Below are set of potent Herbal formulae for the treatment Of Goiter in Yoruba Herbal medicine

Egbo Arunpale (roots of chenopodium abrosiodes)

Egbo Ifon(roots of Treculia Africana)

Egbo Agbasa(roots of Clausena anisata)

Tabatha juku (Nicotina Rustica)

Epo amuyan(back stem Of Kigelia Africana)

Alupayida(Uraria picta)

Ewe arahara(Monodica carbrei)

Odidi ataare kan(one alligator pepper).

All the aforementioned will be grind together to form a paste. You will be applying it on the goiter, you will use clean cloth to bandage the paste on the goiter. After three days remove it.and make fresh one and re-apply until improvement is obtained.

Odidi Ataare meta( Three pods of Alligator pepper)

Ewe Agunmona(leaves of Culcasia scandens/Culcasia Saxatillis)

Ewe Ogirisako( Leaves Of Anchomanes Difformis)

Adin dudu(palm kernel oil).

The first four aforementioned items on the list should be burn together to fine powder.

Razor blade will be used to make incisions on the goiter while the powder from the preparation is applied to it. The rest of the powder will be pour inside Adin dudu(black palm kernel oil).The Adin will be applied as ointment on the goiter always.

Igi –Owu(stem of cotton plant with scientific name Gossypium barbadense).

The two aforementioned items will be burn together. Razor will be used to make incision on the Goiters. The powder obtain from the preparation will be applied on the incision.

Oje igi  Ahun( Sap of Stoolwood with scientific name Alstonia Boonei)

Kanhun(Trona).

The stem bark of Eudebia Trofoliolata and the Trona will  be grind together. You will use the sap obtain from of Alstonia Boonei to mix it.

You will make incisions on the goiter. The paste of the preparation will be applied on it.Use will use neat cloth to bandage the paste for three days. After three days .it can be removed.

Olugborogan(Dracaena surculosa)

Omi okun

Omi okun (ocean water).

You will pour the ocean water in a clay pot. You will uproot the aforementioned plant and put it inside it . You will start to burn the two together inside the pot until the water dry up.

Incision will be make on the Goiter and powder obtain from the preparation will be used to rub it or apply the incision.
