Moon Magic and Moon Phases
There are many magical practices that are based upon the phases and activity of the moon and, in fact, there is magic in which the phases of the moon are paramount in the practice of the moon magic. Practitioner of this practice cast moon magic spells, including moon magic love spells, which depend on the power of different moon phases. Not all forms of magic consider the moon essential to their spell workings. In Egyptian Magic the Moon Phases are not considered in spell casting, however they are very important in harvesting and blessing ceremonies of materials and ingredients.
The Phases of the Moon
The New Moon
For example, in a new moon, the first 2 days of the moon cycle, magic is generally performed between dawn and sunset.  The power of the new moon is not very strong but the moon magic spells have a great deal of power that gradually increase as time goes on.  Goddesses and some gods are invoked to make these spells work, which are focused on gardening, careers and romance.
The Waxing Moon
A waxing crescent moon comes next.  The moon is about 45-90 degrees ahead of the sun.  It’s greatest strength is at the midpoint of the crescent and moon magic spells are focused on business, animals, emotions, change and matriarchal strength.
The first quarter of the moon in which sunset is the best time to perform moon magic spells and moon magic love spells.  This is the best time to fulfill a specific request.  It also works for the ascertainment of love (moon magic love spells), wealth, courage, success, friendship health and luck.  The moon has different powers at different stages of its cycle and this is the best time for the above wishes and spells.
The Full Moon
A waxing gibbous moon takes the moon to its full moon status.  It means that you must be patient and wait for the coming of the full moon.  Spells can be done prior to this time and can wait for completion at the time of the full moon.  When the moon is then full, it rises at sunset and sets at dawn so that midnight is the best time for the moon magic spells to be performed.  The full moon spells include those that help fulfill prophesy, protection and divination.  A spell that needs extra power is done at the time of the full moon in order to maximize the power of the moon magic spell.
The Waning Moon
As the moon is waning, the best time to do spells is at 3 o’clock in the morning.    This is the time of banishing of certain things, including addiction, decisions, emotions, stress, protection and divorce.  When the moon is truly waxing in the last quarter, the crescent shape is turned toward the west.  Moon magic spells focus on resolving something in your life.  Conclusion is the focus of this type of moon magic spell.  It is used to banish magic or to get rid of addition, negativity or illness.  When the moon is dark, 10 am is the best time to perform a moon magic spell.

Special Types of Moon
There are two special types of moon situations.   The first is the Sidhe moon which occurs when two new moons occur in any given calendar month.  It is a relaxation time and a time of reflection.  A Blue Moon is the second of two full moons in a calendar month.  It is a time to reflect on the full moon, particularly as it exists in the Otherworld.

Egyptian Gods and Goddesses
All the great civilizations of the world are the treasure-trove of priceless mythological characters, immortal gods and goddesses. Ancient Egypt is no different from any other ancient civilizations like Greece, Sumerian, Rome, India and China; a great civilization like Egypt has its own set of great gods and goddesses that virtually controlled every aspects of daily life of ordinary people. Egyptian gods were so special that even the pharaohs and royal members of great Egypt established their reference to them. In fact, many people though and believed that the great pharaoh himself was the reincarnation of god.
The study of ancient Egypt reveals that there are a number of gods and goddesses each with great power and special characters of their own. Here is a comprehensive list of great god and goddesses of ancient Egypt:

The God: Horus

Also called Hor, Heru and Her. Horus is a legendary falcon-headed god of ancient Egypt. Horus is also probably one of the most important and highly revered gods of the entire Egyptian kingdom; early Egyptians believed that the mighty pharaohs represented the earthly form of the god Horus.
The entire history of Egypt is replete with incidences of great kings and pharaohs, taking the name of Horus as one of their own names. The close of connection of powerful pharaohs with the other god Re, made Horus closely related to Re as well!
Horus is supposed to be the son of Osiris and available texts show that there are more than fifteen significant forms of Horus, whose presence stretched across to more than twenty generations.
There are two special and distinctive forms of Horus:
Solar and Osirian
If Horus happens to be the son of Osiris, then he belongs to the Osirian lineage.
If Horus is not the son of Osiris, then he belongs to the group of solar lineage.
By his childhood, Horus was Harpokrates or “the infant Horus”; available images show that the gods Isis tending the baby form of Horus. Historians also agree to the fact that Horus stunted from waist down, that was probably due to the demise of father either just before the birth or during the labor. Young Horus symbolized youth and freshness by wearing a royal crown and uraeus; there are inscriptions that show that Horus standing on crocodiles and holding scorpions and snakes in both hands.
Other forms of Horus are:
Harmakhis: Here, Horus portrayed himself as the rising sun and personified the resurrection or eternity. The best example is that of the Great Sphinx at the Giza Plateau.
Haroeris: An early form of Horus, Haroeris is the Horus, the elder; with a great level of importance attached to his personality, he was the premium king of the Upper Egypt. Historians also presume that he is either the son or the husband of Hathor. He was also the brother to Osiris and Seth. Horus, the elder also conquered Seth (the king and patron of Lower Egypt) sometimes during 3000 BC. Horus, the elder was a powerful god with a pronounced falcon-head accentuated with the crowns of both the Upper and Lower Egypt. He gave birth to four sons namely, Duamutef, Imsety, Hapi and Qebehsenuef, who represented the domain of creation and rebirth.
Horus Behdety: People living on the edge of the western delta at Behdet revered Horus the elder, with their life and soul. He was the chief defender and protector of Re during his primary and earthly kingship against Seth. He is also a fiery falcon that always flew over the pharaoh during wars and battles.

The Powers of Horus
Horus was considered, and still is, to be the patron god of Egypt.  As god of the sky and of all that the sky contained, Horus ruled the sun, the moon, and the stars.  While there have been different forms of Horus during his time of reign and power in Egypt, he continues to be a forceful deity in many magic spell workings.  As the son of Isis and Osiris, Horus’ importance in magic is hard to refute.
Horus – The Falcon
The earliest form of Horus was the falcon god, a god who hunted and flew through the skies.  The patron deity in Upper Egypt, this form of Horus was thought to be a relative of the king.  In those days, the king was thought to be the physical manifestation of the god while they were alive, but then the king would become a manifestation of Osiris after they died.
God of War
Fighting and bringing force into a magic spell is one of the ways the powers of Horus can be used today.  His aggressive nature allows those using magic to be powerful in their intention.  Though the idea of war is one that seems to be negative in today’s world, the force Horus uses allows magic to be pushed into reality and into being.
Protection of Horus
Horus is also associated with being a god of protection, one who looks over those who worship him.  With his eye, Horus is able to see what needs to be done and then do it quickly and effectively.  In other accounts, Horus has been seen as a child of salvation, the one who is illuminated and who can help to illuminate others.  Using this energy in a magic spell allows a person to find their way, no matter what the question or problem may be.

The Goddess: Hathor
A wild horned cow goddess of eternal love, Hathor also signified happiness and glad tidings throughout the Egyptian kingdom. She was also the god of happiness and good tidings, apart from acting as the custodian of women, dance and music. In the early images and paintings available in the texts, she wears the head of the cow or also as a woman wearing the wild horns of the cow. He also represented things like papyrus reeds, the snakes and a rattle named sistrum.
Very early in the Egyptian myth, she was the mother of Horus; her name, Hathor means the “house of Horus”, which provides us a clue of her link with Horus. The queen of Egypt identified very closely with Hathor, as the queen was the mother to the mighty pharaoh, who is also the living Horus. Legend also provides us an invaluable clue about the immortal power of Hathor; as soon was a child took his birth, seven important Hathors used to come near the bedside to foretell the future and the hour of death of the just born child. Hathors were so considerate that they always used to exchange the ill-fated child with a more fortunate child that lived longer and happier. The group of sisters, as Egyptians knew Hathors, always played tambourines and wore disks and horns of Hathor.
However, The Story of Re tells us that she was the child created by her father Re, as Sekhmet, who was the destroyer of men disobedient to the father. After distressed by seeing the killings, he wanted to stop her killing too many men, but she went on with her habit of killing with out any mercy. As a final effort, Re disguised beer in the form of blood and offered his daughter the pitcher containing beer. As soon as Hathor drank the pitcher full of beer, she became intoxicated and forgot to kill men; later, Hathor became the great god of love and affection. She was active in the parts of Dendera, where she was the goddess of rebirth and fertility, while in the great city of Thebes she was the goddess of death!

The Eye of Horus – Wadjet

The Eye of Ra or the Eye of Horus is the most famous symbol of entire Egyptian kingdom right from the Old civilization to the Modern Age.
Also known as Udjat, Wedjet and Wadjet, it is the most trusted symbol of protection and great Royal power.
This symbol is the sole possession of well-known deities of Horus and Ra.
In simple words, it known as: The Eye of God, the Eye of Ra o, the Eye of Horus.

History of the Eye of Horus
Historically speaking, Horus was the ancient Egyptian sky god representing the sturdy and agile falcon. He was the well-known son of Osiris (who is the god of the underworld) and Isis (mother or supreme goddess). When Osiris was murdered by his own brother, the evil and mean Seth (jackal-headed god of night and destruction), Horus fought Seth in a prolonged battle to seek revenge for his father’s death, winning the epic battle, but losing an eye in the war. The magic of the god of wisdom restores the lost eye and this act allowed Horus to provide Osiris rebirth and salvation in the ugly underworld. The Eye of Horus had some specific properties and characters like:
A pronounced right eye that represented a peregrine falcon’s eye and the distinctive marking around it
A special “teardrop” marking down below the eye
As the “utchat”, it represented the almighty sun
A close association with the sun god Ra
The exact mirror image or the left eye seen as the moon and as god Thoth
The Eye of Horus seems to be indestructible and unbeatable. This strong belief also confirmed that it would result in rebirth.
Fact: This amazing symbol is so special and powerful that only the mighty pharaoh could use it or employ it. The Eye of Horus was the special feature on Tutankhamen’s mummy; it was under the 12th layer of bandages swathing in the mummy.

The Six Parts and Senses of the Eye of Horus
All parts of the Eye of Horus have a specific meaning. It consists of 6 parts that correspond to the six senses: Smell, Sight, Thought, Hearing, Taste and Touch.
The structure of the Eye follows very precise rules and the senses are ordered according to their relevance. It is structured according to the amount of energy that is needed for a specific person to obtain the needed outcome.
The measurement system for volume and capacity in ancient Egypt was measured in heqat. The entire Eye of Horus measured 1 heqat which is 4.8 liters
These are the parts of the EYE and their corresponding associated fraction values (Fraction of a heat).
Smell
This part of the eye symbolizes the nose and represents the sense of smell. Even the shape has similarities to a nose.
Sight
This part of the eye symbolizes the pupil and represents the sense of sight, seeing, and the sensation of light.
Thought
This part of the eye symbolizes the pupil and represents the sense of sight, seeing, and the sensation of light.
Hearing
This part of the eye symbolizes the pupil and represents the sense of sight, seeing, and the sensation of light.
Taste
This part of the eye symbolizes the pupil and represents the sense of sight, seeing, and the sensation of light.
Touch
This part of the eye symbolizes the pupil and represents the sense of sight, seeing, and the sensation of light.
A simple example of importance of the Eye of Horus in mathematical fractions: Consider all sections of the symbol. Each section has a different set of values. The entire Eye  with each part has a total value of 1. In essence, the complete image represents a figure of 63/64, which is rounded off to 1 to make calculation easier. This system also uses the principles of “halves”. For example, half of one equals ½, half of ½ equals ¼, until you arrive at a value of 1/64.
Uses of The Eye of Horus:
Amulets of the Wadjet will endow the person who wears it, with many magical properties.
Dead and deceased could take the amulets to ensure good and safe life in the underworld
Amulets found on mummies provide them safety and security during the journey to the underworld
In mathematics, the Eye fraction relies on the everlasting symbol of the Eye of Horus. In the ancient Egypt, this system recorded prescriptions and measured lands and weighed grains.
The Rx symbol used by pharmacies and physicians has its bearings in the Wadjet
The Eye of Horus in Modern Times
You have seen it many times on my Website. The eye of Horus is one of the most widely recognized symbols in Egyptian magic and mythology.  With the eye looking out, a clearly defined eyebrow, and makeup, this eye seems to be peering into the soul or watching out for those who might wear or use the symbol in their life.
Protection for Others
The most common use of the eye of Horus is protection. This symbol is and was often worn by rulers of the land to help ward off evil spirits as well as enemies who might want to harm the lands over which they ruled.  It was also found in wall paintings and in hieroglyphics.  In modern times, people who wear talismans or use images of the Wadjet in their home may be using this symbol to help improve their safety and their security in life – whether physically or emotionally. Some sailors continue to use this symbol on the front of their boats and ships to help ensure safe passage through troubled waters.
In magic spells it also helps keeping negative energies away and attracting potent positive energies towards the spell and the owner of the talisman.
Different Meanings for Different Scales
Some researchers believe that difference scales or measurements give the eye of Horus different meanings in different contexts.  These meanings can include sight, smell, thought, and hearing.  With each of these meanings in mind, the translation of hieroglyphics can vary depending on other images in the pictures.  In addition, the eye of Horus was often used as a measurement in Egyptian record keeping.
The eye of Horus can be used as a talisman to ward off negative energies or it can be used during a meditation to help in protecting yourself or others.  By having another eye on a situation, you can feel more secure in decisions you make or you may simply begin to ‘see’ the situation for what it truly is.
I hope you now understand why I use the Eye of Horus as my logo as well as a part of my Talismans.
Amulet of the Eye of Horus
The Amulet of the Eye of Horus (Utchat/Udjat/Wadjet) was one of the most common and popular amulets in ancient Egypt.  The word Udjat/Wadjet literally means “Eye”.
The tremendous amount of Udjats/Wadjets which have been found in the thumbs show that it was of utmost importance to the ancient Egyptians.
The Amulet of the Eye of Horus is close to the CLXVIIth Chapter of the Book of the Dead.
To make the best quality amulet, one needed to make it of Lapis-Lazuli, plate it with rich gold, and later offer it to the summer solstice. On the other hand, another needed to be from the jasper class and needs blessings with the specified chapter for placing over any part of the deceased body.
There are tow types of Udjats/Wadjets:
One facing the left direction,
While the other facing the right
These two in conjunction, the twin Eye of Hours, represent the eye of the sun and the eye of the moon.
In ancient scriptures, one of these eyes was white, while the other was black in color. Some historians argue that one eye represents the Sun, while the other signifies the moon or god Ra and Osiris in mythological terms.
The Amulet of the Eye of Horus was made out of several materials like gold, silver, granite, copper,  hæmatite, carnelian, crystals, lapis-lazuli, porcelain, wood, and many kinds of semi-precious stones.
When the Utchat/Wadjet was worn as an amulet is was intended for the following benefits:
Strength
Vitality
Vigor
Courage
Protection
Safety
Excellent health
Riches and name
Sound mind
Physical comfort

Ancient Egyptian Amulets and their Meanings
Amulets were very popular in ancient Egypt and were worn by the living or buried with the dead. The word “amulet” has its roots in the Arabic language and it means “to bear” or “to carry”, however, the common word for “amulet” in the dynastic period was mk-t, which means protector.
In simple words, an amulet is an object that is created for a specific purpose and can be carried on the body or worn in special places on the body like the neck or the arms. All amulets carried a specific type of magical power and were used for anything from love and protection to being implemented in the mummy’s wrappings to prepare and protect the deceased for traveling through the underworld and for protection in the afterlife.
The amulets came in hundreds of different shapes and materials and were believed to have many different powers. They were worn to protect their body and mind not only from the evil effects extorted by invisible forces, but also to gain special magical powers.
Egyptian Amulets and Their Meanings and Definition
Amulet of the Hearts

In ancient Egypt, the heart meant the seat of power and the life. It was also the source of both good and the bad, and in many cases, it mentioned the conscience part of the mind. The heart was a too precious thing to loose and people guarded it with a strong sense of purpose even after the death. During the mummification process, people made it a point to preserve the heart, along with the lungs in a jar or a pitcher, under the protection of Tuamutef. When the heart was removed during mummification The Amulet of Hearts was then placed on the body.
The Book of the Dead mentions this process in an elaborate manner. In fact, this book provides us a few lines of text on how one could conduct the procedures to preserve the heart and lungs.
When the deceased uttered these words of text, it would ensure that:
He or she would obtain the powers needed to survive in the after world,
He would also gain mastery over his heart and mind,
Ultimately, the soul would also acquire the ultimate power to travel, wherever they wanted to and do whatever they wished!
The Book of Dead states the following:
May my heart be with me in the House of Hearts! May my breast be with me in the House of Hearts! May my heart be with me, and may it rest there, or I shall not eat of the cakes of Osiris on the eastern side of the Lake of Flowers, neither shall I have a boat wherein to go down the Nile, nor another wherein to go up, nor shall I be able to sail down the Nile with thee. May my mouth [be given] to me that I may speak therewith, and my two legs to walk therewith, and my two hands and arms to overthrow my foe. May the doors of heaven be opened unto me; may Seb, the prince of the gods, open wide his two jaws unto me; may he open my two eyes which are blindfolded; may he cause me to stretch apart my two legs which are bound together; and may Anpu (Anubis) make my thighs to be firm so that I may stand upon them. May the goddess Sekhet make me to rise so that I may ascend into heaven, and may that which I command in the House of the Ka of Ptah be done. I shall understand with my heart, I shall gain the mastery over my heart, I shall gain the mastery over my two hands, I shall gain the mastery over my legs, I shall have the power to do whatsoever my ka (i.e., double) pleaseth. My soul shall not be fettered to my body at the gates of the underworld, but I shall enter in and come forth in peace.
This text also mentions the presence of two other gods, Ptah and Sekhet. Most probably, there are indications that the noble priests of Memphis created this text. The Papyrus of Nekhtu-Amen also mentions amulets created out of precious stones like Lapis Lazuli that contained many good qualities of amulets. Historical evidence also mentions these priests writing the LXIVth Chapter of the Book of the Dead, by using the fine crystals of Lapis Lazuli (most probably during the reins of Hesep-ti, king of Egypt about B.C. 4300).
Early Egyptians believed that monsters could snatch and steal their heart and lungs, which made them extremely cautious about the sanctity of their hearts. To ensure the safety of the heart, priests also composed almost seven chapters (Nos. XXVII., XXVIII, XXIX, XXIXA, XXX, XXXA, and XXXB) to enable people save and protect their hearts. The XXVIIth Chapter deals with a heart amulet made of a white, semi-transparent stone, and it reads detailed inscriptions magical chanting to protect one’s heart.
One more chapter, XXIXB, deals with the heart amulet created out of a material called Carneilan and this amulet also provides magical verses that provided protection to the heart elements. In all incidences, god Osiris  and Re were the chief protectors of the heart and lungs. Another Chapter XXXB connected with Herutâtâf, the son of Khufu (Cheops), a man well known for his great intellect and wisdom, is also a great source for magic. Here, the magical words recited over a hard faced, green stoned scarab or amulet ensured safety for the heart and other important constituents of the body.
The god Osiris had a profound influence over these procedures and during the ceremony he made it sure that he would be in the Judgment Hall. During the procedure, he also oversaw the weighing of the heart in a balance against the purported symbolism of truth and right. The Amulet of the Heart had a significant and decisive role in the funeral procedures for the dead and deceased Egyptians.

Amulet of the Scarab

A Scarab is a unique insect that influenced the entire Egyptian civilization for many thousands of years. In fact, the basic idea of using a scarab as an instrument of amulet goes as far back as the time of the building of the Pyramids in the early Egyptian times. It was also true that a scarab always represented many set of beliefs that were older even those early periods of ancient Egypt.
To the ancient Egyptians the Scarab was one of the most potent of all amulets and symbolized the sun, protection, transformation and resurrection.
It is a wide spread belief that the physical heart and lungs are very important for an afterlife and to protect these vital organs from theft and robbery, Egyptians employed magical and supernatural powers of the heart amulet. Egyptians also believed that the importance of body with respect to its perceived source of life and its transition to new life of afterworld. As a result, ancient Egyptians believed in the sanctity of the body of the dead.
One particular sect of ancient priests believed that the amulets of hearts were after all, stone heart that might not be safe enough to provide security to the heart. Thus, they believed that scarab or a beetle possessed remarkable prowess and magical powers to provide enough level of security. They also believed that an amulet made out of a scarab, with proper words of power written on it might ensure maximum safety to the dead souls. It will also provide a brand new life and energy to them, when they enter the harsh after-life. In addition, a scarab is a typical symbols of god Khepera that invisible power which propelled the sun across the deep sky.
The variety of beetle used for copying amulets was the dung feeding and tropical, Lamellicorns, which have a streak of dark blue color on their body and in some extreme cases a rich variety of other colors. Anatomically speaking, these beetles have the extraordinary ability to a distinctive walking style. In addition, they also have a different set of anatomical features that do not exist in other beetles.
Mythological and religious connotations imply that such beetles had their own special characters that made them revered during the early and middle Egyptian periods. All scarabs of Egypt used to fly during the hottest parts of the day and when they flew, it was easy to see their full body parts. In fact, Egyptians identified this phase in the development in a scarab’s life cycle with that of the sun and his solar phases.
Early Egyptians also believed that scarabs represented and symbolized the germs of life, while the ball of scarab eggs signified the appearance of the sun itself. God Khepera made the sun to roll across the sky and this act of rolling was synonymous with the rolling actions of the scarab. Thus, the name kheper means “the one who rolls over again and again”. The god Khepera also symbolized inert, but living physical matter and thus he was a god of resurrection as well!

On the other hand, Egyptians believed that dead human body contained germs of life, which they invoked by reciting special prayers on the day of the funeral. In this aspect, the ball of eggs and the idea of dead body are almost similar. As the scarab provided potential life and energy to the eggs, Egyptians believed it was the symbol of the god Khepera, who also provided life to the deceased body with words of power.
Since time immemorial, scarabs represented life and freshness in both Sudan and Egypt (just check out those religious practices among nomadic people of Egypt and Sudan who still consume dried extracts of scarabs to enhance their generation!). A brief magical procedure that was in vogue was:
Cutting off the heads and wings of a large scarab,
Boiling the scarab in hot water and later in oil,
Warming the boiled head and wings and steep them in the oil of a serpent,
Consumption of the resulting mixture to drive away evil spirits and sorcery
Right now, there are hundreds of thousands of scarab amulets available in the nooks and corners of modern day Egypt. Scarab amulets are available in several varieties and forms like:
green basalt,
green granite,
limestone,
green marble,
blue paste,
blue glass,
purple, blue and green glazed porcelain
In each of these scarabs, one can find words of power etched neatly on the upper surface. In some rare cases, you can also find scarab amulets with a human face or a mane. In extremely rare cases, one can also find out scarabs with the boat of Râ, of the Bennu bird, “the soul of Râ,” and of the eye of Horus.
Some scarab amulets could also be:
Green colored amulets set in gold with a pronounced band across and down the back surface where the two wings join.
In other cases, one can also find the whole back glided, with its base covered with a shining plate of gold, on which priest etch the words of power.
In some extreme cases, there are scarab amulets with a heart like base signifying the close relation between the heart and scarab.
The oldest known and the most famous green stone funeral scarab amulet is probably the one that is in the British Museum; this is from a region called Kûrna near Thebes and it belongs to the period of the XIth dynasty, dating back to about B.C. 2600.
Once the ancient Egyptian recognized the importance of scarabs in the funerary procedures, the habit of using them as ornaments, by living persons arrived as a popular fashion. As a result, hundreds of artisans started creating different varieties of scarabs for their clients. Very soon, the usage of scarabs spread across to other parts of Asia that bordered the great Mediterranean Sea.
Amulet of the Buckle
The Knot of Isis  looks similar to and represents the girdle of Isis. It is also known as the Girdle of Isis, the Buckle of Isis, the Blood of Isis., and as the tjet  or tjed.
The origin of the Knot if Isis is not known. It is often translated to mean welfare or life and symbolizes the power and strength of the Goddess Isis. It is said to possess the magical powers to protect the wearer, living or dead, from every kind of evil, including protection from sickness and negative influences.
As early as the third dynasty this symbol was used as decoration and it appears both with the ankh symbol as well as the djed column. Later it appears with the scepter as well. It has to be mentioned that the Knot of Isis is much older as it already appeared as early as the Predynastic Period.
The Buckle of Isis appears on  many items that are associated with funerals and burials, as well as sarcophagi und shrines.
How the Amulet of the Buckle was Prepared and Used
The procedure for placing this amulet over the deceased body was very simple; it needed a lengthy dipping in ankham flower rich water with words from the chapter of the Buckle recited continuously chanted during dipping process. This supernatural amulet provided the dead, a guaranteed protection of the blood of Isis and her words of immense power.
Several materials like carnelian, red jasper and red hued glass form the base for these amulets. Costlier amulets included gold and other substances covered with gold sheen. The Knot of Isis has a close relation to the CLVIth chapter of the Book of the Dead.
It states as followed:The blood of Isis, and the strength of Isis, and the words of power of Isis shall be mighty to act as powers to protect this great and divine being, and to guard him from him that would do unto him anything that he holdeth in abomination.
and Spell 156 states:
You possess your blood, Isis, you possess your power, Isis, you possess your magic, Isis. The amulet is a protection for this Great One, which will drive off anyone who would perform a criminal act against him.
Amulet of the Tet
The Amulet of the Tet symbolizes the resurrection of Osiris and is a symbol of rebirth, new life and hope. It is the oldest symbol of Osiris and considered the counterpart of the ankh symbol.  The word tet means preservation, balance, firmness and stability.
It has four cross bars that indicate four important cardinal points and the four branches of the World-tree. It was a revered object in the entire Egypt and symbolized the top most religious priority for the Egyptians. It also signified the establishment of Djed at a place called Busiris; this action formed the reconstituting of the mortal remains of Osiris.
The Amulet of the Tet represents a tree that grew by the casket of Osiris  and also the represents the place where the goddess Isis hid the dead corpse of her husband. It was also used as pillar in a Byblos palace.
The ancient Egyptians used the amulet to help in the transformation of human flesh into the spiritual form assumed by the deceased in eternity.
The Tet (djed) symbol is also known as the Backbone of the Egyptian god Osiris and the Emblem of the Mystery. The earliest source of the Djed is the ancient Delta town of Djedu. They called their town the birthplace of Osiris. Per Usir (Busiris) means “The Emergence of Osiris”.
The Amulet of the Tet used as an amulet
This significant amulet relates to the CLVth Chapter of the Book of the Dead. It reads as followed:
Rise up thou, O Osiris! Thou hast thy backbone, O Still-Heart! Thou hast the fastenings of thy neck and back, O Still-Heart! Place thou thyself upon thy base, I put water beneath thee, and I bring unto thee a Tet of gold that thou mayest rejoice therein.Just like the Amulet of the Buckle, this amulet needed to be immersed in ankhem rich water and was then laid upon the neck of the deceased or where the mummy’s spine would rest. This solemn process provided an immense power to reconstitute the body, to become a well formed Khu (i.e., spirit) on the underworld. It should also bring the resurrection of the deceased, allowing their life to be eternal und their fertility to be undiminished.
Amulet of the Pillow
This rare amulet is in the shape of a pillow or head-rest and placed under the neck of the mummy within the coffin. Its main purpose is to lift and protect the sensitive head of the deceased in the Other World and to prevent  the decapitation of their heads.
The Amulet of the Pillow was worn by the dead as a protective talisman and also to produce sleep and peace.
It is made of hematite, a dark reddish-black stone, and ocassionally hosts the text from the CLXVIth Chapter and Spell 167 of the Book of the Dead:
Thou art lifted up, O sick one that liest prostrate. They lift up thy head to the horizon, thou art raised up, and dost triumph by reason of what hath been done for thee. Ptah hath overthrown thine enemies, which was ordered to be done for thee. Thou art Horus, the son of Hathor, . . . who givest back the head after the slaughter. Thy head shall not be carried away from thee after [the slaughter], thy head shall never, never be carried away from thee.
Amulet of the Vulture

The Amulet of the Vulture (Ner-t) possesses the extreme powers of Isis, and it acts as the divine mother that provides protection for the dead and deceased.
On the day of the funeral the Amulet of Vulture was tied around the neck to give the dead the strength and fierceness that Isis possessed when she wandered the papyrus swamp lands of the Delta in the form of a vulture.
It contains gold as the raw material and is in the form of a vulture flying in the high air, with an outstretched pair of wings. In each of the claws, it holds a tau cross with a circle at the apex, a unique symbol of life. Priests used to place this amulet over the neck of the deceased and it relates closely to the CLVIIth Chapter of the Book of the Dead:
Isis cometh and hovereth over the city, and she goeth about seeking the secret habitations of Horus as he emergeth from his papyrus swamps, and she raiseth up his shoulder which is in evil case. He is made one of the company in the divine boat, and the sovereignty of the whole world is decreed for him. He hath warred mightily, and he maketh his deeds to be remembered; he hath made the fear of him to exist and awe of him to have its being. His mother the mighty lady, protecteth him, and she hath transferred her power unto him.
Amulet of the Collar of Gold
The Amulet of the Collar of Gold is also called The Collar of Pectoral (Usekh-t). It was tied to the neck of the deceased and provided an immense strength and power to free oneself from the surrounding swathing. It also provided freedom from all fetterings about the neck.
A priest conducts a ritual by placing the CLVIIIth Chapter of the Book of the Dead over the neck of the dead on the day of the funeral.
Being very rare, this special amulet found its bearing in the period of the XXVIth dynasty, about B.C. 550.
The text reads:
O my father, my brother, my mother Isis, I am unswathed, and I see. I am one of those who are unswathed and who see the god Seb.
The Amulet of the Papyrus Scepter gave the dead endurance, renewed energy, youth, vitality and vigor, and all the qualities of the growing papyrus plant to survive the ordeals of the after life.
Materials like mother-of-emerald, light green or blue porcelain formed the base of this amulet. It was worn as a pendant or tied around the neck of the deceased and often inscribed with the text of the CLIXth Chapter of the Book of the Dead.
As a gift of Thoth, it was supposed to protect the limbs and confer eternal youth on the dead.
It is in sound state, and I am in sound state; it is not injured, and I am not injured; it is not worn away, and I am not worn away.
When the priests started reading the text, the amulet was placed over the neck on the funeral day.
After the 27th dynasty the amulet began to represents the powers of the Goddess Isis who derived her power from her father, the husband of Renenutet, the goddess of nourishment and abundant harvest.

Amulet of the Soul

The Amulet of the Soul was used to enable the soul to unite with the mummified body and for the soul to remain with the body of the deceased.
It acted as a medium between the body and the spirit (khi)
The Amulet of the Soul is created of gold that is inlaid with precious stones in the form of human-headed hawk wearing a beard.
Once the words of the LXXXIXth Chapter of the Book of the Dead had been recited over it, it was placed over the breast of the dead.
It says:
Hail, thou god Anniu! Hail, thou god Pehrer, who dwellest in thy hall! Grant thou that my soul may come unto me from wheresoever it may be. If it would tarry, then let my soul be brought unto me from wheresoever it may be. . . . Let me have possession of my soul and of my spirit, and let me be true of voice with them wheresoever they may be. . . . Hail, ye gods, who tow along the boat of the lord of millions of years, who bring it above the underworld, and who make it to travel over Nut, who make souls to enter into their spiritual bodies, . . . grant that the soul of the Osiris may come forth before the gods, and that it may be true of voice with you in the east of the sky, and follow unto the place where it was yesterday, and enjoy twofold peace in Amentet. May it look upon its natural body, may it rest upon its spiritual body, and may its body neither perish nor suffer corruption for ever!
Amulet of the Ladder
The Amulet of the Ladder (maq-t) was believed to provide the deceased a safe passage from the earth to the floor of heaven and it symbolizes the divine help of reaching the heavenly world of the afterlife.
Many ancient tombs from the early and middle civilizations reveal plenty of small objects of wood and other similar materials. However, their significance or the usage is still not clear. Nevertheless, the wall art and inscriptions found in the tombs of Unas, Teta, Pepi, and other early kings, reveal that Egyptians believed the floor of the heaven has a large number of iron plates that are rectangular. The four stable corners of this platform rested upon four pillars that made the cardinal points of the heaven. Legends inform us that gods, the blessed dead people resided over this plate, and it was the ultimate duty of every Egyptian to reach this point soon after the death.
However, on certain strategic points, the edge of the plate was very close to the steep tops of hills that a dead soul might easily climb up and reach the heavens. However, other places were too far from the edges of the mountains that eventually made the travel very difficult to the dead. Now, they needed help from someone, so that the climbing became easier. There is a stern belief that even Osiris  experienced difficulty in then travel and he had to seek help from his father Ra to climb up the steep gradient.
Ra provided a sturdy ladder to his son Osiris, so that he could climb up the ladder very easily. Horus and Seth  stood guard on one side of the ladder, while Osiris himself monitored the other side. The importance of ladder is in considerable detail in the Theban Recension of the Book of the Dead. The Chapter CXLIX of the book has many chanting that helped the amulet of ladder placed near the casket. However, in the later period, priests started using a painted ladder on the papyri with inscribed texts from the Book of the Dead and both buried together.
Amulet of Two Fingers

The Amulet of the Two Fingers (dje-baui) represents two fingers, the index and medius. After the mummy’s internal organs were removed the Amulet of the Two Fingers was placed close to the incisions just before the embalming. It is believed that the amulet was either used to reaffirm the embalming process, or to hold the incisions sealed to prevent evil forces from entering the body.
In some cases the Amulet of the Two fingers was placed loose in the coffin or among the wrapping of the mummy to symbolize the two fingers of god Horus that helped his father Osiris up the steep ladder all the way up to the heavens. It was believed that the two fingers were a symbol of strength and power. The Pyramid Texts of Pepi state: “two fingers of the Lord of de Ladder”, referring to Horus who helped Osiris to reach the sky.
They were made of obsidian and hematite, or other dark hard stones. A hard material was used because it is symbolic with endurance, while the black color is associated with the Underworld. This ensured that the magical powers lasted for eternity.
Ankh Amulet

The Ankh is one of the oldest amuletic signs used by the dynastic Egyptians. Its origin and the purported usage is still a deep mystery; nevertheless, it signifies and symbolizes “everlasting life”, “life”, “living” and also “life which cannot die”.
It was worn by the living and the dead and was often combined with the was-sceptre and the djed.
In Egyptian myth, it rises from the Tet and its arms support the sun. It was created from many different types of materials, such as wood, metal, different stones, and wax.
Every god and goddess possessed the Ankh Amulet and the paintings on the tomb walls show the gods offering “eternal life” to the king.
The Amulet of Nefer

The Amulet of Nefer signifies good luck, youth, extreme happiness, joy, strength, and good tidings.
The word nefer means good, beautiful and represents a musical instrument, the lute.
As an amulet for the dead it was used to extend good wishes for happiness in the afterlife.
It was also common practice to drink water from a nefer shaped bottle or vase to attract beauty, happiness, good fortune and joy into their lives.
It was made of materials like carnelian, red stone and red porcelain and was a popular as pendants and necklaces.
Amulet of the Serpent’s Head

The Amulet of the Serpent’s head provided protection against the bite of the cobra and other venomous snakes and was worn by the living as well as the dead. It chased away poisonous snakes from biting the dead in the dark and ugly underworld! The amulet was made of red stone, red jasper, red paste, and carnelian.
The great power of the goddess Isis came in to play while placing this amulet in the tomb.  Isis’ power could chase away bad and poisonous snakes from the tomb.
The power to vanquish the snakes comes from the Chapter XXXIVth Chapter of the Book of the Dead that contains the text necessary for invoking the magical powers.
The text reads:
O Serpent! I am the flame which shineth upon the Opener of hundreds of thousands of years, and the standard of the god Tenpu
or as others say
…the standard of young plants and flowers. Depart ye from me, for I am the divine Lynx
Amulet of the Menat
The Amulet of the Menat symbolizes joy, health and happiness. It was always worn by Ptah, the creator god, at the back of his neck and it is sometimes also used as a symbol of the goddess Hathor.
It was used in ancient Egypt from the period of Sixth dynasty and has always been a favored amulet of the gods, kings, priests and priestesses.
It is visible in their hands, but it could be on their neck and hands as well!
It was made out of stone, bronze, porcelain, and other materials. When placed on the dead body during the funeral ceremonies it was intended  to bring to it the power of life and reproduction.
The Amulet of the Menat represents:
Joy and happiness
Health and a sound mind
Nutrition
Strength
Magical properties
Amulet of Sam

The Amulet of the Sam (or Sma) is believed that it symbolizes an internal organ of the deceased.
It was found buried in the the swathing of mummies or inside of the body to give the deceased the power to breath.
The primary meaning of this very ancient amulet resided in “union” and animal pleasure and refers to pleasure in the afterlife.
It was most often made out of or craved in Lapis lazuli and other hard substances, such as dark basalt or other dark stones.
Amulet of the Shen

The Amulet of the Shen symbolizes the sun’s orbit and the sun bringing “eternity”, as well as the all-encirceling power of the sun god.
As an amulet for eternity it was placed on the body of the deceased with the intention of providing it with a life that endures as long as the sun took revolutions in the orbit in the high heavens.
The Amulet of the Shen was made out of carnelian or Lapis lazuli.
When used as a symbol it was often painted and craved into coffins and walls.
Amulet of the Steps

The amulet of the Steps (Khet) is associated with resurrection and symbolizes:
A lift to the high heavens
The throne of Osiris
As per a legend, god Shu, the god of wind and air wished to raise the goddess Nut, the goddess of the sky  from the vice like embrace of god Seb, he discovered that he was not tall enough to lift her. To make this possible, he used the steps to reach the top.
The Amulet of the Steps is usually made of green, blue or white glazed faience or porcelain.

Amulet of the Frog

This meaningful amulet hints at burgeoning life and resurrection.
The great frog headed goddess Heqt was the wife of Khnum and she signified the great qualities of rebirth and resurrection.
When placed over the dead body of the deceased, the soul will receive the extraordinary powers of resurrection in the next incarnation.
The frog is the symbolic animal of the upper part of the Egypt and this animal represents the resurrection by telling people “I am the resurrection”.
Many tombs and coffins contain these amulets, while the others are in the different types of crowns of Egypt.
It is still unclear why Egyptians used such an ornament over their bodies, though it seems people designed them to protect the owner from savage animals and dangerous serpents. With the passage of time, people invented and designed different types of amulets for different purposes; some of the amulets were purely for protecting the owners, while the others to preserve and protect the dead.
Under the far-reaching influence of amulets and talisman, a dead body wore a number of amulets designed specifically to perform several duties. These amulets also protected the deceased body from fungus, mildew, serpents, bacteria, decay and putrefaction. In all, the exact purpose and the use are still under doubt, as amulets existed since 4000 BC; an amulet’s origin is still a deep mystery.
There are two basic types of amulets:
Those that carry a series of magical formulae and verses,
Those do not carry any magical formulae or verses.
The History of Egyptian Amulets
In the ancient times, priests recited prayers and verses to strengthen the amulets with super natural powers. The earliest name found on the amulets is hekau or words of power; it was necessary to provide these words of power to the deceased or dead souls. A special section on these amulets tells us about how they made the supernatural powers to come to the diseased souls whichever the place they lived in.
Egyptian amulets have a varied and colorful history; the most ancient amulets are small pieces of green hued schist and they came with a wide variety of shapes and sizes, including animals. These amulets came for use during funeral procedures, when the priests placed selected amulets over the chest of the dead bodies. Such amulets are very common in the pre historic graves of Egypt. This establishes the undeniable fact that there was indeed a pronounced religious cult existing during that time. It is unlikely that Egyptians of the later periods, especially post 1000BC, used these amulets for religious purposes. However, from the prehistoric periods to the late Fifth Dynasty, the usage of amulets was very common.
In the later part of the 3rd millennium BC, people discarded animal shaped amulets and replaced them with those that were regular shaped, more often rectangular in shape, with figures of animals etched over the upper surface. There are recorded evidences to suggest that Egyptians used a green colored schist amulet on the breast of the dead bodies and this provides a vital clue that such a kind of amulet is possibly a remnant of the prehistoric period.
Egyptians also used papyrus sheets to record and write down hekaku, or supernatural words of power and magic, which is probably much older than inscribing them over the amulets. Inscriptions on the walls of the old pyramid of Unas, one of the earliest kings of Egypt (3300BC), mentions that a book with magical verses was laid along with the body of the deceased king.
The ancient history of Egypt mentions the extensive use of many types of amulets and their usage spread well over four or five millennia before the advent of Christ. Here are some of the most interesting amulets used throughout the known history of Egypt.

Egyptian Zodiac Signs
Though the ancient Egyptians had a tremendous knowledge of the twelve zodiac signs, they did not actually invent them; it is a popular belief that the zodiac signs go to the credit of ancient Babylonians, while Egyptians leaned the signs from the Greeks during the famed Ptolemaic period.
Egyptians differentiated their zodiacal system, by assigning them different shapes than the ones commonly used today.
Ancient Egyptian Astrology
In a classical Egyptian calendar, the months are segregated into three sub sections called “decades”, each with ten different days. Ancient Egyptians created a system of decans which are actually the famed stars like Sirius and Orion; the helical rising of these stars match the first day of the 36 successive decades. In any one single night, the sequence of twelve decans rise and such a sequence can help in counting the hours.

Early Egyptians halved the day into temporal hours, whose total length relied upon the exact time of the year. A typical summer hour along with longer period of day light, should be longer than that of a typical winter day. Surprisingly, Egyptians were the first people, who divided the standard day into 24 temporal hours and after this invention, Egyptians used the hours of the day, to create astronomical charts and drawings.
The ancient Egyptians calculated the time, by using a number of tools and instruments, especially the shadow clock (these became the subsequent sundials of Romans and Greeks). Early shadow cocks of Egypt based its measurement of time on checking the shadow from a bar crossing four distinctive marks that represented hourly gap initiated from two hours into the day. However, it was quite difficult to observe the movement of sun and stars with this tool. Hence, Egyptians invented another ingenious tool called the water clock or clepsydra to measure time. Egypt provides some of the best-kept water clocks in the Temple of Karnak, dating back to the 15th century BC.
However, temporal hours of the day were of little use to astronomers of the day. Around 127 BC, Hipparchus of Niceae, proposed segregating the day into 24 equinoctial hours. In the succeeding days, the method of dividing the day became finer and accurate, when another Alexandrian based philosopher, Claudius Ptolemeus, divided the equinoctial hour into 60 minutes. Egyptian astronomical influence stretched across to Greek and Roman empires, when Claudius Ptolemeus compiled a comprehensive catalogue of over two thousand stars and forty-eight constellations.
Egyptians also have a very accomplished zodiacal system that provides excellent forecast and personal destinies:

The Practice of Heka and Egyptian Magic

The magical power of Egypt was the sole prerogative of royalty and royal priests; however, some mean elements did use the magical powers for ill-gotten gains and wealth. The world of magic had a pragmatic approach and the principles applied to achieve the main goals of human, spirits, dead and gods.
Just consider the magnificent feats of the following gods:
Ptah: Creation of the world
Amon: Self Fertilization
Khnum: Shaping of men and women by using clay
All these great deeds were impossible without the help of great magical powers! The dead and their abode are too important for deceased, these places needed security and protection from evil forces, and heka did provide them with its stupendous powers. Amulets of various sorts were the essential part of the Egyptian heka, and everyone ensured that they had at least one of them on their bodies. Healing was also a magical art and heka ensured that everyone got their cure from a variety of afflictions and diseases. The power of heka could be anything in its nature; it could be too good or it could also be bad and evil. Some people used it for their personal gains, while others used the magical powers of heka to help many people.
Preparing for a Ritual and Spell
The practice of heka needed many days of preparation and readiness; the person who conducted the rituals collected all the materials needed for the function before hand. In most cases, an auspicious day and time was the need of the hour, as Egyptians believed in the importance of good and bad days. The place where the magical rituals conducted came in consultation with the elders, and this place used to be a secretly hidden chamber or a cave. In fact, every aspect was to be ritually pure, so that the results were effective and authentic. Implements and tools used for the rituals too needed to be pure and fresh.
Spells and Rituals
The magical words, spoken either silently or in a loud manner were the real means to influence other spiritual beings and make them listen to the orders. Speech always initiated many actions, which were either symbolic or gesture like. Action like execration meant piercing of a figurine with needles or knives, spitting, or burning. Priests gave immense importance to the diverse names of the invoked gods or spirits, names hidden in the labyrinth of underworld. Every name recited must be precise in intonation and spelling; wrong intonation never yielded any results. The sequence needed to be right and in its entirety.
Most of these intonations and utterances lasted seven times with a loud voice. More often, the situation also demanded repetitions and frequent reiterations. The numbers too had their own importance; in many cases, priests made sure that these numbers were in the right context. The need for heka was even greater among the dead than that of the living beings. When a person died, he became helpless in world full of evil spirits, organ snatchers and demonic influences. To protect dead souls, Sekhmet priests made sure that they provide protection to the dead souls, by conducting a series of funerary rituals and procedures. These rituals and spells are some of the well-known Egyptian treasure houses of knowledge and wisdom. For example, the Opening of the Mouth ceremony was a classical example of Egyptian could achieve with their magical powers; this unique rituals consisted of spells necessary for warding off dangers and evil acts unleashed by invisible spirits of the underworld.
Addressing Powerful Gods
Dealing with great gods and goddesses was a difficult act, as the gods were so powerful to be mistreated! Every magical act performed intended to please a series of gods and to get real benefit of their wishes and blessings. Hymns of praise and worship were the essential things required to please gods and even today, many tombs provide invaluable examples of these prayers. Selected food items and drinks also formed the essential things needed to please gods.
Invoking and dismissing powers
Many inferior spirits and demonic influences did not require the same level of courtesy and worship as compared to gods. Such things needed summary dismissals, so that they never bothered or troubled again! In a series of steps, these evil influences needed invocation, so that they could be either exorcized or pacified, before they were cast off to the netherworld. Several chants and verses form the base of invocation and dismissal. Priests used to offer many sacrificial things and items to these forced to make them satiated and satisfied.
Invoking Spiritual and Cosmic Forces
Egypt is the most revered star gate for very high-energy resources and cosmic powers. The Ancient Egyptians considered Egypt as a staircase to the great heaven, by reproducing and redesigning a comprehensive map of the stars onto the great Temples on Earth. Egypt also holds critical keys and buttons to cosmic wisdom that makes us so energetic and vital! The ancient Egyptians understood the principles of star energy and starlight in their daily lives. They also knew the wonderful and rejuvenating energy of stars and their impact on the well-being of people and animals on the earth. Egyptians considered the great star Sirius, as the harbinger of good and excellence both on the land and people. Sirius also offered a great source of spiritual enlightenment and a holy way to reach the cherished destiny of the afterworld and personal immortality and salvation. A harmonious cosmology was the creation of ancient Egyptian rituals and the completely spiritual mechanism was to provide people a direct access to cosmic liberation. Egyptians always constructed great structures that provided an equation to establish a harmonious relation with the universe. Egyptians used their intellect and engineering skills to align great buildings like pyramids and temples with the great stars and established them within the axis of great spiritual space.
There are many instances of Sep Tepi, where the great gods traversed a wide expanse of path on the land and across to the great heaven. Egypt is the great center of spiritual awakening and cosmic liberation where the past experts and sages speak their mind out to teach people invaluable lesson in cosmic sciences and the management of cosmic energy.
The Egyptian god of Thoth was a great scholar as well! He was also an accomplished alchemist, magician and a seasoned spokesperson of wisdom. In fact, Thoth wrote a magnificent book called the Emerald Tablet that provides sophisticated spiritual technology combined with superior cosmic sciences. This wonderful text also gives us a series of steps to achieve personal transformation on different levels of spiritual maturity.

Introduction to Heka

The magical word of Heka could mean several meanings to many people. Each of these meanings also signifies many faces of complex Egyptian magic  and the occult.
Heka seems to be the divine gift of the sun god Re in an honor to the humankind. It is a clear manifestation of the great and creative energy as a representation of Re’s soul.
He empowered men to express gratitude for the sun god’s creation of the universe and this was possible only by using many words and several actions.
The earliest meaning of heka dates back to almost 4000 years; the basic functions of heka is detailed in the text called the Instruction for Merikara, the Middle Kingdom teaching and treatise of the Pharaoh Amenemhet I (2000 BCE). He describes heka as:
He (Re) provided them the heka as a great weapon in order to protect people from the dangerous effects of evil spirits.
Fact: Heka is the great creative force or life supporting energy that connects the subjects, resources and other symbols of life with the almighty universe, which a magician must attempt to learn in order to work magic in an effective way.
Heka, the Inherent Energy
When you look into living beings, heka is the inherent energy that is both aural and magical in nature. Mana is the personal power found in every living being. Original school of mythological beliefs tells us that each animal and plant has its own special amount of heka. The great kings and pharaohs of ancient Egypt also had plenty of heka, as did ordinary citizens of the country, though with varying amounts.
Reddish tinged hair was the symbol of great heka powers because of the pronounced magical powers attached with the said color. Right from the middle Ages, the practice of heka was open to anyone who wished to follow it. To pursue the art of heka, one needed literacy and a basic knowledge of numbers and one need not belong to the class of aristocracy or priesthood.
Divine Magic and Heavenly Magic
In fact, heka was the god itself and heka was the lord of divine magic; some people also call it the divine personification of heavenly magic. Some times, heka is also visible as an image containing a bearded man wearing a lion headdress. Another meaningful definition is in the funerary spell number 261 of the Coffin Text, sourced from a Middle Kingdom, sarcophagus. This spell is entitled as “To become the god heka” and the text provides an invaluable insight on the extraordinary powers of heka.
Historians generally agree that the word heka is interchangeable to many other meanings; available records from 1000 BC onwards, show that heka represented god and power. Visual images also provide a graphical account of lion headed goddess of Sekhmet, which indicates the close association of the present day gods with the magical kingdom of heka.
The Ultimate Force of Animation and Manifestation
In other words, heka also signifies consecration of universal energy that in turn refers to the god’s ability to empower humans with creative thoughts and reactions and later convert them into their physical formations in the mortal world. Thus, heka is a powerful force that serves as the ultimate force of animation and manifestation of every known and available ritual or ceremony. The magical use of amulets or in perspective with Sau, the term heku is very indicative of an image provided with a form and then fill it up with the power of heka.
Just like any other religion, even ancient Egypt had its own dosage of magical powers that sought to animate every form of creation. Egyptian heka is very old and extremely powerful with its suggestive symbolic gestures and actions. The principle of magic was very common in the ancient empires of Egypt and everyone considered it a real force. Egyptian heka influenced several civilizations of the world, more so the great empires of Asia Minor, Rome and Greece. The Egyptian god Thoth is synonymous with the Greek Hermes Trismegistus, who was also the deity for wisdom and learning.

Many other spells required the application of special foodstuffs, aromatic plants and oils, wax and glue figurines, talismans made from biological materials like Arabic gum and other similar substances.
Plants and Herbs used for Magic
Early Egyptians were very proficient in using a number of herbs and plants for occult and magical purposes. Most of the ornamental plants found their use, when one wanted to cast a love spell. On the other hand, priests used biological materials of animal origin, while casting spells to drive out evil spirits and demonic influences. Here are some plants and herbs used regularly for magical rituals:

People burned Myrrh herb and frankincense plant for many magical rituals, as was the special Anubis-plant for casting love and passion spells. Magicians also used plenty of incense sticks mixed with Turpentine and styrax (storax), a fragrant gum from selected herbs.
It is a well-known fact that many Egyptian plants are important and critical ingredients in developing love spells, love potions and effective aphrodisiacs, monetary spells, protection, security spells, and they play an important role in the harmony of love and relationship.

The use of a particular biological material depended on the type of magical result desired by the person. Here are some of the most popular biological materials used for magical rituals:
Blood
This was (it is no longer used) probably the most important biological material used for both good and bad magical rituals; royal priests used blood for casting off evil influences and demonic forces troubling the royal palace, while inferior occultists used it for ulterior motives like cheating and fraud. The most common source of blood was the one extracted from fowls and goats. Once the blood pools up in the vessel, magic spell-caster may mix the warm blood (with hoopoes, nightjars, worms, puppies and geese extracts), semen, oil and water. Many a time, a priest may also use a woman’s menstrual blood for the purpose.Animal matter
A person who is carrying out the magical ceremony may also use animal matter like head shavings of a dead man, crocodile eggs, gall bladder of gazelle and liver portion of hens. Though it looked very ugly to carry out this act, people believed in the efficacy of such a ceremony. (No longer used in modern Egyptian Magic)
Hair strands
However, the most popular biological matter is the hair strands of the person who needed a spell. More often, the ritual expert wanted hair strands with their roots.
Nail pieces
Nail pieces of enemies and traitors are probably the most suitable biological materials for magical purposes.
Tear Drops
They contain many sub materials needed for casting spells.

Spell Casting in Egyptian Magic and Heka

Right through the ancient Egyptian history, an important focus of magical ritual activities focused on developing a set of effective magical spell casting procedures to protect one or to bring misery to others. In a book called Book “Overthrowing Apep”, the most critical and important section, as far as magical principles are concerned, is the Papyrus Bremner-Rhind of 4th century BC. This monumental work consists of several sub sections that deal with basic principles of magic, spell casting processes and procedures. This section also deals with several types of verbal expressions (or spells) and physical actions (spell casting techniques). These important details join together to form what as Egyptian spell casting techniques and procedures. These principles in Toto form the ceremonial aspects of Egyptian magic.
Each of these procedures form a well composed ritual, with a string of threat formulae and occult like utterances, all combines with a series of specific symbolic gestures and techniques. In combination, these procedures formed the core of the Egyptian magic.
Here are some of the most famous techniques and procedures that helped people to cast spells:
Spells and Conjurations
In Egyptian magical procedures, spells and conjurations are the most important aspects of a magical ritual. In many cases, critical importance of spell casting is identifiable with a term called heka with a well-defined spoken word. Almost every magic ritual of ancient Egypt deals with a well-spoken magical speech that formed an effective channel to deliver, disperse, activate and reinforce both the magical capabilities and other connoted magical techniques.
Fact: The special meaning of magical processes along with highly calibrated force, within a literary structure of magical utterances, resulted in mobilization and transmission of certain unique powers and reactions in the course of the ceremony.
Egyptian magic always relied on the words of power, whose unique pronunciation, diction could elicit specific forces and powers from the perceived mythical world into the present, and a particular situation the magician needed to confront with. These words of power always depended on verbal jargon and the mode of utterance or delivery. Occult sounding language and vocabulary were the main medium, through which one could access the magical divine and later link it with the present. Some particular traits and parameters defined the scope of Egyptian magic and some of them are:
e:
The first and the foremost magical spells was the power of utterances along with reinforcement, by a symbolic destruction of a wax or mud figurine in the form of an invisible enemy.
Such magical spells also included burning of a sheet of papyrus paper with the name and graphical image of the enemy drawn in detail over it.
In almost all processes of casting magical spells, the use of destruction of wax figurines and papyri drawings was the de facto rule for a majority of sacrificial actions performed during the ceremony.
The choice of wax as the most preferred spell casting materials had its own significance and importance. Most probably, the choice of wax is entirely due to its special physical properties that made them fit enough for any spell casting methods. Wax also has a religious and mythological connotations attached to it, because the wax material is said to be the creation of the sun god himself!
Another critical parameter associated with the wax is its perceived vulnerability to pressure and destruction; this is probably the reason, why wax was the most liked spell casting material. Wax could also burn without leaving any ashes, makes it a perfect symbol guaranteeing the elimination of the hostile and dangerous image that it represents.
Egyptians relied on and believed in the power of colors and numbers, while applying the principles of magic. In fact, the natural color of green had a profound influence on the entire Egyptian populace, as it represents and relates to the evergreen papyrus plant. Green means fertility, flourishing crops, a bountiful harvest, life, microcosm, abundance of riches and finally resurrection. Green color also relates to magical and spells making properties; amulets created of green papyrus columns drove away evil from the real world and thereafter from the world beyond the death. From the middle ages onwards until the end of Egypt-Roman confluence, lion-headed goddesses such as Bastet, Sekhmet and Menhet carried the green papyrus, as an eternal symbol of security and protection and in elimination of all types of harmful influences.
Spell Casting Procedures
Spitting upon, trampling and spearing
Before casting spells , the person who conducts the cast spelling procedure must ensure that he has all the tools, materials and implements ready for the processes; these serve as the medium or points of references from which a hostile influence needs expelling. Several native and indigenous techniques and methods ensured trouble-free spell casting.
A magical procedure contains many simple, yet bizarre procedures and methods like:
Spitting on the hostile, demonic, evil and undesirable images
Trampling or crush the image with the left foot
Spearing or piercing the image with a sharp spear
Knifing the image with a sharp edged knife
Binding the image with the papyrus sheet and later wrapping it tightly before placing it on the burning coal
All these procedures ensured that the evil influences cast away with a fair degree of certainty.
Fact: Early Egyptians also believed that the essential act of spitting is a symbolic gesture of being hostile or threatening towards the evil influences. Egyptians believed that spitting is similar to ejected venom from dangerous serpents, scorpions, insects and other similar creatures.
Spitting is also a prominent feature during the recitations of spells and execrations aimed at those wax figures that represented demons and their cohorts.
On the other hand, trampling upon or crushing on the wax figure or image is an established gesture and act of magical spell casting rites. Egyptian royalties and pharaohs always wore sandals with common imagery and pictures of their enemies and adversaries, so that they can keep on trampling on them throughout the day and night.
Egyptians applied similar analogous rites in their magical rituals as well! Briefly, the trampling or crushing procedure follows the spitting steps. All most all Ptolemaic temples show relevant and right imageries of this procedure. In fact, the king led by his chief priest appears before the principal deity in the temple to conduct these rituals. Though the burning of the wax figurine is not normal under normal Egyptian occult school of practices, it provides strong evidence Egyptians considered it as a tool to sacrifice the enemy. Many sheets of magic papyri mention the exact location where the figurine catches fire:
The burning place is either at the furnace of the coppersmiths or
Any place where there is a furnace.
The fire that is present in the furnace should be strong enough to consume the whole figurine within the shortest possible time. Egyptians also considered the flame emanating from the furnace as something that is divine and holy. Many funerary texts of Middle and New kingdom personified the burning process as the “mistress of fire”; this will burn and char all enemies of Osiris and other powerful gods and the place in the underworld will thus become safer for living in peace.
Images of furnaces on the tomb walls provide a great example of how Egyptians revered the spell casting process in their daily life. In fact, there are many examples of physical furnaces in the form of truncated cones excavated in the wide expanse of present day Egypt. However, there was a small problem while burning the wax figurine, that it will never leave any residue after burning. Thus, spell-casters collected the ashes of burnt papyrus in a pot of urine and burnt the same in a smoldering fire.
All about the Power of Encircling
Once a spell-caster finishes off the basic aspect of spell casting, by burning either figurine or papyrus sheets, he will conduct another simple ceremony called encircling. The basic aim of conducting this procedure is to control the malicious activities of evil forces or the shadow in the underworld. To conduct this important procedure, a suitable and auspicious day and hour for the intended act was essential. Most of these rituals relates directly to the sun god and his cohorts. These rituals always occur in the morning, when the sun is rising from the horizon.
Festivals and Rites
Illustrated examples show us that most of the spell casting and other similar rituals had a great bearing on the most common and popular festivals of the day. As an example, during the famed festival of Horus the Behdetite, at a place called Edfu, priests conducted rituals to execrate images of Apophis along with animals like hippopotami and crocodiles. These animals symbolized Seth and other enemies of Horus. The whole set of rituals will be over with the following procedures:
Striking of eyes of Apophis
Offering cake made out of hippopotamus
Crushing of fishes
Destruction of all enemies of the kingdom
The Importance of Symbolism
During funerary processes, and soon after mummification, priests used to place the mummy on a boat and transport it to the Lake of Kings in a religious procession, attended by the goddesses Isis and Nepthys, while the gods Wepwawet of Upper Egypt and the god Wepwawet of Lower Egypt, Horus and Thoth inspected the entire procedure. Once the coffin arrived at the Lake, the priests used to sail across, while reading the nine sacred books. Next, the mummy went through the Opening of Mouth ceremony and later enters the Embalming house for embalming.
Most of the magical rituals conducted in the early Egyptian kingdom were purely symbolic and ritualistic in nature; however, these signs of symbolism ensured that the desired results were at hand at the end of the ceremony.
These included:
Destruction of enemies and evil creatures and,
Protection and safety of the entire Egyptian populace.

Ancient Spells for Prosperity, Protection and Health
Egyptian magic is the most ancient way to heal one’s body and provide prosperity in life. Egyptian health and prosperity spells are the most ingenious ways, by which one could gain better health and prosperity. Egyptian magical spells and medicines go hand in had as both are complimentary to each other; a number of medicinal herbs and aromatic plants combine together with magical rituals to provide health and prosperity to the afflicted and disease ridden people.
In the ancient Egypt, mortality of small children and just born was a serious concern and people used magical spells to ward off invisible spirits and influences to ensure better survival. Benefits of Egyptian Witchcraft and Magic
Using Egyptian pharaonic magic provided a number of benefits and advantages to both the royalty as well as the ordinary people. Just like any other ancient civilizations, Egypt sternly believed in practicing magic and controlling all those invisible forces that surrounded them. In fact, ancient Egyptians were the complete masters in the art and they made it a point to use it in their daily life along with the usual religious and sacred procedures. Egyptian literature abounds with a number of texts and scriptures that provide graphical accounts of how the principles of magic will help society in general and people in particular.
Past and present records show that Egyptians spent a quite a lot of time to perfect the art of magic and sorcery. There are definite records that mention amulets as objects to fight diseases and pests. Egyptians also used several types of verses, prayers, hymns, utterances and names to bring good fortunes to people and the royalty. Scientifically designed calendars became the precious tools to find out good days and bad days to refer whenever an important function approached.
Resorting to Heavenly Magic
Everyone in ancient Egypt made it a point to resort to heavenly magic, from the great pharaohs guarding and protecting the country and people with a number of magical rituals and spells. There were instances when the expecting mothers used to wear different types of amulets to protect herself and her unborn child from evil spirits.
Egyptian old world magic also exerted a remarkable influence all over the world; over a period of more than 1500 years, several ancient civilizations like Greek, Roman, Indian and Mexico picked up the basic aspects of Egyptian witchcraft. Egyptian magic also had a close relation with the deceased souls of royalty, as Egyptians sternly believed in the resurrection of souls in another far-away life. Thus, the burial chambers of great kings, their treasures and other valuable treasures needed a foolproof security from marauders and thieves. In fact, the magic rituals conducted for dead pharaohs and royal harems were the most effective and dangerous in their nature. Several types of amulets put on the dead mummies, provided them the needed security and safety from invaders. Scarabs and protective rings found their way on the bodies of mummies to encircle the dead body with a ring of defense.
The Importance of Words and Utterances
Words and utterances have their special meanings in Egyptian witchcraft, as it was the de-facto standard for every temple priest to carry on with the legacy of magic. Ancient Egyptian magic also provided a number of benefits and advantages as people felt reassured and comfortable with the protection and security provided by seasoned and experienced priests and magicians. Magic also provided several necessitate life such as:
Help people and their families from evil spells unleashed by enemies of the family,
Help the royal court to stop or prevent destructive forces of nature like hurricane, storm, earthquake and floods,
To help people travel through remote and inhospitable desert and forest landscape, by driving away beasts, wild animals, ghosts, evil spirits, crocodiles and wild snakes.
To help protect the royal tombs and deceased kings from snakes, scorpions and other wild creatures, and powerful amulets and talisman lying by the side of deceased bodies created a protective ring around the tomb.

Amulets were the most favored protective tools used by almost everyone throughout the country; amulets came in several forms, materials and shapes and with a variety of special spells and hymns.
Consulting fortunetellers and magicians solved almost all critical problems, while an experienced fortuneteller commanded a considerable influence among the members of the royalty.
Fortunetellers also acted as special judicial officers to settle or arbitrate disputes and family feuds. In fact, people used to respect their rulings and judgments as binding and final.
Most of the lengthy amulets contained detailed inscriptions and mysterious text writings for assured protection from disasters and emergencies.
Legendary stories and anecdotes provide us invaluable clues on how temple priests cast their beneficial spells on the entire royal palace to provide foolproof protection from evil forces, criminals, invaders and marauders. The great pharaohs of ancient Egypt trusted their priests with their heart, and their care and hospitality for them extended beyond ordinary king-servant relationship.
According to a set of papyrus found in the archives, the Egyptians also practiced the interpretation and inference of dreams, by using the psyche of the dreamer and interpreting what he or she sees in his or her dreams.
Khufu and the Magicians is an ancient tale of Egyptian witchcraft and this wonderful and stunning account of Egyptian witchcraft provides us graphical details how and to what extent ancient Egyptians used magic. This tale appears in the Westcar Papyrus (Second Intermediate Period – around 1500 BC), preserved in the Berlin Museum. In one of the stories, there is a superb account of how the priest and magician, Djadjaemankh helps the great Pharaoh Sneferu, in recovering a piece of ornament from the river bed, by piling up half the water of the lake up on top of the other.
Ancient Egyptian Calendar

The star studded night in the Egyptian sky will not only impress millions of tourists and visitors, it will also provide a unique vista of how ancient Egyptians used their wonderful skills and knowledge of astronomy and astrology to precisely create a calendar that evolved as the first authentic calendar of the modern world.
Just consider those temple priests with their primitive tools and equipments, but still became so successful in identifying almost all the stars and constellations of the universe including the great star, Sirius or Sepdet (local name for Sirius).
The Rise and the Fall of the Great River Nile
To develop a precise and accurate calendar, one needs to use a definite set of data and information concerning the sky and land. Ancient Egyptian priests used a regular event that occurred with an astonishing regularity. This regular event was the rise and fall of the great river Nile that was so regular in its occurrence, which it never failed on its known history.
Here is the regular profile of the great River Nile:
Raising water levels around the end of the month of June
This period of flood (known as achet in Egyptian language) will last until the end of October
This time interval will herald the arrival of rich black mud that is so essential for sowing and growing of crops (also known as peret in Egyptian language)
The peak harvest period occurs during the month of February (also called schemu in local language)
This period ended with the next Nile flood
However, there was a hitch here! The accompanying floods arrived within the small range of around 80 days that too with highly varying intensities and amplitude. In fact, the timing was too skewed and inaccurate. In Egyptian mythology, people of Egypt perceived a definite connection between Sirius’ appearance in the sky and the onset of Nile floods. In Egyptian myth, people assumed that the tears of Isis caused great floods of Nile and this was due to Osiris’ murder by his brother Seth. In Egyptian mythology, the great star, Sirius was the manifestation of goddess Isis.
The Moon and the Floods
Here is the mechanism of how Egyptians invented their calendar:
The first sighting of new moon that followed the reappearance of Sirius (after its disappearance under the far way horizon) for seventy days was the first day of the New Year and of the initiation of flood period. This was the rule, even if there was no flood.
Now, the skilled priests observed that there four moon sequences within the period that was quite impossible! They also found that a lunar month has 29 ½ days, which ultimately resulted in either short or long years of 12 or 13 new moons!
Thus in the Old kingdom devised a calendar with 12 months of 30 days each. Each month had decades of 10 days.
However, this calendar was too short in order to coordinate with the regular agricultural and lunar calendar. Thus, the priests had to add five more extra days to the calendar called the heriu renpet. This addition was at the end of the year and coincided with local festivals.
However, the ancient Egyptians missed the exact duration of the solar year by almost ¼ day.
Nevertheless, these missing quarter days piled up and accumulated in the course of the time, over thousands of years resulting in one extra day for every four year.
The Sothis Period
Unfortunately, the whole calendar system faltered at the end of a cycle of 1460 years, and the resulting miscalculation was a loss of an entire year. This period is called the Sothis Period.
This little, but serious aberration remained, as it is until the advent of the Emperor Augustus’s period, when he introduced now famous “leap year”. This happened in the year of 30 BC
The Importance of Sirius
However, there is no solid evidence of when Egyptians devised their calendar. There are three recorded evidences of heliacal risings of the great star Sirius:
During the period of Thutmosis III
During the time of Amenophis I
During the era of Sesostris III
Fact: The great Roman historian provides us a valid conclusion that last helical rising occurred on Egyptian New Year during 139 CE.
Now, assuming that the heliacal rising of the star Sirius and the start of the year correspond with the time, when the calendar introduced, one could arrive at a hypothesis that provides three sets of separate years- 1322 BCE, 2782 BCE, or even 4242 BCE, which may form the beginning the onset of a scientifically designed calendar. However, it may be still difficult to assert that the Egyptian calendar’s birth during the fifth millennium BC from the available set of data!
Aberration in the early calculations
There was a definite aberration during the early Egyptian’s calculations; they might have simply failed to note the shift of the calendar though many seasons. Thus, there was a perceived aberration in the system of computing time in years, until the time of Canopus degree of the Great king, Ptolemy III (246 BCE-222 BCE). With this powerful royal decree, he ordered an addition of a day to the calendar, that too every fourth year (corrected, confirmed and corrected by Emperor Augustus). However, the perceived aberration still existed for a log time. By this surgical procedure, it was possible to make the Egyptian calendar as long as the Gregorian calendar.
Fact: It is common for an Egyptian year start on August 29, excepting in those years that precede a Julian leap year, during which the Egyptian year falls on August 30. The shift in the date occurs in a year commonly called the Alexandrinian calendar.
Even with their advanced astronomical skills and knowledge, Egyptians still lacked the system to keep an organized count of years. Egyptians had the habit of writing the number of counting of the livestock that took place every alternating year.
An example: “year of the first counting” or “year of the third time”
The Internal Structure
The internal structure of an Egyptian calendar is simple and straightforward! The entire year divides into three special seasons of four months each. Each moth contains 30 days each. Ancient Eg. Ancient Egyptians added an additional five days for each year, which makes 365 days in a year. Egyptians had the habit of explaining the events as a sequence of happening.
For example, “2nd day of the third month of the Crowning”
Ache (Inundation)
Months:
Thot
Phaophi
Athyr
Choiak
Prôje (Winter)
Months:
Tybi
Mechir
Phamenoth
Pharmuthi
Shômû (Summer)
Months:
Pachon
Payni
Epiphi
Mesori
The Thirteenth Month
There is a particular month called epagomenai that is actually the thirteenth month of the Egyptian Calendar. Ptolemy named the era as the Era of Nabonassar with epoch 26 February 746 C.E. However, there are several others eras that formed the basis of Egyptian calendar.

Introduction to Pharaonic Magic

Understanding Egyptian magic is very complex and tedious, as it is a product of thousands of years of intense research and practical details, perfected by men of religion and magic.
Egyptian magic is an amazing topic for study and research, when you look at the number of papyrus documents and texts written over a period of 4500 years, you will start grasping the amazing and mammoth proportions of the topic! People are still trying to comprehend the wonderful repository of Egyptian magic and occult procedures and processes.
On the other hand, researchers and seasoned magicians around the world are trying to extract those techniques and tricks that help them to enhance their repertoire as well as skills. Egyptian magic is also a timely fusion of things and principles that are both good and bad.
The Ancient Pharaonic Egyptian Religion
Ancient pharaonic Egyptian religion had a pronounced influence and impact on the magical rituals and ceremonies. Egyptian magic also relied on the basic aspect of honoring a number of gods and deities, which were the most important aspects of Egyptian people. It also had a solid and robust philosophy behind it. Virtually, every function or a ceremony had its own share of magic and occult just to protect people and the locality from those invisible evil forces and spells.
Though local priests and clerics commonly practiced Heka, other lesser-known magicians followed inferior methods of occult to get rid of evil forces. Egyptian magic also had a solid philosophy and set of rules attached to it; no one dared to deviate from these basic rules and primary codes, as demanded by the gods themselves. Here are some basic rules and ideas that created the Egyptian magic, which is still in vogue today and for the next few thousand years.
The Rituals and Spells in Pharaonic Magic
Egyptian magic has many basic principles supporting it such as:
The Spell or the spoken part of the magic: Generally, there was both a right and wrong way of doing it, though it may not work in the end.
These spells always obeyed and followed some basic principles, like, stressing on a particular word correctly and diligently. When you utter it correctly, it will come to be and turn into a reality, thus the spell was the most important factor of a magic ceremony.
The entire magic ritual involved a specific physical performance such as drawing a circle or creating a candle arrangement. There was also a distinctive practice of protecting the all too important pharaoh, which was usually by using a process called Cartouch! Some of these spells even wanted to get rid of poisonous creatures like insects, scorpions and fleas. In deed, scorpions were the most common poisonous animals found all around Egypt.
The Priests of Pharaonic Magic
To carry out important spells, priests always used magical wands made out of bone or ivory. Priests used these tools to make either a square or a circle before casting a spell. Such drawings always had the shape of a boomerang, contained magical carvings and unusual figurines so that the spells cast were very powerful and energetic.
Almost all court priest magicians were very powerful and well known, because they had the ultimate capacity to control evil and good forces of nature. By nature, these people were special, courageous, virile and heroic in applying the principles of heavenly magic without any fear or fright.
Most of the great pharaohs had their own temple priests who also acted as proficient magicians. These priests were the “scribes of the house of life” for their role and part in providing the best to the royal court.
Lay and sundry magicians stayed within the confines of big towns on the periphery and in small villages.
Most of these men of magic got their basic education in the school of magic, which lay close to the temples and palaces.
Though country magicians never schooled in a formal magic school, they could nevertheless, perform magical spells and procedures with considerable ease.
Ancient Egyptian men of magic, especially, the royal priests had a special duty of protecting the entire royal court, including the harem and royal children.
Royal priests treated magic as a tool to treat sick people, cure people of evil forces, protect royalty from the traitors and henchmen.
Using Pharaonic Magic for Reincarnation
Magic was a proficient tool for creating a safe passage for the deceased royalty, when it as used as a protective spell to safeguard the path to reincarnation.
Egyptian magic is a multifaceted art that varies considerably in its objectives based entirely on the desired goal.
By their nature, Egyptian people believed in resurrection and saw the next or the other world as similar as this one, that too only better. However, they also insisted that someone needed magical efforts to achieve the goal.
Egyptian Hypothetical Magic
Egyptian hypothetical magic brought life like images of the next world with their magical spells. One such scene was creating a series of servant statues called ushabtis (“a servant telling that I am answering you”) and such statues were created for resurrection in the next life to help the deceased souls. Egyptians also believed that there would be every mortal thing in the after-world like palaces, farmlands, laborers and farming animals. Egyptians also insisted that things would become only better in the other world.
There was an intense feeling that servant statues would stand with their arms crossed and magical spells inscribed on their entire body.
In fact, many Egyptians buried more than 365 statues (one for each day in the year) to perform the basic duties for them. Egyptian used to bury these statues deep inside the earth in the hope that they will serve them in the next world.
The Books, Oracles and Amulets of Pharaonic Egyptian Magic
The Book of the Dead was the most honored textbook that provided a number of magical spells for the priest magicians.
For a batch of 365 statues, there was an inspector or overseer, whose duty was to check on the activities of other statues. Well built, he made sure that all the statues worked diligently for hours and hours.
Egyptian magic also created statues called Oracles that had the capability of talking and deciding legal cases after listening to both parties.
However, Egyptian magic relied on wonderful tools called amulets, those small ornaments designed specially for personal protection. Egyptians created different types of amulets for different reasons and for the dead and living.
Some of the well-known amulets were The Eyes of Horus Amulet specially made for achieving good health. People wore this amulet around the neck and it represented falcons for its share of heavenly power. After each session of fighting with the evil forces, the damaged eyes of the Horus  regenerated magically. People from old Egypt used Horus for better health and prosperity.
However, the Scarab or the Beetle, was the most famous and common amulet. The Scarab provided people a sense of continued existence even after after-life. Egyptians also believed in its ability to help procreate without the participation of both sexes. The main characteristics of a scarab were its common usage, a pronounced beetle shape and its distinctive word called “pun”. Egypt of yesteryears gave too much importance to beetle insects and revered them with their heart.
However, rarest of all rare amulets was the ankh, the looped cross, which represented eternal life and a continuous journey. It is very difficult to find such a rare amulet and it was the official property of the royalty by the temple priests. Most of the Ankhs seen touching the pharaoh’s mouth, give them life and resurrection.
The dead souls and the deceased had their own special amulets called Djed Pillar amulet, the backbone of the god Osiris. The most pronounced aspect of this amulet is its little shape carved like a pillow; ancient Egyptians wore this amulet to get unlimited stability and health.

The History of Ancient Egyptian Magic
Ancient Egypt provides us a treasure trove of religious, social, engineering and health related literature unsurpassed anywhere in the world. The Grand Old Library of Alexandria was one big facility that was the largest source of literary information and scholarly works during the middle Egyptian era.
A detailed study of ancient Egyptian religious literature provides us tons and loads of useful information on the topic of witchcraft and divine powers. Magic, sorceries and spells also formed an inalienable part of ancient Egyptian society.
Firm belief in magical spells, recitations and various other occult procedures made people to produce supernatural results and heavenly effects.
The Belief in the Power of Magic
An average Egyptian always believed in the power of magic to solve many of the most common problems relating to health, love, marriage, children, ghosts and evil spirits. The mysterious way and intensive care with which experts performed innumerable magic and occult ceremonies were amazing! As early as in the first phase of great Egyptian kingdoms, the art of practicing magic and spells was common among the royalty and ordinary citizens. There was a general belief that the earth has a very close relation with the ugly underworld, the sky and air with a countless numbers of visible and invisible beings, all of them either friendly and hospitable or enemy and inhospitable, depending on the conditions that were again favorable or unfavorable to men.
In the ancient Egypt, witchcraft was completely scientific and orderly. Though, it was heavily sprinkled with religious flavor, its practice was very precise, systematic, artistic and highly organized. Ancient mythologies religious texts, magic manual and occult sheets provided us an invaluable clue on the importance of occult science as a day-to-day activity. Egyptian witchcraft and occult practices also depend on various other subjects like alchemy, astrology, astronomy, herbal medicines and animal concoctions. The person who was a consistent practitioner was an expert, and he or she could proudly announce that there was the cream of the society.
The Fear of Magic and Protection
Old world magic in Egypt did enforce a sort of profound fear among the ordinary people, who made it a point to purchase amulets, herbs, magic potions and other similar things from magicians and sorcerers; most of these things were purely for protecting the life, home, farm and other personal goods from those invincible ghosts and spirits. Magical procedures and practices insisted on “speaking right”, meaning that one needed to repeat the magic formula and utterances in the right manner and the same way, even to the tenor of the voice!
The Book of the Dead
The much celebrated Book of the Dead states that the main gates to distant, other world will never open to you, until you know your secret name or when you utter it an incorrect manner.
Egyptians were the first people to maintain and chronicle a number of superb books containing innumerable formulae, incantations, recitations, verses, poems, spells, charms and magical utterances for daily use and for special purposes. People found them very useful in the daily lives. One such tool was amulets that were very important for a number of purposes; amulets worn by the living people gave protection from ghosts and spirits, while when put on the dead souls, they saved them from bad influences. Amulets are those intuitive pieces of instruments made by using any materials and some of them carved with magical formulae. Amulets also came in a number of shapes and sizes like scarab and heart. Amulets also came in different forms just to protect differentdifferent parts of the body.
Egyptian history is also a big book of magic and occult, as it the science of magic appears in details even during the era of Great Moses and his brother Aaron. Exodus provides a graphical detail of the intense duel between these two brothers; just remember the famous incident of stick turning into a snake. Moses’ influence also included such things as pest infestation, plagues, and darkness during the day and torrential rains in the entire Egyptian territories. Incidentally, the appearance of plague through out the country is a manifestation of God’s fury and punishment.
King Solomon was a magician indeed, as mentioned in the book, The Wisdom of Solomon. This book provides details on how God gave him special powers including the capability to perform magic and occult. King Solomon had a great power to control even the most powerful demons. King Solomon is also a known expert in exorcising ghosts from human bodies.
Solving Problems with Egyptian Magic
Egyptian witchcraft and pharoanic magic had a profound influence on ordinary people, as they relied on such powers to provide them solutions to even the most difficult problems. Egyptian witchcraft also relied on a set of rigid and sound principles that controlled both mortal and immortal world. In essence, Egyptian witchcraft mainly aimed at creating:
Transfer of power heavenly, supernatural and surreal being to mortal men
Thus, the principles of Egyptian Pharaonic witchcraft enabled humans to get superhuman and supernatural strength and capacity, to become a mighty, powerful, original possessor of the supernatural powers.
The main goal of Egyptian witchcraft was to empower men with means and methods of making or compelling both demonic and friendly powers to do or perform what they wanted or wished, whether such forces wanted it or not!
Religion in Early Egypt
Religion in Early Egypt had a profound and deep influence on the pharoanic magic practices and in fact, both existed side by side in a peaceful coexistence for many thousands of years. In reality, the magical powers exclusively belonged to men of religion and the one who was skilled in the art, science of magic was invincible, and his or her capacity was almost boundless and eternal. The domain of Egyptian witchcraft and occult was divine and surreal; a person who was an expert in the field was an immortal both by the deeds and by life.
Men of magic in Ancient Egypt used to utter or recite some important words in a systematic manner and deep intonation to heal sick people, by curing the incurable diseases, spell off the ghost residing in the body and restore the dead soul back into the physical body. They could even converse with the dead souls to provide them power to get rid of their guilt and sins to become saner bodies!
An ancient Egyptian magician or a sorcerer was proficient in many things like:
Enabling mortal humans to assume various others forms and their souls into weird animals and creatures
Converting non living things and images to become living and making them act as per magician’s wishes
To make powers of natures like wind, the rain, storms, hurricanes, rivers, sea, volcanoes, dangerous diseases and ultimate death, to work on behalf of a magician, and to make them wreak havoc and cause considerable trouble to all enemies
Uttering the most powerful word of the day “thoth”, to which everyone gave respect including godly things
To invoke most powerful gods to help them achieve things those are beyond normal people’s comprehension.
Ancient Egyptian religion was a wonderful mix of amazing gods, holy rituals and a fair amount of pure magic! It was surprising to see that Egyptians never differentiated between religion and magic! It id true as that well-known Egyptian writer, Clement, proudly said, “Egypt was the mother of magicians”! Ancient Egyptians also believed that the extreme power that lay behind magic and occult was heka. Old Egyptians also believed in one God who as eternal and omnipresent was unfathomable to human beings.
Neter was the name given to the unknown divine power and Neter means “god”, “divine”, “supreme”, “great”,  “strength” and “renewal”
All old-world Egyptian magicians worked and performed magical rituals by identifying themselves with a particular deity or lesser god. In other words, a magician assumed the god form by attaching himself or herself with the god.Magic used quite a bit of things from the religion like utterances, holy chants and prayers. The polytheism of Egyptian religion meant that Neter himself manifested in those local and lesser deities.
Fact: The great Goddess Isis was solely responsible for the creative force of Neter, while the God Thoth was Neter’s intellectual repository and the God Horus was Neter’s strength!
Did you know? That another name for magician was a theurgist or “god-worker?”
Old World Egyptian Magic
Academicians from all over the world have proposed a theory that the ancient Egyptian magic is the precursor to almost all western magic and occult practices. Old Egyptian funerary books provide us a clue as to how a particular deity or god represented the dead souls! The power of magical words and utterances is a predominant feature of ancient Egyptian magical and occult practices. There was a firm belief that human beings could become deities or servants of gods; just have a look at those amazing texts, as Pyramid Texts or The Book of Dead, and you will understand how Egyptians perfected the art of magic and occult. Deities were seen as possessing heku, or magic, which is the cosmic power existing in the universe. Ancient Egyptian also believed that magic is the essential part of daily life and various religious practices that also relied on the aspects of divinity.
One of the amazing texts available in the world is the Coffin Text written exclusively for the dead to retain the magic that is already in the body and to gather more lately in the deceased stage.
Fact: Egyptians believed that a person had the ability to sit with the deity, when he or she possessed the memory to recite the names of all the gods and objects. In almost all cases, deceased soul was closely associated with the god Osiris. Ancient Egyptians also used a tool called historaloe to transit usefully to the afterlife, as did Osiris.   The healing rites for the dead also relied on establishing a contact with the deity so that the after life journey was made successful by the men of magic.
The Most Important Magical Texts of the Pharoanic Era
In Egyptian religious studies, the art of language and naming was also an important ritual and it carried tremendous power in ancient Egyptian philosophy. The goddess Isis was so successful in curing Ra’s snakebite with her magical powers. In the year 2700 BC, one of the oldest known texts described the god Ptah  creating the mind and the word by using the power of magic. The god Thoth provided words of magic in the ancient Egyptian magic, Egyptians call their native language as those words spoken by gods, and the available hieroglyphic records mention this as the writing of the sacred words.
Three most important religious and magic texts of ancient Egypt are:
The Pyramid Texts
The Coffin Texts
The Book of the Dead
All the above texts originate in the Egyptian pharoanic era of 3000BC to 2000BC. Words and names were the de facto standards for any magical ritual, while amazing lines of Hieroglyphs exerted a special effect along with magical powers. No wonder most of the funeral texts found written

Words and names were the de facto standards for any magical ritual, while amazing lines of Hieroglyphs exerted a special effect along with magical powers. No wonder most of the funeral texts found written in hieroglyphs.
The Later Years
During the succeeding years of 2700BC and 1500BC, the Egyptians used heka, the magic to provide many benefits and advantages to the world. Many symbolic actions of heka exerted harmonious and useful effects. The most common practitioners of magic were the local priests, whom with their secret knowledge and skills, could yield considerable influence over the residents. They could also use ancient texts and treatise of magic preserved in local temples and libraries. Legends say that these men of knowledge could even inanimate objects to life and turn over the waters from a lake!
Royal lector priests also had a special role to play to protect pharaohs from evil influences and they even initiated procedures to help the deceased pharaohs to rebirth and reincarnation. By the end of first millennium BC, local priests gave away their sacred duties to professional magicians, also called hekau. However, the temple priests exerted tremendous capacity to heal dangerous disease like plague that was set on the earth by the god of plague, Sekhmet.
Egyptian history also gave shelter to low-level charmers and magicians called scorpion charmers, who used magic to get rid of poisonous reptiles like snakes, scorpions, lizards and insects. Surprisingly, even nurses and midwives also proved useful with their considerable magic skills in getting rid of many maternity related problems. Another class of practitioners of magic was ‘protection-makers’, who provided an efficient tool called Amulet; these people could be either male or female. Curiously, none of the magical techniques was rejected, either by the royal court or by priests.
Fact: The ancient Egyptians had plenty of both religion and surreal magic in their life; most of the Egyptians had two names against them, one for the public, while the other secret and known only by the mother. If you knew someone’s private name, you could easily perform magic against him or her.
Destructive Magic in Historic Ancient Times
Even though, magic was a daily routine for the purpose of healing and protecting people, many Egyptians also made it a point to use destructive magic technique to control and maim state enemies. When a destructive magic session was required to bring spell of bad tidings to the enemies of the state, their name was inscribed in clay pots, tablets figurines, toys and metal icons and later burned or broken or even buries in a remote cemetery.
In the major temples across the land, there were regular curse ceremonies to curse enemies of deities by burning or maiming their images. Above all the fiercest gods of the cosmos joined to fight and destroy bad and demonic influences. During this period, those people, who hated or despised the pharaohs, were also cursed and ostracized to provide protection to the royal court. Legend says that a divine magic protected King Ramses III, by royal priests by making a series of potions, spells, verses, recitations and wax figurines and later cursing them with magical procedures.
Other popular objects used for magical spells were hair, nail clips, foot dust and body fluids. These items were the sole medium by which a bad magician or a sorcerer could use spells and to help people. In fact, using a magical procedure by using the above-mentioned materials was mandatory, otherwise a spell would not work.

What is White Magic?
White magic can broadly be defined as any kind of magic that is not used malevolently and white magic spells have no malevolent connotations behind them as they are used to either benefit the caster or benefit another person of the caster’s choosing. White magic that is turned into black magic is usually defined as gray magic.
Usually, white magic is the most often used form of magic and it does not receive the level of bad reputation that is attributed to black magic due to the latter’s connotations of evil and intrinsic link to villainous and often violent characters in films.
Most magical practitioners focus mainly on white magic as there is very little chance of inadvertently causing harm to someone due to the innocuous nature of the spells. These kind of white magic spells often relate to calling on the power of the Elements to help them in their spell casting as the Elements are strong and there energy gives a huge amount of weight to a spell.
Some examples of white magic spells and practises are. As well as these kinds of spell, there are also white magic love spells.
Mudra
This is a practice based around hand gestures and signals. It is derived from Hinduism and Buddhism and is a ritual gesture that calls on magic energy based on gestures and signals. It isn’t always associated with magic, but calling to deities, especially those representing of Elements can be immensely magically powerful.
Protection
This kind of white magic spell is used due to a human’s natural desire to protect themselves and their loved ones. Due to how it is inherent within human beings, it is usually considered to be white magic. However, there is a flip side in that protection spells can be used to bind others. In this case, it would be considered gray magic.
Weather Magic
This is a very popular type of magic (the idea of a rain dance being one example of it) that is practiced even by many who do not follow religions that believe in magic. It involves manipulating weather conditions in order to suit your own ends, such as trying to encourage sunshine on a day that you are going outside.
Healing/Exorcism
Healing is often considered a miracle and is believed to have been performed by deities of various religions. As it involves transferring health and positive energies to another person, it is considered white magic. As exorcism involves banishing negative energies, it too is considered white magic.
Alchemy
Potion making can be a part of healing and is also mostly good. However, it can be used for malevolent purposes and so intent is important in classifying alchemy.
Blessings
This is an important magical art as it involves passing positive energies into a person or object. This positivity causes it to be classified as white magic.
White love spells are the most widely used kind of love spell and they often consist of persuasion of the mind or perhaps a change in perception in order to persuade someone to notice the spell caster in a romantic light. The slight interference with free will that can occur is what makes it possible to turn white magic love spells into gray magic.
To conclude, white magic is a much nicer and more beneficial branch of magic than the more malevolent possibilities inherent within black magic and thus most practitioners of magic would recommend that you operate over on the side of white magic as opposed to the darker and more evil side of black magic.

What is Black Magic?
Those two words alone would cause many people to either giggle or shudder, depending on how far their belief in the occult stretches. Black magic is a term that almost everyone is familiar with and, whatever their view is and whether they believe in it or not, everyone knows at least a little bit about it.
However, not many people are aware that this kind of magic doesn’t necessarily have to propagate pain and suffering (you can even have black magic love spells, as will be explained later), although these are applications of dark magic.
In fact, it can be used to assist you as opposed to directly attacking others, but this does often come via more malevolent methods with black magic than with white magic.
Often, those who disagree with black magic will complain of the negative effects it causes. However, practitioners of the dark arts know that it can be perfectly fine when used sparingly and with the right intent behind it. As with any type of magic, it relies almost entirely on the intent of the spell caster as opposed to the actual content of the spell.
There is a law amongst the magickal community which suggests that any bad spells you cast will eventually come back at you threefold. This is why it is frowned upon to practise evil magic as the consequences for yourself are usually even worse than the effects on the person that you are casting the spell on.
Some major examples of black magic spells include:
Curses and Hexes
These are broadly any kind of spell directed towards someone else, usually for malevolent purposes. They can range from something as rudimentary as wishing something bad on someone all the way up to a complex and intricate ritual.
Necromancy
This is properly defined as any kind of magic that relates to death, but it is mostly applied to the act of raising people from the dead.
Immortali Rituals
These are spells that attempt to extend the life of the practitioner. They are usually evil spells, particularly if the practitioner is kept alive by draining life force from another person.
True Name Spells
The concept of true name black magic spells comes from the belief that knowing a person’s “true name” as opposed to simply the name they were given at birth gives the practitioner full control over that person, either for evil reasons or more honourable purposes, such as freeing someone from a difficult mental state.
As we briefly touched upon earlier, another purpose of this magickal branch is black magic love spells which are used to bring great happiness to the client, but potentially at the expense of another. An example of a black magic love spell is that of selfishly breaking a couple up, possibly so that another person can make an advance on one of the people or forcing a member of the opposite sex to like them via magic.
To conclude, black magic can be useful, although it is very important that anyone looking to try it is aware of all of the risks that are potentially involved and also that you ensure the spell is actually what you want and that the source where you found it is reputable and isn’t likely to be messing you around. Other than that, all we can say is be careful and be sure that this is what you really want.
Black magic and black magic spells must only be used with the right intent and should never be used to harm another human being or animal. This website does not endorse the use of its spells to cause harm.

Why Biological Materials and Talismans are essential in real magic spells
A combination of Body, Mind, and Spirit is the only way a spell can actually come to fruition. You must be invested in your spell. This is the main reason why you are asked to send me your biological samples, such as hairs, nail clippings, tears, and so on.
In the magical realm your biological samples are considered to be the only direct link to you, and to the people you love, hence they are essential and mandatory. Without these samples no spell will ever work.
Biological materials in spells help to make your intentions all the stronger. When your body is a part of the ritual, you aren’t just an outsider to the process – you’re invested in the spell: body, mind, and spirit. This also explains my high success rate because I follow the true ancient practices and do not take any short-cuts that compromise the outcome of your spell. Keep in mind that spells that do not include your biological materials have a very slim chance of ever working for you.
Now with that said, there is another essential part of the spell casting process. This is called the talisman, this is an object which will be fully charged with all the energies from your spell. Basically once the spell is cast, all the energies of the spell are transferred to the talisman until it is completely and fully charged. Once charged the talisman is shipped to you via Fed-Ex.
This is where all the magic happens, once you touch the talisman, you will automatically activate all it’s forces and energies, this is when the circle of magic is complete and your spell is in full motion.
Basically without biological samples and a charged talisman, you have nothing, and you will get nothing. These are simple facts in the magical world. Pictures are not enough, don’t let any one tell you otherwise.

Spell Casters – Working with Authentic Practitioners
Sadly, it would seem that one would need to rely upon magical forces and supreme ioeings in order to find authentic spell casting services and the reason for this is due to the fact that the limited number of practitioners who provide authentic magic are significantly outnumbered by the number of tricksters and con artists.
This does not mean to say that authentic witches do not exist, but what it DOES mean is that if you are eager to rely upon real practitioners then you will need to perform some due diligence before you hand over your money to the practitioner in question.
As a general rule of thumb, spell casters who provide genuine magic will be fully transparent, honest and forthcoming about what they do, how they do it, along with the fees that they charge. Providers of spell casting services will also be willing to provide a comprehensive and easy to understand breakdown of what they will be doing for you and what you are actually paying for.
A true spell caster will never try and pressure you into doing something you do not want to do, nor will they ever try and twist your arm to use them and only them. Indeed, rest assured, if any practitioner who alleges that they provide authentic spell casting services then proceeds to threaten you with dire consequences should you not hire them, then laugh it off and find someone else.
Honest spell casters will be fully open about whether or not they can actually help you. Too many practitioners promise the world to their clients, are ultimately unable to deliver, and then rather than trying to explain why things did not work out the way they could have or indeed should have, they then blame the customer or try and fleece them for even more cash.
You must understand that there are no guarantees in spell casting. Please get this idea off your head and in my opinion you should stay away from anyone that claims that they can guarantee their work.
A practitioner who provides genuine spells will first listen to your query, identify what it is you are actually wanting to achieve, and then determine whether it is realistic and achievable. If it is not, and if there is a potential alternative solution to your problem, then the spell caster will also be willing to advise you about them as well.
One of the surest ways to determine whether a practitioner offers authentic services is to deliberately ask them a question that you know that they cannot possibly achieve (such as breast enlargement spell, or a turning you into a vampire spell). Should the practitioner who claims that they provide real magic then claim that actually yes, they are able to do such spells, then walk away.
Some clients are not comfortable about asking questions of practitioners who claim that they provide true magic as they are worried that they will offend the practitioner. In reality, people who practice witchcraft are well aware that people may have problems or issues with what they are doing and so will go out of their way to put the doubtful customer at ease.
What you should expect from a Spell Caster and What Not
If you are not proficient in spell casting or don’t want to take the chance on doing a spell yourself, you may wish to hire a professional practitioner who does spells for you on your behalf. The fact of the matter is that there are good spell casters who will work hard for you and providers that are only after your money. Witches who work on the internet are more or less organized to help you get a spell cast.
If you are looking for an honest practitioner, you need to find one that has a very professional website that details the types of spells you might be looking for. Some free spells might also be offered to you for you to try yourself. You should be able to find a biography or introduction of the spell caster so you know who you are dealing with. There should be a physical address available. You should be able to read terms of service and a privacy policy. The provider should have a merchant account.
with which you will pay your bill. It’s all very professional and above board, similar to other professionals you hire through the internet. Stay away from Western Union.
Please take the time to actually read websites.
Lately I am receiving a lot of comments in my blog from people claiming to have had outstanding results from spells cast from practitioners that only have an email address and no website. Be VERY, very careful. These comments are submitted by spam robots that post these entries automatically in thousands of blogs at a time. These are not legitimate providers and only try to hunt down desperate people.
It should be free to consult with the practitioner and get an analysis of your issues from them. There should be proper information that details the prices for all rituals and spells they can do for you. If there aren’t any prices listed, this can be a bad sign and may mean the provider intends to overcharge you or take advantage of you.
Doing a spell with a professional caster can be complicated. He or she may want information from you, such as your date of birth and may need pictures of you or of loved ones. Pictures of potential love matches may need to be sent to the practitioner. Trust the professional to know what to do and how to get it.
You have to keep in mind that you are not actually casting the spell yourself but your hire an outsider that will have to connect you to the universe and to your wish. The circle of energies can not flow without you being invested with mind and spirit.
When it is time and all materials are gathered, the spellcaster will perform the spell and will tell you how the spell casting is going and when it will be completed. In all cases, you need to give the spell some time to work. It may take several hours or days for the witch to perform your spell and this may add to the cost. When it is done, talk to the witch about how long you should expect to have to wait. It can be in as little as a few hours or as long as a few months, depending on the spell and the will of the Universe.
It is a nice thing to let your spell caster know when the spell has come to fruition. When you receive the money you had wanted or get the love of your life from a love spell, it’s a good thing to let them know that you’ve been successful.
The spell caster’s job is to get the spell done and shouldn’t be to advise you on every step of the way after that. Spell casters have many spells to do and don’t have the time or inclination to take care of you in that way. Use them for the spell and expect success after that. However, they should be there for you if you have questions or concerns in regards to your case and especially when your spell is not working the way you wished for.
I hope this information sheet is helpful to you when dealing with witchcraft and magic services.
In conclusion:
Take the time to read practitioners websites.
Trust your inner voice.
If it doesn’t feel right, don’t do it.

When a Spell Caster’s Spell  does not deliver results
Since talking about authentic spell casters I would also like to add that there are sometimes clients that refuse to read websites, refuse to listen to the practitioner and refuse to accept anything the spiritual realm has to offer. Even tough they engage in spells they have no belief in them.
It is a safe assertion to make that the idea of love spells and witchcraft are not concepts that are comfortably tolerated by many people even in this supposedly tolerant, democratic and open society that we live in and many people are attracted to spell casting for all the wrong reasons and other, repulsed by it by the same.
It would seem that critics of spell casting and practitioners who engage in the magic arts are ever vigilant for any sort of news of failure on the part of spell casters, the better for them to then stand on their soapbox and then condemn the magical arts and it’s practitioners as nothing more than cheap parlour tricks and trickery. These are the clients that order spells, do not follow instructions, do not communicate with the practitioner and then stand on their soapbox in blogs and forums, to let the world know what happened to them. From the very beginning they are not working WITH the practitioner, they are working against them, so it seems.
A common source of their ammunition is the issue of why love spells can fail.
Why some Love Spells Fail
Love spells are very popular aside from spells used to gain prosperity, wealth and relief from debt. Everyone wants love in its purest, most romantic form. When doing a love spell, you can have someone specific you are looking for or you can be looking for that elusive soulmate. The problem is that some love spells can fail and you are left wondering “why did it fail” and what to do about the problem.
If truth be known, love spells in general work very well. The success or failure of a spell, however, depends on a number of things. Magic is not a hundred percent effective and you need to look through the possible reasons why some rituals fail.
It is very important to understand that just because a spell didn’t produce the outcome you were wishing for, it is not automatically an indication that you were dealing with a fake spell caster.

First of all, you need to follow the spell caster’s instructions exactly and make sure you fully understand how the provider works. Some spells, especially when performed by young and inexperienced practitioners, can be very finicky in the way they operate so that the slightest variation on the spell can cause it not to happen very well. You must work carefully in partnership with your spell caster so that both you and the practitioner do what is necessary to make the spell happen.
You cannot have unrealistic expectations if you want a love spell to succeed. This means that you can’t expect to have your ex-lover knocking on your door tomorrow showering you with deep love and affection. Magic and witchcraft is a process, not a push-button kind of thing. Even though some clients receive very fast results, for the majority of clients results happen gradually.
The more your lover is already attracted to you, the faster they can produce results. The more negative feelings they feel for you, the longer they take.
There are no guarantees in magic. The will of the Universe has a lot to do with this and sometimes the Universe has completely different ideas about what you need, regardless of what you want. It’s not easy to accept but may be the case when some spells fail.
Imagine the person you are truly in love with is actually a very evil person and would be capable of harming you severely. The positive energies of the universe would never allow such a union because it already knows that you will suffer a great deal from it.
Don’t take any shortcuts with your spells. Do not rush the spell caster. If the spell takes several more days to complete, have faith in the process. Focus on your goal. Think positive. Allow the love spell to work for you. Your mindset should be directed at love and it can be directed on one person or on a type of person you are interested in.
Remember the “faith” part of magic. You need to really believe in the spell and in the practitioner’s ability to make the spell work. You have a degree of personal power that can push the spell into completion. Use it! By thinking positive.
The failure of your own trust in yourself, your results and the love spell is why some spells fail.

Aura Cleansing Spell
What is an Aura?
The aura is an invisible energy field that surrounds each of us. It is important to keep it clean in order to prevent the effects of negative energies. An Aura Cleansing is a spiritual form of cleansing that will repair and restore a damaged or clouded Aura.
We are all born with a clean and immaculate Aura. Throughout life it can get dirty. The aura is a sum of all the energies that impacted us throughout life and influence our perception as well as our luck and mind-set. It can also get damaged through negative thinking, negative feelings, unhealthy foods that you feed your body but also through the negative thoughts, feelings and energies of other people that surround you. All these factors influence your energy field.
An Aura Cleansing can therefore lead to a happier and more positive life. Especially in conjunction with spell work it is highly beneficial.
The Benefits of an Aura Cleansing
Even though the energetic fields around the human body are not visible to everyone, modern scientists are discovering electromagnetic magnetic fields from the heart and brain that can be picked up with various instruments.  Throughout time, intuitive people have been able to read layers of color, or an aura that extends approximately two feet from the body.  Since many illnesses show up in the aura before manifesting anywhere else, cleansing the aura can provide a number of benefits.
You aura is something which follows you wherever you go.  This energetic field is all around your body, interacting with the world, with the auras of others, and reacting to your inner landscape.  When you don’t take the time to cleanse your aura, negative energy can often build up, causing more problems than you may think.
Negative Energy Can Lead to Illness
Your aura is like a balloon.  When the balloon is filled up to a certain level, it has a certain shape that is pleasing to others.  But the more air you put into a balloon, the larger it gets and the more distended it gets.  And if you fill up a balloon too much, then you will begin to stretch it to its limit, eventually popping the balloon apart.  If your aura begins to have too much negative energy in it, that energy will need to go somewhere and often it will go to your body where it can cause illness and disease.  But if you’d cleansed your aura, that energy could have been released without harming your body at all.
A Dirty Aura Puts Others Off
What you may not realize is that while people may not be able to see your dirty aura, they can feel it.  That negative energy might be upsetting your chances at love or at getting that new job. By taking the time to regularly cleanse your aura, you will be able to change the way you ‘feel’ to others, which will boost your luck and your success in love and in the rest of your life.
With a clean aura, you can begin to interact in the world with a more positive energy.  Cleaning your aura only takes a short while, but the effects last a long time.

Introduction to Santeria
Before you learn about santeria spells you may want to know a few things about the belief and its practices. Santeria is a combination of religious beliefs similar to the traditional African religion of Voodoo. Santeria has its origins in Cuba and Brazil and widely practiced in both countries. The religion combines worship of catholic saints with the traditional Yoruba faith. Yoruba is a community from West Africa, based in southwest Nigeria who worship Orishas, who are spiritual beings that are manifestations of the main god, Olofi.
Santeria is a powerful form of white magic that helped African slaves through difficult times. The faith also has a strong Caribbean influence. Santeria spells are believed to produce results more quickly and are cast for love, protection, wealth, and career prospects. One of the most powerful tools in Santeria is the drums. Santeria spells have been traditionally passed down for centuries with every ritual being unique. The power of these spells works on different levels and can dominate a person’s thoughts and actions in the right direction. So whether it is love, money, or protection, you can fulfill your dreams with a Santeria spell. Most importantly, it is safe magic that won’t harm you or your loved ones and never bring any negative or bad energies to anyone involved.
The Benefits of Santeria Spells
Santeria is strongly influenced and associated with the spirits of Nature that can be invoked during a spell.  While the spells are powerful, you can embark on a spiritual journey and a unique experience of santerian beliefs without harming anyone around you. Santeria love spells have the power to bring back your lover and is among the most cast spells. It is important to consult a spell caster that has strong knowledge of Santeria and can invoke the right spirits for the purpose of your spell. A spell could work within a couple of days to 4 months, depending on the type of spell. If you are curious about how long a Santeria spell can last, it all depends on your desires, and what you really want. Santeria spells require the intervention of the Orishas which helps to create a clear path for your spell. At the next level the spell begins to work on whom the spell is cast, manifesting in his or her mind the desires of the spell caster. So if your lover has gone astray a Santeria spell is powerful enough to bring him or her back and ensure a long lasting and faithful relationship.
Spells cannot be taken lightly. You can cast them only if you are sure about your goals and objectives. If there is something that you sincerely need back in your life and haven’t tasted success through other sources, spells are just what you need. Use them to restore happiness, harmony, love, peace, and success in your life. There is no doubt that you will be amazed at the power of my spells and the breakthrough you can get in your personal life.
The History of Santeria Love Magic
Santeria is one of the many religious traditions of the world which has love magic amongst its practices.  Santeria is a religion with a slightly complex history.  It is a rather new religion, having been founded just 500 years ago, in 1515.  It comes from West Africa, from the Yoruba tribe.  That isn’t where it stayed.  Santeria relocated together with its people.  This occurred because much of the Yoruba tribe was attacked and enslaved by others and forced to move.  First they moved to Nigeria, where there are still some relatives in the South of that country.  That’s not where the story ends.  There were further attacks from other groups of people and that caused the Yoruba to again suffer defeat and capture and forced relocation.  This time they were enslaved and shipped all the way to the Caribbean islands.  There, they were officially converted to Catholicism.  Unofficially, they did not all convert.  There were many who also learned to blend the two streams of religious influence together.  The result was an altered form of Santeria.  Some of the practices were kept as a closely guarded secret whilst others were not.
They have a number of spells and a complete belief system.  There are special people who provide services to the community such as casting spells to ward off illness, to cure sicknesses, to help in matters of the heart and more.  These people can cast love spells.
Santeria love spells may involve a lot of domination.  This can be good or bad, depending upon the circumstances and those involved.  These spells are not necessarily recommended for someone to do on their own.  Santeria is very unlike Wicca in that, in Santeria it is normal to go to the village spell caster.  The culture is similar with Voodoo, but most Wiccans live in a culture where the dominant culture does not support the practice of magic and the use of alternative healers and spell casters is still more of an ‘underground movement’ than standard practice.
People are advised to work with the culture and religion with which they are the most familiar or drawn to.  If the tradition would suggest that the individual make and use their own love spell then he or she should do this.  If the tradition would advise going to an experienced professional of the spell casting type, then that is probably what should be done.  If you do not know someone who does that type of Santeria spell, it might not be the way to go.  Consider the alternatives and seek to use only a spell caster who has a good reputation amongst people who you trust or who you have an extremely good feeling about.  There is one caveat here: vampires are very charismatic.  In other words – there are cases where you could get a great feeling about someone even though in reality you should not trust that person.  Normally, your intuitions will be correct, so there’s no need to ‘paranoid’.

Introduction to Obeah Magic
Many of the spiritual practices in the world have borrowed from other practices.
In fact, this has happened so often it has become difficult to tell where one spiritual practice begins and another ends.
Obeah is one of these mixed spiritual practices which seem similar to so many other groups – i.e. Voodoo and Santeria, which all have their roots in Ancient Egypt.
With its native culture roots and its dedication to the interconnectedness of the world and its energies, you can see why Obeah would be so widely used in spells and in other magical workings.
Back to the Beginning
The tradition of Obeah began many thousands of years ago in Africa and the West Indies.  Coming from Central America and Africa, this practice is one of the folk people.  In those times, the people of the land understood how nature affected all they did, and began to create deities which were found in the world around them.  By being respectful of these deities and energies, the people were able to bring into their lives the things they wanted, while also being able to push away the unwanted energies and people.  From that natural practice developed Obeah with its less structured practice.  Many modern people in the world are working in the Obeah tradition to begin to change their lives and the outcome of their lives.  The practice also includes healing rituals and talismans.  In doing so, the person who is ill can bring more luck to themselves in order to fight the diseases or to release the negative energy which is keeping them from being healthy in their lives.
Charms and Tokens
One of the most common Obeah practices is the use of charms and tokens.  By finding a physical item and putting one’s energy into this item, the magical working can be strengthened and focusing.  A person might blow on the charm their own energy to help infuse the spell with their will and power.  Or the item might be used to represent someone or something in one’s life.  The charms can also be used with healing energy in order to help someone who is ill, with the person keeping this charm at their side until they are well.  By taking these items and using them in rituals, a person can direct their intentions to this item, helping to change the energy or to intensify the energy, depending on the working.  Working with items as opposed to real people is no less important, however, and like Voodoo dolls, the charms and tokens need to be treated with the utmost care and respect.
Bringing You Luck
In the Obeah practice, people are concerned with the idea of luck, both having more luck and bringing luck back into one’s life.  By increasing one’s luck, the people do not have to rely on the deities to help them with their concerns.  They will simply either be able to attract what they want to themselves – or not.  This practice does put a lot of responsibility on the person doing the spell, but this works well to help the person realize when they are doing something they shouldn’t.  By realizing that a spell isn’t working, the Obeah practitioner can look at themselves and decide whether they have other things they need to change in their attitude or in their life.
With Obeah, one can perform a number of different magical workings, including love spells.  This practice reminds you to come back to the source of all life and of all energy – the Earth.  By using this practice to begin to see that you are in control of your life, you can begin to follow the Obeah ways to take charge again.

The Magical Properties of Candles

Light candles to enhance the powers of your spell. Find the right colors that address your situation by looking at the chart below. When you feel the need to help your spell along feel free to light candles that correspond to your problem.
People for centuries have been drawn by the strength and power of fire. Many consider fire to be a god and use it to accompany spiritual or religious rituals. Man, in the earlier days, danced around the burning flame to summon the spiritual and other holy elements. But, with the discovery of candles, they replaced the fire in the rituals and it began to play a central part in harnessing the spirits and power towards it.
The candles used in spiritual rituals hold a great meaning, with each color and ‘dressing’ significant to the purpose to be achieved. People have been burning the candles while casting the spells or performing magic. The color, placement and the dressing of the candle plays a great role in defining the success of the magic and spells.
While using candles for magic, the more you touch the candle, the more you charge it. For the ritual, select the appropriate color of the candle to serve the purpose and take the essential oil to rub it on the candle. While ‘dressing’ the candle for the spell, make sure to start at the top of the candle, and rub the oil to the middle, then start at the bottom and rub some more to the center of the candle. The process of ‘dressing’ the candle varies with the beliefs attached to the magic or spell.

Magical Properties of Herbs, Plants and Trees
Magical Properties of Herbs, Plants and Trees
Hundreds of trees, shrubs, flowers and herbs grow on Earth. The power of these plants is extremely high and enhances the power of spells and rituals.
It is no coincidence that plants are important ingredients in my rituals and play an important role in the alchemy of love and relationship problems.
You can grow the following plants in a ‘love garden’ to strengthen love spells, money spells, protection spells and all other rituals and spells.
Herbs in Magic
Herbs have, and always will be, intrinsically linked with magic in some form. Ever since magic first originated, spell seekers have been using plants and herbs in order to achieve their ends. Traditionally, the village shaman or witch doctor would use complex herbal remedies in order to deal with the foulest and most debilitating of diseases and illnesses.
However, it is not simply the medicinal value, or the fact that many kinds of herb are vital to producing a lovely and interesting recipe to serve to your friends that makes them so useful for magic spells and rituals. The other properties that any herb or plant possesses are ultimately just as valuable when it comes to magic and the various spells that they are appropriate for.
The reason behind the usage of a multitude of different herbs (Lavender and Rosemary spring to mind instantly) in magic rituals and spell casting is simply that they seem to emit an energy from within them. Tapping into this energy, allows the power that they release to be harnessed and used in order to manufacture and cast spells.
Herb use within those who practice magic is an issue that relies entirely on the specific person as many people use herbs on a regular basis, including them in almost every spell. Yet, equally, there are a huge group of people who barely use herbs at all and also many others in between who use them sparingly.
Nonetheless, the diversity of the magical herb is undeniable. Some of the particular herbs allow us to find love, feel protection or even increase the energy and power of other ingredients that they are combined with. This makes them a formidable and incredibly valuable addition to any spell-seeker’s arsenal of magic.

How Herbs and Plants are used in Rituals and Spells
Herbs can be applied in almost every way, but herbs acquired fresh are always more effective than those that have been dried. They can be crushed and dissolved into a liquid, consumed, rubbed on the skin and a number of other methods, meaning that they are exciting and versatile magical ingredients that can fit almost any spell that you care to think of. This serves to increase the level of value they carry to the spell caster.
Even now, the use of herbs is mostly confined to their value in terms of medicine. However, values in healing people are by no means the only aspect of herbs that makes them appealing to those who practice magic on a regular basis. Properties that they have including fragrances and various root configurations can also be utilized for great magical effect.

Overall, herbs are an important aspect of magic due to the simple fact that they are probably the most versatile ingredient that magic can find as they have an application in almost every field, being one of the most useful tools for anyone who practices magic. There is no substitute that is equally versatile and has the same reach of properties in terms of magical value.
Quite literally, the reach of herbal magic is endless.

What is Magic?
Magic or magick can be defined as the discovery and connection of the natural elements on the earth with the supernatural powers that guide and empower them.
Though used interchangeably, the term magic and magick holds different meanings to different people.
Few consider magic and magick to be the same, whereas for others, magic connote the stage magic and ritual magic while magick is a force that employs the power of Wicca, wisdom and knowledge to guide them in the accomplishment of one’s heart’s desires.
Here the terms have been used interchangeably.
The Principle of Black Magic and White Magic
Magic makes use of myriads of rituals depending on the belief of the people behind it. There are both black magic  and white magic rituals. The black magic is concerned with the accomplishment of the end and is nonchalant to the measures taken to achieve them. For example, in love spells, to force one fall for another, the black magic will manipulate the target’s mind turning his attitude towards love and convincing him of the need to love the other. This has made black magic considered evil by many.
White magic, on the other hand, strives to remove the negativity surrounding one and directs him through the path to destination. They stick to the three-fold law that demands these magical practitioners to perform the magical spells in a manner that does not cause harm to others. That’s why especially Wiccan spell casters staunchly stress the fact that the harm so caused will bounce back at thrice the strength. The Wicca  spell casters, for example, stress on the need to hold on to the larger meaning in life and prevent the unsettling of the elements surrounding one for the accomplishment of short-term goals. Not all spiritual paths believe in the concept of the threefold law.
The Practice of Magic
The magical practices are numerous today ranging from the Ancient Egyptian Magic to Voodoo, Santeria, Moon Magic, Obeah, Witchcraft and many more.
Each magical belief upholds its own rituals that are used to communicate with the supreme power.
Through the inclusion of the ingredients like candles, incense sticks, herbs, biological materials, plants and tools etc. the magic practitioners create a positive environment that makes the spell cast a success.
These magical spells work to remove the negativity and channels the energy to offer protection, happiness, wealth and much more depending on the demands that you wish to attain through them.
Magic requires a balance of the personal powers, earthly powers and the heavenly powers to sustain a level that can add to its success. An individual casting the spell or for whom the spell is cast has to hold immense belief in its capacity to generate positive outcome if it is to succeed. Similarly, the various elements present in the earth exude energy that defines the success of the magical spells. Every magical ritual seeks the strength of the heavenly bodies in granting them the wish, with the spell casters working as an intermediary between the supreme power and the person for whom the spell is cast.
The Wisdom and the Strength of Magic
Magic utilizes the strength of the wisdom and knowledge that has been fortified with the passage of time. The secret powers of the rituals have been handed over through the generations by the texts or word of mouth differing with the type of magical belief. The power so gained by the magic practitioners is utilized to bring about changes to the various elements surrounding an incident or an individual. To make the modifications or to coax these elements to move in the desired manner, it demands concentration of mind and skill to visualize them through intense training and experience. Depending on the spell cast and the factors surrounding an individual, the time taken to accomplish one’s heart’s desires vary.
In short, magic is a power that employs power, wisdom and knowledge to change the changeable.

What is Wicca?

Wicca is a newer form of witchcraft—modern witchcraft—that was popularized in the 1950s by a man by the name of Gerald Gardner. It had been practiced, however, since the early 1900s, particularly in England.
Wiccans are practitioners of Wicca and they believe in the worship of two gods—a god and a goddess that are together the entirety of the Godhead. The goddess is seen as the Triple Goddess and the god is seen as the Horned God. There are other deities honored in Wicca as well.
Wiccans practice a form of magic, belong to covens that share information between Wiccans and celebrate eight different festivals or holidays.
Different Types of Wicca
There is more than one form of Wicca. There is Gardnerian Wicca, Alexandrian Wicca and British Traditional Wicca, among others. Some forms of Wicca would rather we call them witches and their practice simply “Witchcraft”.
If you say someone is a Wiccan, you cannot definitely describe what it is that they believe because the different types of Wicca believe somewhat different things. They have different views on the afterlife, on magical beliefs, on morality and on theology. You would have to ask them what type of Wicca they practice in order to understand completely their beliefs.
The God and Goddess
Most Wiccans believe in a god and goddess that are both parts of the total god. This is called duotheism. The goddess is symbolized as governing the earth and the moon. This is the polar opposite of the god, who is considered to be an aspect of the sun. The god governs the life cycle, hunting, sexuality, wilderness and nature. The god has different names, depending on the culture but is often called Pan, Cernunnos, Karnayna or Atho. He is sometimes just called the Sun God. This god is often worshipped during the festival of the Litha, also known as the summer solstice. The god is believed to rule over spring and summer (the Oak King) and autumn and winter (as the Holly King).
The goddess portion of Wicca belief is seen as the Triple Goddess, which represents the maiden, the mother and the old woman or crone. She is seen to oversee the Moon. There are those who practice Wicca who see the goddess as pre-eminent over the god because she conceives all things. The god is considered to be simply the spark of life within her. In some feminist Wiccan belief systems, the god is not worshipped in the slightest and only the goddess is remembered. More about Gods and Goddesses.
The Wiccan Belief
Wiccans have different beliefs in the afterlife. Many believe in reincarnation. It is believed that we reincarnate over and over again in order to learn lessons we need to learn and to become spiritually advanced. Other Wiccans believe we reincarnate into different species but have the same soul.
Some say that you only reincarnate into another witch and remain a witch through all your lives. They believe there is an afterworld or “otherworld” in which the soul resides between lives. Wiccans believe you can contact someone in the afterlife who is in the otherworld by using Ouija boards or mediums. The holiday of Samhain (Halloween) is a time when the film between the otherworld and this world is very thin, making it a good time to meet with those who have passed on.
The Practice of Wicca
Those who practice Wicca also practice magic, through witchcraft or sorcery. The sometimes practice magic in the form of covens, where they practice magic together. Wiccans often believe that magic is just one of the laws of nature that is simply misunderstood by those in conventional science. They don’t see magic as supernatural but as part of the natural order of things. Some Wiccans believe they know how magic works and others believe only in the practice of magic but don’t understand how it operates.
Wicca Spells
Wicca magic spells should never come from malice and hatred. These spells  are meant to coincide with the natural to bring forth well comings and good tidings. There are various publications available from which you can collect some useful Wicca magic spells including love spells and success spells that can assist you in living a happy life.
Performing Wicca magic spells will involve specific chants to be recited per the instructions a specific number of times. If you do not follow through with the rituals, you cannot expect for it to work the way you desire. Improperly performing the spells can cause problems and even harm to you or others so it is important for those of you who are inexperienced to find a spell caster that can assist you properly. What is Witchcraft?

For some time, witches have been thought of as bad people.  Shown in movies and books to be the givers of curses and hexes, little has been done to improve the image of a witch.
Witchcraft is not a negative spiritual path, nor is it even considered to be a path at all.
People can simply do witchcraft and be quite content with the results, even if they don’t call themselves a witch.  To clear up the confusion about witchcraft, here is some basic information about a practice which has been cultivated since possibly the beginning of human kind.
If you were to ask several witches to define witchcraft, you would find you get several different answers.  The truth is the witchcraft can be a very personal practice, one which varies from witch to witch.  At its core, however, is a deeper connection with the energies of the earth and a willingness to incorporate these energies into spell work.  Witches are able to use their minds and their bodies to access the energies in the universe, bending their will to reshape consciousness.  In the earliest days, witches seem to be typically women, the medicine women of a tribe.  People were brought to these women and they were cured of their woes with natural remedies and rituals.  As modern medicine came along, medicine women were pushed aside, but the practice remained.
Many witches celebrate and honor a pantheon of Gods and Goddesses, though some might also simply pick and choose between deities as the need arises.  Some practitioners of witchcraft like to be more formal in their practices, while others describe themselves as kitchen witches who use whatever may be available.  Recognizing the relationship of energy to the world is the main guidelines for practicing witchcraft, for if this can not be mastered, then the witch can not be effective in his or her spells.
Can Anyone Use Witchcraft?
But for many, people are afraid to use witchcraft if they don’t identify as witches.  Whether this is right or not is a matter which might be debated hotly among witches, but as long as a person has a pure intention and they understand the energy they are using, then they can go ahead and work spells.  Witchcraft doesn’t discriminate, but there does still need to be a measure of respect for the rituals and for the sacred energies being used.
What Can Witchcraft Do for You?
With witchcraft, you can do a number of things.  Working spells is the most common practice that is taken from the craft.  You can create an intention, then find ways to intensify this intention, cast a spell, and then watch the results come to you.  For beginners spells don’t have to be complicated endeavors, just earnest focusing of one’s energy toward a specific cause or goal.  You can use witchcraft to help with money, love, and protection, as well as any other concerns you might have.  Some people use witchcraft to help the environment, to help with political causes, and to aid those who are suffering.  No matter how you use witchcraft, so long as you use it for a greater good and with positive thoughts in mind, that’s all that matters.
Witchcraft and spells really aren’t as scary as some might think.  These are merely basic practices of honing one’s energy and intention, then raising energy to make it reality.  Everyone has the ability to change their life by altering and moving energy.  Simple and effective, witchcraft has been around for many years, helping people help themselves by working with nature and with energies which have always been around them.

Do Love Spells really work?
Many things in life work for some people but don’t seem to find favor with others. When it comes to love spells, yes, they work. It is for the higher good of those involved, so if you are really serious about it, love is all you will get.
Some people tend to use spells with ulterior motives and to harm another. In this case, spells won’t really work but they will work back on you three times more, so if you cast a spell to harm another, three times the harm will come your way. Love spells will only work when you have positive energies and goodness when you set your heart on someone.

The Universal Laws of Energy
Love spells work with the universal laws of energy, which has the potential to give you what you desire. There may be times when our desires are not actually in line with our spiritual growth and happiness, which is what causes conflict. Therefore, you must be careful what you ask for, which is very important when hiring someone to perform love magic on your behalf. Now that you know that spells work, you would be curious to find out how they actually work.
How Do I make Love Spells Work?
Love spells are based on the amount of energy that is put into them. This is why you need an experienced spell caster that can concentrate and focus on your issue at hand. This is also a reason why you must remain a positive outlook even after the spell has been cast.
The inherent powers within you lie dormant, which is what you either need to learn to release through practice or you need to hire an effective spell caster, that can do all the work for you. Their powers when combined with your positive thoughts and desires create a powerful energy which is released into the universe and directed at the person of your desire.
The Important Factors of Making Love Spells Work
A number of factors work together when a love spell ist cast on your behalf.
To begin with, they are based on the principle of the Law of Attraction where like attracts like. When you are positive and loving, someone similar will be attracted towards you. Whatever energies you send out you will also receive.
Another factor that contributes to a successful spell is your aura. This is the energy field that surrounds you. Your aura must be clean and free from all negativity. A clean aura helps draw the attention of your soul mate. All my Love spells get rid of negative energies and cleanse your as well as the aura of the person you desire. All this cannot happen if you do not have faith and belief. These are two things that make spells work. A constant stream of positive thoughts will bring about the desired result. You also need pure and direct intent. Intention is a pure energy that is potent enough to make love spells work.
Please be sure that you really want the results of your love spells. If you are uncertain, don’t engage in love spells as they won’t work.
Why Love Spells Work
Love spells are powerful tools in your quest for happiness.  While you might know what you want and you try everything you can to find love in your life, sometimes you need support in the form of magic to help you.  Love magic works because they are aligned with the truest power in the world – love.  Everyone deserves to find love in their lives – including you.  All you have to do to have the love you want is to ask for it, in the form of an authentic magical ritual.
Love Conquers All
A love ritual involves the positive energy of compassion.  When you begin to feel compassion and genuine concern for another being, it is a magical thing.  This positive energy attracts other positive people, leading to the possibility of finding true love that lasts. They work because the attraction of one positive energy source to another is undeniable – and difficult to stop. In fact, spells work more frequently because they have the best intentions, rather than just hopeful wishes. The same applies to returning lovers or removing problems from a relationship.
The Power of Love
Deep down, all believe that love can fix all things, right all wrongs, and save all of our sorrows – and this collective consciousness allows us to tap into the possibility that simply bringing love into our lives is enough to change the way we feel.  Love spells work because we already believe they will.  We already believe that love is something we can have, that we should have, and that we WILL have.
With all of this power, love magic rituals work each time they are called upon to assist someone. And while you may have been unlucky in love up to this point, this does not have to be the case anymore.
Love spells work and they can work for you.

Do Real Witches and Spell Casters exist?
Sometimes I receive emails from people asking me if I am real and that they do not believe that any real witches or spell casters do exist.
It’s completely understandable because many people see movies about witches, spell casters and about spells, only to think that these must be fictional creatures.
After all, a person can’t be that powerful, that magical in nature, can they?  But the truth is that real witches and spell casters do exist and they’re not always wearing pointy hats and long black cloaks.  In fact, you may already know a real witch and it might not be obvious. It’s not in the clothes a witch wears, but in the powers he or she has to affect change in the world.
The Truth about Witches and Spell Casters
A real witch is someone who has developed a power or was born with a gift to change the energy of the world around themselves. Whether this power is innate, a natural gift, or something they have developed over time, a real witch is someone who knows what to do in order to make something happen.  They use ritual, spells, or other tools to help them affect change.  And no matter how they use their power to create a difference, they can still be no different than anyone else on the surface.

Why Witches and Spell Casters Remain Hidden
However, the world is not as accepting of the idea that real witches exist, so they are often hidden from sight – by choice.  They realize that some people will not understand their powers and that they need to keep their identities a secret.  And as a result, you might not know who is a witch and who is not.  But just as spells need to have silence and secrecy in order to work, this secrecy among real witches can help to enhance their power.
So even if you’re not sure if you know a real witch or spell caster, you can be assured that real witches do exist.  And real witches can help you to cast a spell that brings love into your life once more.
I hope this answers some of your questions you may have in regards to spell casters and witches.

What are Soul Mates?
Love is what everyone wants and needs in their life. Whether you want to love a man or a woman, the truth is that all want to find that special someone that makes the world brighter.
Some call this perfect person their soul mate, their perfect partner in life. While some might disagree with the idea everyone only having one soul mate, one thing is clear – soul mates are out there for those who are ready and willing to meet them, love them, and believe in them.
Love for Everyone
No matter how long you’ve been single or how many times you’ve been hurt, love is still waiting out there for you.  Everyone deserves to have love in their lives and to meet a person who truly cares for them.  Believing in the idea of love is the first step toward meeting your soul mate.  Once you create the energy within yourself that you have someone waiting for you, you can begin to increase the possibility of soul mates meeting and finally getting the chance to love each other.
A Person Who Completes You
Soul mates are people who understand you completely and who want to know everything about you.  These are people who aren’t afraid to love you and all of your faults, just as you are willing to love them and all of their faults.  This perfect connection will still have its ups and its downs, but being with the right person makes all the difference.  Being able to be with someone who is committed to working through the ups and downs, that is what makes the love all the more eternal.
You have a soul mate, or two, out there waiting for you.  With love spells, you can find them and bring them to you – whether they belong. Soul mates can be found anywhere in the world.  The difference between this person and everyone else you have had a relationship with is that this person completes you.  You can feel his or her presence thousands of miles away and you could not imagine your life without this person.  There is a connection that goes much more beyond physical attraction, but you are linked spiritually through your energy.
Spells for Soul Mates
When you do find this person, you will feel that this person can reach deep down inside of you.  When spells are cast, your bond with this person can become increasingly more powerful since it was destined for the two of you to be together.   Some spells that can be cast onto soul mates include eternal love bonds and even an attraction spell, to attract your soul mate to you.  Some believe that soul mates do not exist but a lucky few do realize who this person is in their life and they pursue this love with all of their heart.
Soul Mate Versus the Perfect Match
One clarification that should be made with the term “soul mates” is that this term is different from finding the perfect man or woman.  Soul mates are not perfect and they may have many flaws.  However, these flaws can be fixed due to the relationship or can be balanced by your strengths.  Likewise, your flaws will be balanced by the strengths of your soul mate.  This makes it crucial to avoid trying to change this person since everything that he or she has to offer will balance you.  Find your soul mate today.

Voodoo and Love Spells
The religious beliefs and practice of voodoo has its origins in West Africa, where a variety of religions were practiced in ancient times. In Haiti, voodoo has been granted the official status of a religion in 2003. The Africans took this practice with them wherever they went including Haiti and New Orleans.
This religion involves the casting of spells during a ritual. According to beliefs, nature is controlled by a spiritual force that needs to be revered and recognized through animal sacrifices and offerings. Many practitioners communicate with their gods and spirits through trances. Many rituals and spells performed are linked to magic, which is an integral aspect of voodoo. The practice has been influenced by many cultures, and continues to grow in spite of being criticized for being associated with magic.
Houngans and Mambos
Men and women are allowed to take up priesthood in Voodoo. Male priests are known as ‘houngan’, and female priests are referred to as ‘mambo’. Spells and rituals are cast by these priests for various purposes including healing the sick, casting love spells, and for religious ceremonies, among others. Everyone participates in religious ceremonies which are usually held outdoors. These ceremonies are accompanied with music and dancing with the drums being playing an integral part in any ceremony or ritual.
As a religion, Voodoo features the appointment of Queen Mothers who play a similar role to that of a Bishop in Catholicism. These are elderly women in the tribes that look after the spiritual needs of the clan. One of the main aspects of voodoo is their belief that instead of an afterlife, the dead live among them as spirits. The tools used in ceremonies, rituals, and spells include talismans made from dried animal parts as a means of protection from evil. It is also common to use plants, herbs, oils, as well as voodoo dolls. Voodoo can be used for both good and evil purposes.
Voodoo Dolls
Voodoo dolls are said to contain magical energies that are required to cast spells. Therefore, it is advisable to have an experienced practitioner cast voodoo spells for you. To be effective, these rituals need to be cast in the right way so that it brings no harm to anyone. While these dolls can attract negative energies and bring bad luck, they can be used with good intentions. They can be used to enhance your career, bring back lost love, and for many other reasons as long as there are no evil intentions within you or within the practitioner. Voodoo love spells are the most commonly used spells where candles, flowers, herbs, and voodoo dolls are used. Sometimes, even love potions are made in order to cast a love spell.
Voodoo has the power to bring rewards and gifts to those who use it for good purposes and are willing to place their destiny in the hands of the spirits.  The voodoo doll continues to play a prominent role in rituals, whether it is a healing spell or a love spell. The spirits are said to bring harmony, peace, luck, good health, and happiness to those who believe in voodoo. Click here to contact me for a Case Analysis and Spell Recommendation.

Voodoo is one of the oldest religions in the world with powerful ties to the spirit world.  Some people think that Voodoo is a new, untried form or superstition, but these people don’t understand the real origin of Voodoo and the power it holds.
Voodoo Love Spells and the Power of Loas
Voodoo is thousands of years old and calls on the help of the many Loas, or sacred spirits, that exist in the spirit world.  These Loas have the ancestral spirits of those who have moved on from this world to the next.  Powerful when they were in this world, they are even more powwe.
power to these magical objects.
For the most powerful Voodoo love spells, a Voodoo doll might be used.  Unlike the Hollywood image of an old crone sticking pins into a doll and making someone scream, the use of a Voodoo doll is a way to focus energy and effect from the spiritual realm on the spell being cast.  Charms, pins or other objects used with a Voodoo doll are used to focus and direct the energy of the spell, not to cause physical pain!

When you are ready to take control of your love life and your future happiness, remember that Voodoo spells call on the accumulated wisdom and magical powers of thousands of years.  Armed with a powerful spell casting and the natural energy of a talisman consecrated to aid you with the guidance of the Loas ancestors, you can finally find and keep eternal love.

Comparing Witchcraft to other forms of Magic
When you think of witchcraft, you may have a certain image in your mind.  There is not just one type of witchcraft, including those who practice Wicca.  Most witchcraft you’ll see however is very positively oriented and it can be said that all witchcraft believes in the creed of not harming anyone in the practice of witchcraft.  There is really no such thing as a “white witch” or a “black witch”.  What comes out of a spell depends on the spell that is spoken.
There are many forms of witchcraft, some questionable, some negative, and then there are some that are positive and focus more on connecting with natural elements in the world, avoiding bringing in unfamiliar and sometimes unwelcome elements.
Witchcraft is similar to but not the same as practices that also believe in rituals and spells.  Let’s take a look at some of these other practices to see how they are the same and how they differ from witchcraft.
Egyptian Witchcraft
Egyptian magic, the mother of all magical practices, is a form of magic practiced since ancient Egyptian times.  It involves the use of elaborate ceremonies, magical spells, formulas for magical work, and amulets—similar to the practice of magic in the US but with different things that are important to it.  The talismans are different, the spells are different and the rituals and ceremonies are different.  Magic shaped their view of the world like a religion shapes our views and magic has become somewhat of a religion in Egyptian magic.  It is believed that practitioners of Heka have practiced the religion since the prehistoric times.  They believe that the entire earth, including the sky and underworld, have both visible and invisible beings in them and these beings can be unfriendly or friendly to us.  The object of Egyptian magic is to have pre-eminence over these beings.  In many ways, it is both similar to and different  from the witchcraft we know in the US. Egyptian Witchcraft is one of the oldest but also one of the most effective and potent form of witchcraft available to mankind.
Obeah Magic
For example, there is the practice of Obeah or “Obi”.  It is a type of folk magic practiced in the West Indies, with origins in the Central and Western African areas. Like witchcraft, it can have dark or good purposes.  There is a strong belief in the use of luck and charms along with an element of mysticism in this practice.  Its origin in the Western world came from the slave trade from Africa to the area near Jamaica.  It is related to Voodoo in some areas.  The myths are related to ancient African folklore with some European folklore thrown in.
Santeria Magic
Santeria is considered a syncretic religion based on beliefs coming out of the Caribbean and West Africa.  It has priests that are called babalorishas and priestesses that are called iyalorishas.  There are various levels of the priesthood associated with this religion.  The religion evolved from the West African slave trade and is primarily practiced in the Caribbean.  They believe in the ability to create a trance state in which you can communicate with your ancestors.  They practice animal sacrifice and sacred drumming practices.  Approximately 20,000 people practice Santeria in the US.
Voodoo
Voodoo enjoys a higher degree of practitioners than those who practice Santeria.  It is an old religion practiced primarily in the Caribbean and Southern USA.  It mixes Catholicism and Western African beliefs and uses things like talismans, dolls and other items to make things happen or to protect oneself from something.  It incorporates the use of voodoo priests and priestesses.  Like witchcraft, voodoo incorporates the idea of using the power of the Universe.  The saints of Catholicism are used as part of this religion.
Moon Magick
Moon magick practitioners worship the moon and believe we are governed in part because of it.  Like witchcraft, it uses spells that are related to the phases of the moon but they are more serious about it than regular practitioners of magic.  The moon is seen to have a strong pull on the forces of the earth and therefore on everything that happens on the earth.   To practitioners of moon magick, the moon is considered the most important heavenly body and it should impact the performance of spells the most out of all things.  The moon is considered a female entity that governs all things female, including the menstrual cycle.  It is mostly women who practice this form of magick.
Wicca
There is nothing about Wicca that should be negative as it involves various female and male gods of the elements such as water, earth, fire, and air. Casting Wicca Magic Spells will, of course, involve the use of several amulets or talismans based on these gods and the elements.
Wicca magic spells are not quite like regular spells. Nothing is materializing from thin air, in fact, Wicca magic spells are more like requests to the gods for things you may need. Many of these spells can be quite simple such as landing a job or gig, or finding prosperity. Most of these spells are permanent as well. Once they are cast, it is believed that the gods will grant your specific request if they find that you are honoring them well as well as performing the necessary ritual informing them of your devotion and requests.

Casting White Magic Love Spells
Psychics and spell casters who specialize in love spells know that the power of the universe and the energy that surrounds both you and the person you love is a strong, pulsing energy that they can use for your benefit. By the use of magical objects, such as Talismans, traditional rituals and words that are both symbolic and loaded with magic themselves, spell casters can change the path of your future. The spells may also use meditation, prayer and psychic stimulation.
Casting a white magic spell isn’t a way to harm or injure anyone, and it doesn’t take away their free will. In fact, love spells properly done enhance the lives of those involved because they open up the person intellectually, emotionally and spiritually to new possibilities and insights.
White Magic Love Spells Take Many Forms
A spell to return a lover to you doesn’t force the person to return, but opens up his or her heart and soul to the powerful emotions that first drew them to you, revealing a pathway back to the emotions that originally brought you together and reaffirming the love that was thought to be lost.
Witchcraft spells channel the positive energy around a couple to strengthen the bonds that are already there, ensuring that the bonds of love with be strong enough to overcome any real world obstacles. That is the reason why spells to make someone fall in love with you and spells to return a lover or bring back an ex are so successful and powerful.
It is this focusing and distilling of positive energy in its purest form that makes white magic spells so meaningful. Those who cast these spells call on their own spiritual guides to enhance the lives of the people they are casting spells for. White magic love spells stimulate all of the positive energy associated with love, including longing, forgiveness and understanding. You can choose from many different love spells in order to get the results you desire that are just right for you and that special person in your life.
Positive Participation in Shaping Your Own Destiny
One thing that all white magic love spells have in common is that they are designed to exert influence, but they do not rob people of their free will. The spells of white magic are designed to be beneficial to those involved (both the one invoking or requesting the spell and the person the spell is cast on) by opening them to the right path for lasting love.
If you are having problems in your romantic life, take heart that a properly cast love spell is the perfect way to take charge of you life. Rather than simply resigning yourself to an unfortunate or undesirable fate, you are actively using the powers of the spirit world to bring about the desires of your heart. White magic love spells put the great magic of the spiritual world to work for you.

The Threefold Law
One of the most common question I receive is in regards to the threefold law. Egyptian magic is powerful magic.
Not only can it help you find the love you want in your life, but you can also keep that lover in your life with these magic spells.
What you might worry about, however, is the power of the threefold law.
Knowing how your actions and your spells affect others as well as yourself is the first step to responsible magic and magic which will work for your needs.
What the Threefold Law Says
The threefold law simply states that whatever you send out into the universe, you will get back three times.  So, if you send out bad things, then you’re going to get the same bad things back in your life, three times as bad.  Conversely, if you send out good energies, you will get these good energies back in your life three times.  Thus, it makes sense to only send out good energy and magic spells as you don’t want to have negative things happen to you.
Why Egyptian Magic Spells are Okay
With Egyptian magic spells, since you’re only sending out good intentions that do not harm anyone, the threefold law will not apply. The threefold law mainly applies to Wiccan spells. Wiccans are strong believers of this law and it certainly applies to those, that follow the religion of Wicca. In Egyptian Magic you are not going to be sending anyone any negative intentions and you’re not going to be forcing anyone against their will to do something they don’t want to do – a karmic and threefold law no-no.  Instead, you will be working with the threefold law to enhance the positive feelings you have to produce the positive results you want.
First off all, the threefold law doesn’t apply to Egyptian magic spells, and secondly you’re not going to have any ill effects, you will only see the positive side of your magic spells – three times over.
I hope this clears up a lot of questions in regards to the threefold law.

The Powers of Ramses
Ramses was a powerful leader in the time of ancient Egypt.  And it can be difficult to identify Ramses as there were many people who took on the name as they ascended to the throne.  In fact, nine other pharaohs took on the name of Ramses after one such man came to power.
The most popular and most deified Ramses was Ramses II.  Not only was his time of power a magic spell of sorts, he became so beloved by his people that offerings were left at his tomb long after he died.
Ramses the Leader
Watching over the people was the goal of Ramses.  By protecting the lands from invaders and taking land to help secure the empire, Ramses was able to connect with the needs of the people and to make their lands strong.  The people were able to enjoy luxuries and they were happy and content in his magic of sorts.
Protection of the People
At no other time was a leader so involved in the protection of his people.  Instead of being focused on personal gain, Ramses strove to protect the people who lived in his lands.  Venerated as a god, Ramses was a leader who was emulated by every other leader after him, for many years to follow.  He even created a peace treaty with the Hittites that pervaded the land and sought to hurt the people.
Rewriting History
Scribes in a later time even rewrote mythology to include Ramses in the stories as one of the gods, even though he was a mortal man.  But during a ritual in the 30th year of his reign, Ramses was transformed into a god.  Living many more years than others had before him, Ramses had a vision of peace that can be used in magic spell workings, as even if he was unsuccessful, he never gave up on the possibility that peace could be finally realized.

The God: Amun Ra
He is the ultimate god of entire ancient Egypt; many of the Egyptians considered him as the God of Kings and King of Gods! He is the oldest and the most worshipped ruler of ancient Egypt.
Amun Ra simply means: Hidden Light (Amun = Hidden/ Ra = Light)
Recent research findings show us that Amun (Amen or Amon) is a modern god, within the ambits of Egyptian mythology. Historians also believe that the famous Sun temple as the capital of Thebes was recorded only during the period of 11th dynasty and onwards. The god Amun was so successful in replacing that irrepressible god of war, Montu, as the main god of Thebes during the early periods of the New Kingdom; during this interlude, he started getting his recognition as the King of Gods. In Egyptian mythology, Amun is the ram with extremely curved horns; ram signifies fertility, as symbolized by ram’s great proactive and fertile energy! Legend says that pharaohs always liked to call themselves as “beloved of Amun”, meaning that they were the real representatives of the god of fertility. As a pharaoh was the “Son of Ra”, it was natural to call the god Amun as the father of the Monarch. Amun was the god of the Thebal capital and as a result, he was so successful in attaining the status of the supreme god of the whole kingdom. The almighty god Amun personifies the Sun God and the Sun is the symbol of birth and energy.
With Egypt’s prominence in the worldwide political and social scenarios, he also gained popularity as a universal god.
By the end of the 25th dynasty, Amun Ra was considered as the chief god of the Nubian kingdom of Napata
During the early Greek civilizations, Greeks considered him the Egyptian synonym of Zeus!
However, another inscription of the pyramid text procured from the Old Kingdom of Fifth dynasty shows him to be the main deity and a rare symbol of universal force; this lone inscription seems to assign the theory that the great Sun God had his own charisma and magnetism.
God Amun was also the most important god among the octet of Ogdoad gods of Hermopolis and it is here, where people started worshipping Amun in a significant way. However, Nubians of ancient Egypt believed that Amun took his birth in a place called Gebel Barkal in the northern part of present Sudan.
Known to be the god of creation, Amun Ra is an Egyptian God with much to teach the modern world.  Revered in Thebes and around the region, Amun Ra allowed those who worshipped him the ability to create all that they needed and all that they wanted.  Whether through a magic spell or through devotion, Amun Ra welcomed all at his altar.
Creating the Life You Want
For many who follow and study Amun Ra, they believe that he created himself – without the need for a mother or father.  In this sense, he is the breath of life, the innate force that allows us to delve into ourselves in order to create the love we desire.  In looking at Amun Ra, you see that creation is not something which comes from outside of ourselves, but it is a force which comes from the depths of your being.
Breathing in Possibility
Amun Ra was also known as the father God, a God that also reigned over the Sun and over the fertility of the region.  By shining his light down onto the lands, he was able to boost the growth of crops and to ensure that flooding did not happen along the Nile.  But as with any god, when people did not worship him, he was just as willing to turn away, to remove the light in order to show what the people were missing.
A Magic Spell of Light
With the powers of Amun Ra, a magic spell can be created to grow a more fertile love life.  However, another lesson to be taken from Amun Ra is that no matter how often he disappears, or is hidden from sight, he continues to return, to reemerge when one has faith.  The sun returns again the next day – and so does the hope that you will have all that you desire.
This identification led to another merger of identities, with Amun becoming Amun-Ra. In the Hymn to Amun-Ra he is described as “Lord of truth, father of the gods, maker of men, creator of all animals, Lord of things that are, creator of the staff of life.”…”

The Powers of Cleopatra
While Cleopatra was the ruler of Egypt, she realized that her people wanted to deify her – and with good reason.  She became known as the last Queen, and the last protector of her people.  To help her connect with her people, she took on many of the powers of Isis, even proclaiming herself to be the ‘New Isis’ for the people in the lands.
The Magic of Cleopatra
Cleopatra’s strength is what guided her in her leadership over the people.  Using a magic spell with Cleopatra’s name allows you to get the same protection and mothering energy.  Cleopatra watches over the people and wants to keep them safe and happy.  However, in doing so, she was forced to make a difficult decision – to kill her brother Ptolemy.
The Love of Cleopatra’s Life
The story of Mark Antony and Cleopatra is one that has been immortalized in film and in song, as their love was deep and strong.  Together, they bore a set of twins and they ruled the lands of Rome and Egypt together.  Their power was great, but they were not without tragedy.  Antony was beat in a sea battle off the coast of Greece and then later committed suicide.
The Sadness of Cleopatra
Cleopatra’s love and devotion to her lover were so great that she decided to kill herself do instead of facing defeat or humiliation.  She killed herself with the bite of a cobra, signaling the end of the Empire of the Pharaohs.  In this act, we see that her greatest magic spell offering is her commitment to love and to seeing it honored.
A magic spell with Cleopatra can be used for love situations in which you feel helpless or powerless.  You always have the power to do something, even if the action is difficult.  Cleopatra will aid you and watch over you.

The Goddess: Isis

Isis is the most famous god of entire Egypt and she was the sister of Osiris, Nepthys and Seth, and the proud daughter of Nut and Geb. She was also the affectionate mother of Horus, the famed child! Symbolized as the woman, she is wearing vulture-like headdress and a permanent solar disk interspersed with a pair of horns. She is also fond of wearing double crowns of North and the South, adorned with the well-known feathers of Maat or a pair of ram’s horns. As the proud wife of Osiris, she was always eager to assist her husband. In fact, she brought the dead Osiris back to his life, so that he could make her pregnant to give birth to her son Horus. Isis is also the vital link between the earthly people and the heavenly gods. Living Horus is the almighty pharaoh and he is visible as suckling Isis’ heavenly breasts. Isis protected and preserved Horus when he was a child; his mean uncle Seth always wanted him dead. Isis is also a great magician and her magical skills were the folklore of the entire country; she created the first cobra and extracted its venom to cajole Re to reveal his secret name. Isis is also a god known for her role in providing life and food to the deceased.
Apart from being the greatest of all Egyptian goddesses, she was also a highly beneficial goddess and a dear mother, whose kinship encompassed all living creatures. She also represented the entire woman folk with her love and affection. Strangely, her worship spilled over to the far way borders of England too!
Quote
The goddess Isis (the mother of Horus) was the first daughter of Geb, god of the Earth, and Nut, the goddess of the Overarching Sky, and was born on the fourth intercalary day. …”

The Powers of Isis
Isis, one of the most recognized and celebrated goddesses in Egypt, was not a simple woman.  Not only was she the sister of Osiris, but she had to become his lover in order to give birth to Horus, her son.  She is frequently associated with being a goddess of motherhood, magic, and fertility as a result.
Isis’ Many Faces
Isis was also a goddess who was tasked with protecting the dead and with watching over children in many  magic spells.  She is also considered to be the ideal wife and mother to all, while also being a patron of nature for the world.  Isis does not limit her magic spell power to those that are rich or who already have what they need.  She listens to the poor, to those in pain, and to those who are desperate in their lives.
The Tears of Isis
Isis is not without her own sorrow, it is said.  She cried many tears when her husband died and some say this is why the Nile continues to flood to this day, as her tears filled the river. Osiris’ death and rebirth is a part of many magic spells by Isis and with her presence.  All that dies can be reborn once more, she seems to tell us.
The Magic of Isis
A magic spell with Isis is one which can be simple, but powerful. Her serene presence and her dedication to all people allows her to listen to the woes of people, while also bringing hope.  She is known as the Queen of Heaven, the Mother of all Gods, and the One Who is All.  Isis helps the crops to grow with her fertility powers, just as your own seeds can begin to grow with her guidance and assistance.

The Importance of Positive Thinking
Once you’ve had someone else cast a spell for you, you don’t have do anything, right?  Not so.  Once the magic spell has been released into the world, there is a lot you can do in order to ensure its success.
While the spell itself will be working its own magic, you need to keep your mind positive in order to encourage the spell’s energy to grow more and more powerful to speed its success and to ensure the results you desire.
Think Positively
Your mind is capable of so many things.  And while we often take our minds for granted, this can not be the case when it comes to white magic spells.  Each time we allow our minds to drift into the negative side of what might happen with our spells, we create a crack in the spell’s energy.  If there are enough cracks, then the spell can break apart, leaving you without the results you desire.  Instead, you need to think in your mind and in your heart that the spell is going to work.
How to Turn on the Positive
If you find your mind drifting away from positive thinking, you need to refocus your attention on what you want.  Picture the results in your mind, picture all that you want to have, and believe that it can be yours.  The more energy you direct toward this positive outcome, the more powerful magical spells will become.  The spell will be able to work faster and the results will be precisely what you wanted them to be.
Positive Energies of Magic Spells
Magic spells are energy and in order for this energy to do the things you want it to do, you need to be a part of the process.  Feed the energy of the magic spells with positive thinking – and you’ll be glad you did.
Exploring the the Concept of Positive Thinking
One of the best selling books of all times was written way back in the 20th Century and has been disappearing of the shelves consistently for many decades. The Power of Positive Thinking is a simple, straightforward work that shows us how simple some very important learning about ourselves can be.
What a gloriously simple idea—keep you thoughts on the positive side. Johnny Mercer—The Gentleman from Savannah—wrote a song back in the same period of time as that in which Mr. Peale wrote his book: ‘Accentuate the Positive’
These simple works—as so often is the case—stay around because they ring a bell deep within. The clichés stay around forever because they pulse with deep, fundamental truths.
Try this powerful litmus test. For the next two days, try to be as quiet as possible, not engaging heartily in conversation, but listening with care. Do this in all the circles through which you move and pay very close attention. Let the nature of the language in and note how it is used. How many types of negativity exist? Chances are very strong that you will be amazed at how much of our time is spent bad mouthing, bemoaning, feeling sorry for ourselves, talking about how screwed up things are for us.
After leaving the pow-wow, look around closely: the trees, the flowers, the sky, parts of the built environment—how many things are wonderful, are in fact excellent, then think about how many of the negatives in the conversations are actually inventions designed to support the mutual, negative viewpoint.
Look closely at how abundant this behavior of latching onto myths fed by the negative is and how much energy we lose as we ensnare ourselves in them. Think of how powerful the Casting of Spells, or the receiving of Castings could become if that energy were put to work constructively. We work so hard at weaving more and more so-called problems and lamenting them. Our minds latch onto the wasteful subject and grow wildly discursive, simply draining off energy in the effort to maintain this pointless negative, run away mind-set.
Losing out by letting Negativity consume you
While we lose ourselves in this wild spinning of the negative, we lose so much of our lives. This is not to say that negative energy is bad, that it is not a part of our total beings, no—it must be manifested when required. The behavior becomes a signal, the person is being wasteful of everyone’s precious time—we all know in one beat of our intuition what is correct and what is inappropriate. This is never a middle class constraining of one’s behavior, a recipe by some control freak, an attempt to tell us who we should be. No, quite the contrary, this is a formula for getting closer to our real selves, to peeling another layer off the onion. It is time to fully engage negative, energy. If one has engaged the other Karma Yogas to no avail, it is time to push this person off the path and move on with the great communion at hand. The Positive then springs up again, tangible and whole, making us feel light and fully present.
Allow yourself to See the Beauty of Life
Life is so full and wonderful, ripe with mystery, with possibilities, with wondrous things to explore like all the teachings from the Mystery Schools of Ancient Egypt. The pursuit of the spirit work in the schools, the depth of understanding, the material to pass on to others. So much awaits us around every turn in the road. The closer we get to our genuine, authentic beings, the simpler it is to drop the union with groups of people who spend so much of their lives entwined in negative thought.
This is not the pure negative energy of telling a person to buzz off. The energy of people bunched up, reveling in their brilliant observations about how screwed up everything is provides a deep grave of fear, a web of the protracting of our initial spark of negativity, which is one of the most brilliant forces in the universe. We absolutely know how to cut through the convoluted, entrapping negative energy and it is extremely vital that we do it, and fast. Express our simple, immediate negative reactions immediately and run like a cat from a dog whenever we encounter the convoluted negative energy.
When working with all parts of the Great Egyptian Teachings it is of the utmost importance to remain in, and always work within the power of one’s own Positive. However, do not turn this into a silly, phony, goof-ball thing in which one grins and makes nice. Authenticity is absolutely essential when working with Egyptian Spell Casting, and all work related to it, especially when working with powerful spell caster such as myself.
Egyptian symbols, the teachings are some of the most basic, profound understanding on the earth, they made manifest all the great learning process that arose after the last ice age, around forty thousand years ago. This is something to be happy about, very happy about, to feel honored to participate in and grow to know intimately. This is cause for celebration and opening the doors to the positive.
We are not looking for a silly, vacuous, politically correct positivity here—we don’t come to the event dressed in the emperors new clothes. If we are nude, it is very good, very ripe and full of opportunity to dress up correctly. To put on a suit and tie and look grand. Here the phony attitude of grinning like a opossum and trying to impress others with what wonderful, positive folks we are doesn’t cut it. No, this is another thing.
Here, we are so excited about sacred consciousness, the knowing, the gnosis, the authentic, in-ourselves—forces that we know well, which permeate all time and space with the light, limber excitement of being—that we don’t have to try, to strain, to be politically correct, to make a deep effort to be positive and uplifting. No, the situation takes care of it for us. In fact, the powerful work we are doing, the viewpoint of society through the great mystery of the Sphinx’s point of view, is so remarkable that we ARE positive, energy—there is no choice, no dodging, no being coy. The light is now emanating from our beings like a searchlight at the carnival and our positive energy draws others to us like moths to a porch light in the middle of summer.

Hexes, Curses and Evil Eyes

I am always surprised to receive emails from people that are so scared of magic and witchcraft.
Unfortunately for many people, the idea of magic denotes something negative, something scary, and something that could hurt them.
But this is not the case, nor does it have to be the case.
Of course, this does not mean that people can not take measures to protect themselves from the bad things in the world.
With measures like the evil eye, jinxes, and curses, you can make sure your life is safe and happy, without hurting anyone else.
The Evil Eye
The evil eye is a magical measure which helps to make sure no one is trying to harm you. This eye looks out from you or your home in the form of a magic spell or in a physical eye, watching out for any harmful energy or foes.  In looking out at the world, the evil eye will protect you or your home from any harm.  Some like to hang the eye of Horus in their home or above the front door of their house as a way to keep their family safe.  You might also want to find a piece of jewelry that has the eye of Horus to help carry the protection around with you wherever you go.
Jinxes and Curses
More active forms of protect include jinxes and curses.  Some witches and magical practitioners will use these actions to help hurt someone else, but this is not necessarily.  In fact, you might not want to send out this sort of hurtful energy as the threefold law states that would receive that hurtful energy back threefold.  However, protecting yourself from jinxes and curses from others is not a bad idea, nor is looking into ways to break jinxes and curses others may have placed on you.  If you’ve been finding that you all of the sudden have had bad luck or bad things happen to you, you might need to have a curse or a jinx removed. It can be easily included into your next spell.
In matters related to Egyptian spirit questing, the Authentic Spell Casting can often run into the stumbling block of words. The Authentic Spell Caster uses a vocabulary laced with the arcane names of talismans, tools like the amulet of the heart, the amulet of the scarab, the amulet of the tet, the amulet of the pillow, with all their rich Egyptian meaning. These items are not really that difficult to find or obscure in this day of global, electronic connection—they are right there in a cyberspace as common as Ebay. But this does not cast out confusion entirely. Terms like hex and curse, like the evil eye can have frivolous meanings attached to them.
The Definition of Curses and Hexes
Sometimes, taking a simple look at the words can help the practitioner and the Spell Caster work with the public at large. For example, A computer version of The Oxford University Press Dictionary offers up two definitions for the use of hex as a noun and one as a verb:
“hex chiefly N. Amer. >verb cast a spell on >noun1 a magic spell. 2 a witch.
It includes three definitions of for spell and the middle one is our subject matter.
spell2 >noun 1 a form of words used as a magical charm or incantation. 2 a state of enchantment or influence induced by a spell.
-ORIGIN Old English, ‘narration’.
This means that in modern thought, when we hex someone, we cast a spell—become a part of the world of witches because a hex is the same as the noun witch. Then, if one takes a look at the word:
witch >noun 1 a woman thought to have evil magic powers. 2 a follower or practitioner of modern witchcraft. 3 informal an ugly or unpleasant old woman. >verb archaic 1 practice witchcraft. 2 cast an evil spell on.
-DERIVATIVES witchy >adjective.
-ORIGIN Old English.
A woman who is “thought” to have magic powers and they are evil—no possibility of good is included in the concept.
Then, looking at curses, we are further illuminated. There is, of course the epithet, the curse word, but that’s not our cup of tea. We are working through the difference between a hex and a curse in modern thought.
curse >noun 1 an appeal to a supernatural power to inflict harm on someone or something. 2 a cause of harm or misery.
We get the idea that we can “cast a . . . state of enchantment or influence induced by a spell.” when we hex someone.
AND
We “. . . appeal to a supernatural power to inflict harm on someone or something.” if we pronounce a curse.
All of the OED’s wording has a vague, somewhat clandestine edge to it, but it sounds as if the writers were not clear just exactly what is “Evil” and how “Evil” that evil happens to be—there is an odd, sense of humor to it, as if Peter Sellers or Steve Martin in the Pink Panther were on the case, investigating just how much evil this witchy stuff brings to the board.
The definition actually catches the attitude of the public-at-large, when relating to these words: nervous, edgy, shy, looking down or away, wiggling, avoiding any specific pronouncement. The OED sets the mood that is widely assumed—EVIL. We think of Stephen King or one of the multitude of horror movies. The idea of a hex being beneficial or a curse being worthwhile is just not something one hears.
But if we look closer, check out evil itself, things get heavy fast:
evil >adjective 1 deeply immoral and malevolent. 2 embodying or associated with the devil. 3 extremely unpleasant: an evil smell. >noun 1 extreme wickedness and depravity, especially when regarded as a supernatural force. 2 something harmful or undesirable.
-PHRASES the evil eye a gaze superstitiously believed to cause material harm. the Evil One archaic the Devil. speak evil of slander.
-DERIVATIVES evilly >adverb evilness >noun.
-ORIGIN Old English
This hurls a very heavy mind-set over all of the idea—you cast a spell on me with your wicked, evil eye and something deeply immoral will pump up the malevolence—there may even be evil smells. With all of the fuzzy-speak, it appears that evil odors will arise from the verbal flatulence. We will have to summon a wonderful detective with a ridiculous French accent to get to the bottom of all this.
What does it all mean?
That humans latch on to fear, and build vast, murky, fuzzy-logic mental panoramas, which the less-than-honest have capitalized on since pre-history: herding the masses by the nose with the use of fear, frightening the ordinary, working person into submission, exterminating folk that are “different” than the mainstream.
Cursory examination of things Egyptian can enforce the common view in our own psyches and cause us to allow fear to have a strong grip on our imaginations. Texts can make the general, fearful approach appear valid, and make the early Egyptian mythology appear scandalous. Thoughts like Horus’s eye working on Râ, his flame, his curse cutting up the enemy. Pronouncing the oaths in a series and thus, placing the power of all the gods with the hex.
These powerful verbal phrasings, accompanied by papyrus art and the burning of the creations, shows the intense relationship to the gods. But what is lost in translation. How much do we miss? How much “evil” has been heaped onto ancient text, even the heavy curses in the commonly accepted Bible—the powerful destruction in Revelations.
The use of the hex, the curse, has been skirted over because they frighten people so thoroughly. The book of Revelations is horrible—will the sinners receive such a heavy hand after Jesus brought such an amazing message or forgive

The use of the hex, the curse, has been skirted over because they frighten people so thoroughly. The book of Revelations is horrible—will the sinners receive such a heavy hand after Jesus brought such an amazing message or forgiveness—a true herald that peace is our one chance, our opportunity to mingle with love.
Curses in Ancient Times
Many ancient texts are laced with overwhelming violence. Even a philosophy as ripe with peace and loving kindness—the complete absence of revenge and warring with others—offers up tales like Milarepa committing 26 murders before picking up the saffron robes, the terrifying Herukas, the demons that represent our run-away egos in the iconography. These symbols could—and most probably are—misinterpreted. And the question is, do the interpretations of the Egyptian records actually convey the truths bestowed upon the student in those teachings? Have Revelations, the Egyptian tales, all of the great allegories been interpreted too literally—if Tibetan records were not so thorough, would we think that a reprisal was coming for our evil ways, a grim payback in which the reapers would be drinking our blood out of our skullcaps?
When we hear of the khesau grass fires, the remains mixed with excrement, the burning during the sixth hour of the night, on the fifteenth day of the month, and spitting on Âpep, to work with the tempests stirring up the eastern storms so the sun can be allowed to break through. Will we ever really know what is lost down through the generations. Do we actually know the metaphoric material underneath the hex?
Do we have to follow the trend that the OED—one of the very best dictionaries—promotes, unwittingly. Is there a possibility that we can hunt for the overall messages of the practitioners? Is their some possibility that the battle of ego is what is referred to in the struggle with Âpep? Is the storm, the endless whirling chatter in our minds? Is the hex a cryptic message, keeping the truth well hidden as must be done—a mantra, a story that we can tell ourselves and quiet our greedy minds? Is preventing the coming storm a veiled formula for making the sun of our beings shine forth after our minds are quiet.
Was the evil eye actually similar to the penetrating eye of the Zen Master just before we are whacked hard on the shoulder to help us keep from falling asleep during the sitting practice. Do all curses, all hexes actually arise from the mantra format—tools to help us get quiet and stumble into the state of enlightened mind? Did the originals get corrupted by fear of the great powers of enlightened mind and turn our brilliant wisdom into fear-laced misunderstanding. We can refuse fear-based works and make sure that all of our efforts go into the proper, expansive design of our hexes, our curses, our oaths. We can work with others to drop fear, to slow discursive mind, unkind behavior and cast spells wisely, pushing open the gates of wisdom—it is always up to us.

The Importance of Spell Secrecy

Once the wheels of magic are in motion, one should never discuss a magic spell with anyone. All occult matters must be kept a secret at all times. Talking and discussing spiritual matters will disturb the magical energies and will break the magic spell.
We know the great power, the deep, enfolding mystery of the dark. We know that teachings that make us fearful of the dark, of our shadow, are, in the end, empty fearful promises that can never offer true enlightenment.
Protecting Persons and Energy
Our shadow may move into killer mode to protect the creature, and this amazing surge of energy can save the person from demise—our beings are designed to avoid the end of the creature. We are not designed for unnatural acts like armies, which are the works of the rich, using the heart felt idealism of the young to herd them into weaponry and move them off for killingry. These efforts are attempts to create a stasis for protection of the assets of the wealthy. Nationalism is used to hypnotize the vast majority of working people—who also pay for the assets of the wealthy by relinquishing their own shares of the earth’s resources—then let their children march off to slaughter.
The above scenario is actual darkness as seen in Francis Coppola’s staggering film, Apocalypse Now. The darkness of our shadow and Egyptian spells has nothing to do with true evil like the mass psychosis of feeding children into the war machines to protect the assets of the wealthy.
What to Share and what Not
Our entire beings are aflow with the light, airy grace of being, of feeling the overwhelming state of happiness. This is the root of the philosophy of people like the Dali Lama who can be seen living in the natural state of grace. The Dali Lama shares his pursuit of kindness with us one and all—we can see it in the authenticity of his smile. We all want to provide, to gain understanding and to share it with all creatures, to offer great knowledge and bring release from the global suffering, which we can see so deeply etched on the majority of human faces.

However, there are many parcels of knowledge that must be kept between the Caster of Spells, the Practioner and the novitiate until the student is ripe, has gained sufficient understanding to treat the truths as jewels.
This need for protection of certain truths is seen in all great practice. Even a fine, clear spirit, so deeply trained in the magnificence of loving-kindness, so present, so clear, open and present right here in the moment, must be skillful about the dissemination of certain information.
In this same vein, Spell Casters must protect the novitiate, their participants, all who come in from the cold, and start stumbling across knowledge for which they are not prepared.
Never Cast Pearls Before Swine
We are all familiar with the old adage, “Never cast pearls before swine.” This is not to say that those who are not Spell Casters, who are not versed in the great teachings of Egypt are hog-like. It is not at all about putting people down—that is never wisdom, but always, fear-based, frivolous behavior.
This great truth from the ancients means that we should protect fine, glowing truths from those who are not prepared to utilize them. We can be pretty much certain that if we present a great hog with pearls, it will not place them around the neck of its beloved to present their wonderful luster to glow in the rays of the sun. On the contrary, the immense creature will either eat them and give them up again, to mix with the mud and excrement, which are his natural abode. Or, he may simply trample them directly into the slurry in which he revels.
Protecting the Spell Work through Secrecy
No matter, the Practioner of the Egyptian arts must steer clear of revealing more than their recipient can work with on an uplifting basis. When working with love potions—handling so much power—we must be fully aware of the vast forces at play.
First, there are droves of human beings who are very strongly opposed to all spells. They are deeply frightened of anything different, anything that doesn’t appear as part of their milieu, and because fear of the shadow side is so prolific, so often used to generate cash flow for films and television, a great percentage of the population are deeply afraid of any spell casting.
Protecting the Teachings
Protecting the teachings from this frivolous mind set is important, not from fear, but because one does not waste vitality by casting pearls. Too much talk weakens all great endeavors. This is one of the key points of all teachings. If one talks, and talks, and talks, the energy is spread too thin and immense amounts of one’s own power and the power of the magic and all related spells leak off via the chit-chat.
This is not to say that idle conversation is a forbidden behavior. Cults and other groups that get too strict, promote an isolation from our own selves as ordinary creatures. Above all things in this world, we are human beings. The ordinary, the mundane, the day-to-day, are a very important part of our being human. Simple things, like relaxing, laying on a bluff and watching a stream roll by, chatting with dear friends after the communion of a home cooked meal—all the ordinary pastimes are a very important part of keeping ourselves grounded.
But, if we simply stand around and gossip about our spells, our spell work, castings, and the other aspects of the sacred knowledge, there is a tendency to fall into habits. The key habit to avoid is promoting ourselves. This means that we can easily develop longings to be the “best,” “the most enlightened,” “ the most powerful of all sooth sayers.” That type of thinking actually misses the point. The idea is to be an asset. To cast Love Spells that help people move through all of those difficult barriers that can separate us from a healthy love life.

from a healthy love life.
Spell Secrecy in Ancient Egyptian Magic
The great Egyptian Arts, with Egyptian Witchcraft high on that list, are without boundary—the practitioner can empower the Love Spell as far as the person can expand with their own ability to receive. The one direction that must be kept is being of service—this keeps us away from the frivolous. False power, fixation with power out of context, being consumed with our own myths about our own selves: this type of behavior causes us to forget our deepest purpose—being at one with service—and get lost in the pursuit of empty grasping.
Love is actually the only power—it is where our only true, sustainable strengths are available. Ever rejuvenating, regenerating, and reforming, Love can release us into absolute freedom. As we get strong with Spell Casting, we begin to see what must be kept quiet. We understand where leaks of idle chatter diminish the great flow of energy through our work with others.
Love does not require laborious sets of rules—it is the rule, a rule unto itself. It is not all smiley-faced and vacuous, huggy-bear sentiment. Those behaviors are fine, but love also deals with the enhanced state of basic power, the simple, uncut gem—the raw rugged stone with its shadow flow, it’s inscrutable perfections, the facets not yet cut.
Exploration of the dark side in Spell Casting can lead to people thinking that they have become tough. mobsters of love, that they are invincible and have become a grand showpiece. This is also frivolous behavior and is one of the key reasons for avoiding talk, for keeping the work private.

How Love Rituals are Performed
To cast love spells, the magician will perform several rituals, by gaining the help of a divine force called daimon; a daimon is magician’s assistant or a parhaedros. When a magician provides a command to these daimons, they will do a number of things that are the need of the hour. The main goal of binding or is to harm or obstruct a planned victim. Many a time, these daimones will accomplish many tasks by using a number of techniques. One of them might appear in dreams of the victims, or to induce deep sleep to accomplish the goal of a love spell. There are also different types of love magic, or spells of attraction, where a woman will come to the site for different reasons, many times for sexual reasons alone. There many types of spells based on the needs and requirements of the person and a magician will use the following steps to cast those rituals:
Preparation of the love spell
This step involves collecting and accumulating all necessary ingredients in the right location, along with the concerned individuals.

Overture of the love magic
Here, one starts the actual ritual consisting of spells, incantation or the desired invocation required for the love magic. It will also create the right type of environment and buttresses the communion effect among the participants.
Invocation procedures
The invocation or the chanting of words of power is the actual part of the main ceremony with the active cooperation of supernatural and divine forces in the ideological forms of a deity, god or goddess.
The Execution step
It is where the ritualized magical act of love spells are correctly coordinated and carried out.
Materials used in Ancient Egyptian Love Magic
A love spell-caster may use several materials and items to cast his spells; such materials are mostly biological materials belonging to the victim. One of the well-known materials used to induce love magic is the victim’s hair strands or even nail pieces. Some magicians may also command the opposite sex to consume some sort of aphrodisiacs that puts them under the spell of love and affection. One of the most popular natural aphrodisiacs is the Mandrake roots that can cast very effective love spells, when the opposite party consumes its potion. Magical rituals also involved making one to drink a magic potion soon after the magical spell. Lettuce is another natural aphrodisiac that can cast love spells among with the classical rituals.
Several types of aromatic plants, soil and metals also find their place in love casting procedures:
Malachite: It is a green stone that provides joy and happiness
Myrrh: It is the incense of goddess of love, Hathor.
Phallus: It is the symbol of fertility and birth.

The Early Beginnings of Egyptian Love Magic
Since the ancient Egyptian periods, five or six thousand years ago, somewhere after we began to form current civilization—the deep fertility of sewing grains like wheat, rye and millet brought people closer to large population centers. With the coming together, widespread information about Love Magic started to become more and more well known. Since those amazing times during the early days of recorded history, Spells have been hot and righteous. The gathering of tribes opened a broad slate of magic to all the people. From the love-lorn among the Egyptian Royalty, right down the economic scale to the Lovers plowing fields, Spell Casting blossomed.

Those earthy beginnings brought on wave after wave of new lovers who were frightened, shy, reserved—or just plain old lost—and required aids for wading through the swamps of Love. Translation from ancient hieroglyphs and other anthropological findings, down to today’s overwhelm-of-data on the net is very complex and not always clearly understood. But now, there is very clear indication that love magic, no matter whether to move into wedlock with a known soul mate, or to find Love, have been with us since long before modern civilizations. Ancient Egypt, clear back to the Kamitians, opened us to a vast array of amorous Spell Casting, and it has come right down to us, is still in the air today.
The Benefits of Magic for Lovers
The goal, when using magic for lovers—as is always the case with True Love—is to never manipulate but to do powerful work, with right intent. Bring forth the great qualities of the sweethearts. Then they are able to overcome the endless subterfuge, the unending bulwarks, the heart rendering road blocks that those meandering through unrequited Love must vanquish in order to fall into the arms of their Lover.
Since those early days along the fertile shores of the Nile, high quality, genuine Lover’s Spells—as is clearly seen, even today—are only designed and used to open the heart and soul of the lost Lovers. This is done so thoroughly that they can utilize the great potencies of Love herself for to consummate True Love. Because real-world Love Spells are of such deep integrity, there is no room for contrived behavior. Love only moves forward.
Not only is love magic of great use when searching for intimacy, it boils over in the realm of rekindling. If the sweethearts have been removed from contact, been forced into exile, called up by military, education or other uncompromising situations the power to bring them together is remarkable.
The Potency of Egyptian Love Magic
Authentic Spell work has remained surprisingly potent and deeply grounded in integrity for a great many centuries. How can they miss when even such esteemed texts as The Egyptian Book of the Book of the Dead, show us what a wonderful feel spells have—how steadying the never-ending framework they provide can be for lovers. The text has exotic thoughts in it: “. . . even with the Great Cackle, they still have a strong, deep wonderful feel to them . . . keep watch over the Egg of the Great Cackler; I germinate as it germinateth; I live as it liveth; and my breath is its breath . . . .”

.”
But the overall calm one comes away with can not be denied.
We know that the power to reunite Lovers, fix broken relationships, win back a lost fiancé, stop separation and divorce, and create an eternal Love bond between two souls has been known since many millennia in the past.
Egyptian Love Magic in Modern Times
What about today, in the world of virtual-hyper-space? Do the Spells for the beloved travel up and down, riding the beams that flow between us and the satellites? Do the Love Signals travel globally over the net? Is there some possibility that they may even travel in a tight network all over the earth via the intricate, interlacing of the electromagnetic fields? The answer is yes on all counts. The scientists may not have pieced all the amazing intricacies of Love Magic together yet. But we do know that in modern times as well as days of yore, they help the lovers transcend. With the Magic of Integrity, the no-nos, the false rules, the limitations, the tragic barriers that society—and even the natural environment herself—the lovers can be hurl toward one another.
The Antiquities in Love Magic
The antiquities are never lost in any down-to-earth Egyptian Love Spell. From the ancient times on, the Earth’s staggering powers were incorporated into casting and all parts of the Magic. The great north wind flowed in the command of Osiris. Râ held rein of the south wind blowing up from mother Africa. The west wind seared in off the North African shore, through Alexandria and across the Egyptian land mass as Isis channeled his scorching power. And the east wind in from the Asian lands and waters bowed to Nephthy’s great skill.
With the herculean, Egyptian depth of understanding—her great, occult knowledge, so profound, and seen in such amazing manifestations as the pyramids—lovers could even move through the love portals during and after passing to the next life. Pictures of the four portals of the wind provided mastery over the doors through which the winds blew. On the coffin, Thoth provided the needed humph.

Let none who is outside know this chapter, for it is a great mystery, and those who dwell in the swamps (i.e., the ignorant) know it not. Thou shalt not do this in the presence of any person except thy father, or thy son, or thyself alone; for it is indeed an exceedingly great mystery which no man whatever knoweth.”
Even today’s translations of the ancient texts are rife with mystery. Hope always remained for those deprived of their beloved. Amun Ra’s boat, provided an amazing ride after the death of the lovers, and Osiris joined the procession—these spells required the use of deep-intent phrasing of the spells.
Back in the Day of Egyptian Magic
Around four millennia back, it is said that Hesepti began painting boats on papyrus as a part of the passing over. In the book of the dead, the boats are made of green porcelain and purified with incense. An image of the lovers rides in the boat, and it is closely guarded. The chapter of the book of the dead is recited while standing over a hawk with a white crown. A figure of the lover’s spirit is present and anointed with oil and incense burned and all of the parts of detailed, Egyptian ritual enacted. Lovers, through complex ceremony, pass on to the other side.
The fine art of Egyptian icons explores many themes related to subjects that are of great confusion to the masses. Death continues to frighten people who are not well trained in the ability to drop the fear of passing. In Egyptian love work, we see the beloved’s spirit just above the deceased, and the icon of the after-body at a door swung open, illustrating that the lovers might come-and-go, and their earliest love potions forever keep them melded, spirit to spirit.
What application can these tales from the ancients have in this time of The Matrix, of sound-byte humans, bulleted thinking, of children hurled along on the propulsion of their synapses, soaring through infinite cyberspace. Sometimes over looked, overshadowed by melodrama, we may forget that the truly amazing quality of a Love Spell is its grounding potential. After all, no matter what is said, love is always the weft upon which we weave of the survival of the race. The love song, the love story, the love metaphor, the lover’s drama, the love spell: all are woven so deeply into our collective human psyche that they are not simply important—we must have them in order to survive the endless curve balls that a life hurls our way.

As we were in the early days…
The great centers of collective human understanding tend to flourish then move on to another location: Atlantis, Mesopotamia, Kamitia, Egypt. They attract all great powers, minds, research for a moment in Homo sapiens’s desire for understanding of the great mystery that surrounds us. We can look back several millennia, and imagine that we are riding the Sphinx to gain personal overview. We can take a leap forward, right over the shoulder of her resplendent mystery.
In our forward lunge, we can see that the truth of love is found everywhere. Even in our simple, popular songs, the balladeers wring out the old verities of the heart, the words that bring us to tears and deep, deep understanding of what a spell is actually designed to achieve.
“It’s still the same old story, the fight for love and glory. The world depends on lovers as time goes by.”

The God: Osiris

Osiris is very powerful god of the earth and green! Legend informs us that whenever he dies, there used to be a spell of severe draught. On the other hand, his miraculous birth brought great floods on the Nile River and subsequent lush green fields and harvest. He is also the all-important god-king, who presented the Egyptian civilization to the world. He is the first child of Nut and Geb. He is also brother to Seth, Nepthys and Isis. He is also a father to Horus and Anubis. Osiris also has a great influence on the occult of ancient Egypt. He was the great god of the dead and deceased and he must have possessed a human form to live on the earth. As an elder son to Geb, he inherited the throne, when Geb abdicated his kingship, at a time when early Egyptians were uncultured and barbarous.
On seeing this, Osiris mixed among those people and taught them how to grow food grains, worship gods and obey civilian laws. On the other hand, Thoth assisted him in redefining arts and basic concepts of science. Osiris is probably the greatest ruler who ruled the land with extreme kindness and compassion. Later, he appointed Isis as his second in command to travel to other lands, to teach more people about civilizations. However, Seth had other devious plans in his mind to acquire the entire kingdom from Isis. However, as soon as Osiris returned to his empire, Seth and his compatriots killed and threw his dead body into the Nile River, murdered him.
Isis with an active assistance from Nepthys, Anubis and Thoth located the body of Osiris from the river. Upon learning that the Osiris body in the river, the infuriated Seth tore it into fourteen different pieces and threw them all over the country. Isis was successful again to find all those fourteen parts of the body, except the phallus eventually eaten by fishes of Nile River. Isis used he magical powers to join and redesign Osiris’ body to make him impregnate her body to give birth to another Horus. After a lengthy trial lasting to more than 18 years, Isis was successful wrest the power and the Egyptian kingdom from Seth.
In his afterlife, Osiris led a life of compassion and affection, by admitting everyone to a place called Duat, a fertile and rich land where all good deceased people happily lived. Egyptians believed that Duat existed just below Nun, in the northern heavens or in the west. These events were so successful in their significance that Egyptians believed that Osiris always hinted at life and death, destruction and resurrection, and finally decay and rebirth. His association with the god of storms and desert, Seth also provided enough clues about the future events leading to a severe conflict between the fertile lands of Egypt and the most barren landscape of the west.

There were many festivals held in celebration of Osiris:
A November festival, celebrated Osiris’ immense beauty.
A festival of mourning called the “Fall of Nile” to signify sadness and bitterness.
Fact: When the holy river Nile reseeded during the time of draught, Egyptians went to the shore to offer gifts and grief over his death, while when the river started flooding, they offered their holy shrines to declare that the holy god is alive again.
The holy name of Osiris has several meanings like:
Asar (A Greek form)
The Strength of the Eye
The one who sees the throne
“Unnefer” where Un is “to open” and neferu is “good and noble things”
Quote
Osiris was not only a merciful judge of the dead in the afterlife, but also the underworld agency that granted all life, including sprouting vegetation and the fertile flooding of the Nile River. He is described as the “Lord of love”,[7] “He Who is Permanently Benign and Youthful”[8] and the “Lord of Silence”…

The Magic of Osiris
As many of you already know some of of the most potent spells include the powers of Osiris, the oldest gods in Egypt. Osiris is a god with much to bring to magic spell workings. Consort and brother to Isis and the father of Horus, Osiris is the god of the underworld, of the afterlife, and of the dead.  But while these titles seem to give Osiris an energy of pain or difficulty, this is not the same.  He is a merciful judge in the process of death, helping to gather the dead to the place of their final rest. This may sound scary, but it isn’t; in fact, Osiris is very peaceful and symbolizes love and light.
The Cycles of Osiris
As Osiris is linked with the idea of death and its place in the cycle of life, a magic spell using the name of Osiris might include the idea of movement and of progression.  All that once was will end someday, but as something ends, something new can begin as well.  The idea of new life began once Osiris died as the Nile began to flood each year, causing the crops to have the water they needed to grow.
Osiris the Dead
Osiris’ soul was also worshipped as he was already dead and this was not in physical form for much of the time of his popularity.  In a magic spell, calling upon the soul of Osiris would be appropriate.  Osiris was also able to look at those who were ready to enter the underworld to see if they had lived a good life.  If they had, they were welcomed, but if they had not, they might be punished for the deeds committed while on earth.
A Shepherd
For some, Osiris is thought to also be a shepherd for the people, helping to herd tribes from the Upper Nile.  The crook he carries signifies this purpose, but it later became the symbol for authority and power – and kings and leaders began to take this item as a sign of their rule.
In my magic spells Osiris helps to let go of the bad, the negative and the obstacles and helps to introduce the good and the positive. It is very beneficial in love related matters where negative feelings, resentment and anger are involved.
Please understand that there is nothing evil, demonic or bad about Osiris.

Shu also has the great power to hold and pin down poisonous snakes; he is the god, who held the long ladder for the dead ones, so that they climbed over to the heavens.
He is brother and husband to Tefnut and legends point out that they were the two distinctive parts of one single soul. He is also the son to Re or Atum and a father to Geb and Nut. Shu is a man, who wears four feathers over his head.

The Goddess: Sekhmet

A fierce goddess of war, mayhem and destruction, Sekhmet sports a lion head with pronounced beard and mane. She is sister and wife of Ptah  and created by the fire rays of Re’s fierce eyes. In fact, Re created this goddess to seek vengeance to destroy men for their treacherous ways and marked disobedience to his authority.
With a fierce and aggressive outlook, Sekhmet became uncontrolled and wayward. To pacify her aggressive attitude, Egyptians developed several rituals and procedures that involved more than 800 statues of various goddesses and their forms.
Egyptian priests had to worship Sekhmet, by performing a ritual before one of those statues, every morning and afternoon of all 365 days of the year. The name Sekhmet means “sekhem” and this word has its root on the meaning “to be aggressive, strong, virile, vital, mighty and violent”. Sekhmet relates to the goddess Bastet and in union, both represent the west and the east.

The God: Amon

Also called Amen, Amun, Ammon, and Amoun in Egyptian myth. The most important god of Thebes region, Amon is actually a human form. Until the end of the 12th dynasty, Amon was just a local god of Thebes. However, as the princes of Thebes conquered most parts of the Upper and Lower Egypt, Amon started gaining prominence, especially in the upper regions of the country. The rulers of Thebes also tried to make him the king of all gods, but with out any perceptible success.
Also the god of the poor and oppressed, Amon enjoyed immense popularity among the ordinary citizens of Egypt. A deep believer in the equality of justice, he protected the weak and oppressed from strong and mighty people. However, he always placed a caveat before providing any help or assistance to the people; he made sure that people demonstrate their worthiness or to confess their sins first. There was a perfect synergy between this god and the priests, and with each passing day priests became strong both in social and monetary aspects.
Legend says that when the great queen Hatshepsut got a considerable degree of support from the local priests, she honored god Amon is her own father and built a great temple at Deir el-Bahri. Mired among political controversies, this god soon lost his prominence as the city of Thebes lost its importance as the capital of Egypt. Thutmosis IV always wanted to worship the purer form of Sun god and this urge for purity made him to switch over to another important god, Aten, who eventually became the de facto god of the great Pharaohs. The successor pharaohs to Thutmosis IV, starting from Akhetaten began a campaign of erasing the name of Amen from the public works of Egypt.
However, the great pharaoh of ancient Egypt, Tutankhamon, moved his capital back to Thebes and started restoring the old gods including Amon. Nevertheless, god Amon was never successful in regaining his old fame and charm, and this eventually led to the pharaohs looking forward to powerful gods of the Osirian family. Amon’s wife was the famed mother goddess, Mut and his son was another equally well-known moon god, Khonsu. However, other mythological texts mention that Amon to be one of the eight primordial god of creation.
Amon represents five different forms of Egyptian myth and they are:
As a man: Available images show that he is sitting as a man on the throne, with scepter in one hand, while ankh in the other.
As a man: Available records also show that he shows himself as a god with the head of a frog.
As a man: He also represents as a man with the head of a cobra.
He also represents as a man with ape’s head.
The great stone sculpture of ancient Egypt shows him as a man with a lion’s head sitting on a great pedestal.
