation on it thus:

Igbo ni Awo koro
Orisa ko pa ese aro po lona
Ojojumo ni babalwo n ba esu odar soro wujewuje
Awon ni won difa fun olayinkan Awo aye
Nijo ti oju aje n pon olayinka Awo aye
O lo so fun awon Ahannimoja ti se Oluwo ode orun
Woni ki Olayinka awo Aye ki o lo
Mu ewe Ela ati Ewe aje ki o fi se eran elede je pe won yio silekun Aje tie fun
Emi balalawo obanifa mot i mu ewe ela ti ewe aje temi wa loni
Ki e wa silekun oro temi fun mi
Gbogbo  ara ni fi n san Akisan
Gbogbo ara ni sefunsefun fi se aje
Ile kile koko ki imu elede ma tu
Bi o ti wu ki ode o le to ki ara ko demi
Ase.
Translation:
Odi otura
Igbo is the Awo of Koro
Orisa does not prevent the  lame from crawling the foot path
Babalawo whispers to Esu odara on daily basis
This was Ifa make for Olayinka Awo Aye
When he was in extreme poverty
He approach the Ahannimoja the Oluwo of Orun for help
He was advised to go and cook pork meat with leaves of Ela and Aje and eat it
That his door of weath will be open for him
He complied his door of wealth was opened for him
I babablawo obanifa have used Ela and Aje leaves to invoke Aje today
Come and open the door of wealth for me
No matter how hard a soil is, pig will still be able to penetrate it with its nose
No   matter how hard the economic situation of the nations
I should be able to have money to spent.
 Ase.
You will proceed to kill the pig and put little out of it blood in the preparation. You will remove the water from the snail and pour it on it.You will then proceed to pack the rest of the powder on the divination tray on it. You will squeeze it well with the item meant to be consecrate as the element.
Leave it like that for seven days.
Third day Prayers will be make on it in the name of the intended user.  On the seventh day you will remove all the items inside the preparation into a clean white plate. Then your Orisa Aje  Element is ready for weekly or monthly or yearly veneration. You can vide my previous work on how to venerate or pray to Orisa Aje. Remain blessed always.
